one of those days, french air traffic controllers struck, so we had to drive unexpectedly,an hour before we needed a bed we started to phone, joy they had room, the approach to the hotel for us meant reading road map and not using sat.nav (used old road from the top of the road into village much faster)so the experence for...

We loved this small hotel on the Seine. Beautiful and clean rooms. Wonderfully managed by a family. They take good care of their guests. They serve good food if you want to eat there and are careful to ask times you may be interested (coffee or breakfast i.e.) so they can be ready. Could easily stayed and enjoyed longer.

My husband and I recently spent one week at this beautiful small hotel on the banks of the river Seine. We had a lovely stay and were very well cared for! Our hosts! Marie Angele and Jean~Francois were delightful and accommodating! Our rooms had a gorgeous view of the river and all it's activity. Very homey. The food Jeanne ~Francois...

I selected this hotel from the '' Logis de France'' book, as it had a top rating for cuisine. A warm welcome from M. Desaint, the room was comfortable and a great view of the Seine in a very pastoral setting. My wife ordered the fish '' fletan'' which was very over cooked round the edges. We wondered if it...

This little hotel was a wonderful place to stay in the French countryside. If you're looking to get away from the big city tourist rush of Paris, this is the place to be. The owners are a friendly couple and they will make sure you are well taken care of. The location of the Seine river is as peaceful as...

We, two couples, booked this hotel by chance and are pleased that we did so. It is refreshing to receive such a hospitable welcome. The hotel is tired in some areas but important areas such as the bathrooms in both of our rooms had been recently refurbished to a high standard. The hotel has a style which is lacking is...

Stopped here on our last night in France last Saturday to break up the long journey north. Often stay in the general area but wanted somewhere a bit quieter and more relaxing than our normal stopovers, we're glad we did. We booked a deluxe room for ourselves and our 17 year old daughter. As the room was basically a small...

When you can find it you will be pleased to see the view over the Seine from the Restaurant. But that is it. This is a very old hotel and you can see it and smell it. As I travelled on a business trip I made a reservation what they call in France "Etappe Affaire" or "Soirée Etappe". 98 €...

Just occasionally you stay at a hotel, and drive away thinking how exceptionally kind everyone has been, and what a pleasure it has been to stay. L'Hostellerie St Pierre was one such place. We stayed in April 2014, enjoyed a wonderful dinner, a quiet night, and soaked up the situation on the bank of the Seine the next morning. The...

This is a little gem of a hotel located off the beaten path. It occupies a park like setting overlooking the river Seine. The owners treat you like family with their warm hospitality and graciousness. The rooms are very bright, cozy and comfortable. The chef (also the owner) produces stellar food at reasonable prices. You will not be disappointed with...
