Bed and breakfast is now closed, but you can stay in Windy Ridge Cottage! You must visit this estate, charming, cosy and comfy. We did the check in when we liked without any problem, the keys were at the door. The house had everything you need for a short or long stay, even a fireplace to spend the night playing...

Sadly we arrived hoping for the 5* quality shown on the website. Whilst this may have been the case some time ago it is now very tired. Booked the cottage rather than the b&b and was so disappointed. Host is lovely and very helpful but has a big battle ahead to keep the place afloat.

Stayed here one night and wish I had a little more time to explore the property. On first arrival the room had an interesting smell to it but soon paid it no attention, presumably just comes with the age of the property I guess. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of choices....

The property and grounds are very beautiful and very well kept, they definitely deserve five stars. This is not true for the room, bathroom and breakfast, which are comfortable and good quality enough to make a nice stay, but do not justify the prices. You will get good basics, the bed is new and very comfortable, breakfast is good and...

Firstly to start on a most positive note....Nick is one of the nicest people we have come across. He is charming, welcoming and indeed a most understanding person. He has carefully and lovingly turned his family home into a B&B and has left no stone unturned. From the exquisite decor, to the amazingly friendly staff, the beautiful grounds and the...

Thank you for your support which is much appreciated and I am sorry and can only apologise to you and the other guests who also had to suffer this. The saying "It only takes one to ruin it for everyone” comes to mind here!

Don't be misled by the gallery of photographs, which is a complete misrepresentation of this very tired and disappointing property. At £130 per night our expectations were high, but the very small 'King Size' Room, towels smelling of breakfast, poor outside seating and the forlorn pool area proves this establishment is terrible value for money? The card board cut out...

I am sorry these guests were disappointed and felt this way though I gathered they were under the impression that we are a Hotel and not a Luxury English Country B&B which we endeavour to be and would not wish to change. With regards to the comments about our gallery of photographs, all I can say is if you are...

Windy Ridge is a gracious English Manor perfectly located in the Cotswolds. The gardens are beautiful. The house is wonderful and our room, Desmet, has spectacular views out the front and back. There is a great selection of breakfast choices and everything we had was delicious. There is a wonderful pub in Longborough which is just a short walk away....

We spent one night during bank holiday weekend. We were impressed from the moment we got there: the property is gorgeous and Nick is a very welcoming host. The room was nice and clean, we slept very comfortably. The bathroom is not en-suite but there's one for every room so it's yours for the duration of your stay. We ordered...

We stayed here for 2 nights recently. Nick was an amazing host. His property and his with are incomparable. Made to order breakfast, with crumpets to die for. Relaxing, and charming. Comfortable beds, snacks, drinks. What more could you ask for.

We stayed at Windy Ridge House for a wonderful five nights in May 2016. Nick, the proprietor, likes his guests to tell him at what time they'll be arriving, and, seeing the size of the house, you can understand why: if he were in one of the far reaches of this enormous family home when you arrived he'd never hear...

Thank you for taking the time and for leaving such a positive and wonderful review. We set out to provide a “home from home” stay for our guests and it is lovely and makes the whole thing worthwhile when they so obviously enjoy sharing our home with us. Please do come and see us again.
