We were the unluckiest people on earth. 20 years, countless safaris, Corbett, Ranthambore, Kabini, Kaziranga... you name it, we have been there and done that (the safaris). So, we didn't really have much of a hope when we went to Wayanad, though the sightings log...More

With regards to the safaris, at Rajiv Gandhi National Park (Nagarhole), there are 2 options. First is govt safari and second is JLR. Govt safaris have buses and gypsy. JLR safaris have Canters and a guide who would give lot of information. At times Canters are better than gypsy, since at some places, we could spot animals only because of the height benefit.
Tholpetty, is again a different national park and you should visit that too.
