Wonderful, wonderful week at magical Villa Miela! Has to be seen to be believed, lake Skadar is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, and I have visited quite a few of them. The activities were fantastic, and Ben and Emma the perfect hosts, warm, efficient and patient. We fell in love with the country and its people, and will definitely will try and come back.

This holiday had it all - idyllic setting, superb accommodation, wonderful local food, fantastic activities. The Yoga, in particular, was just perfect for me (some previous experience) and my husband (absolute beginner). Marnie (our lovely instructor) was sensitive to everyone's needs, yet encouraged and challenged us with skill and fun, while guiding us through the physical and spiritual aspects of Hatha Yoga. We savoured some of the most beautiful, unspoiled areas around Lake Skadar by kayak and on foot - again at a level appropriate to all in the group. Hosts, Ben and Emma, were very welcoming and have embraced this area of Montenegro with a passion for all things natural. A truly invigorating and relaxing holiday. We also greatly appreciated Ben's sound advice for

We had an amazing stay in Villa Miela. Our hosts Emma and Ben are friendly, helpful and informative. The Villa is clean, well organised and homely. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The surroundings are beautiful, the views from the villa are wonderful and full of Montenegro nature. Creatures and critters such as wild tortoises, frogs, birds to name a few are in abundance. The trees and flowers are plentiful and the fragrances intoxicating. The pool is clean, tidy and very inviting after a day of exploring and Yoga. The activities are well ran, safe and exciting. The food well prepared, cooked and served. We enjoyed eating homemade warm bread, lots of traditional Montenegro foods, honey, jams and milk harvested from the local area and fresh

We had the most amazing family holiday at Villa Miela, with our 2 kids (15 and 12). No complaints about hiking because there were rivers to swim in and bridges to jump off. No moaning about visiting Monasteries because we kayaked there across the beautiful Lake Skadar, dived off the kayak and swam in the warm water. Then when we returned to Villa Miela in the evening the swimming pool kept them entertained. There was WiFi, but my daughter didn't even put the codes into her phone. Emma and Ben were the most fantastic hosts, so knowledgable about the local area and obviously well liked by the local people. The Villa has a truly amazing views across Lake Skadar, so breakfast on the terrace was delightful. A great success for all the family.

This holiday has been absolutely amazing. If you love exploring the outdoors and are willing to give everything a go, this is the holiday to go on. This holiday provided us a range of activities including hiking around waterfalls, swimming in secret spots, kayaking activities and meal in local homes, all of which were immersed in breath taking scenery and nature. Not only were the activities incredible, the hosts Ben and Emma were absolutely amazing. They were very friendly and chatty, happy to talk about their experinces and time in Montenegro as well as sharing plenty of knowledge about the area and its history. They were fanscinating to listen to and very entertaining. The villa itself was very comfortable with great views and easy access to ammenities.
