Excellent and value for money, located right on the beach, with an infinity pool. Good food available, and rooms were well maintained. Good water sports activities available around the place as well and other dining options as well
Select the superior sea view room and voila - you see the majestic Arabian Sea from your bedroom. The resort is right on the Devbag beach and scores very high on location. The rooms are spacious though could do with better maintenance. Food is ok. Breakfast menu is limited but one must bear in mind that this is a resort in a small village Devbag and employees too are locals, so do not expect very high service standards. That being said, this is still a very beautiful resort to stay. Does have an insect issue - more to do with that entire area. Dragon flies, moths and butterflies do intrude do keep doors and windows shut.
The requirement was to book a hotel with a swimming pool on the beach. Tarkarli has a lot of homestay options which we were avoiding. The rating and review already highlighted that the hotel was at a great point with less man power and hence less maintenance. One review also mentioned that there was no reception/lobby, but in our case this was not the case. A good hotel with superb place with less maintenance. Network reception was poor and the hotel Wifi was not working. The food needs to be ordered if Ala carte and there are no thalis available for dinner. Breakfast was limited but good. Whatever we ordered was good. There are limited to zero options for dinning nearby. Do try out Tsunami island (water activities)which would cost you around 500-1000 INR per family. Our guy charged us 800INR for 7 adults and 5 kids.…
This is a rare property in Tarkarli with a swimming pool and a restaurant. The rooms are very clean and the staff is polite. Expect a short delay in service as they are always full. Chimni is a nice restaurant with decent food.
First time i had visited malvan and was so confused about staying, i had been with my two small kids and that was Sunday, too hard to get rooms and just went and enquired in Avisa Nila Beach Resort unfortunately we got the room. Room was so good and clean with beach view and pool we just loved the stay. Food is so good in the cafeteria with good service all the worker are so co-operative over there and they just provide everything over the room if we need. Many of my friends enquired about the place after seeing pics. I was just not feeling to check out the resort its so amazing. i suggest u guys to pick this resort. Many of my friends suggested not to visit malvan in the month of may but i did not feel much humidity you can enjoy the trip in this month.
We stayed for 2N3D here. The property location is awesome, just on the Devbag beach. This part of the beach is less busy, we hardly see any rush there. This almost gives you a feeling of private beach. The beach is also very clean, you could literally see the bottom of the shore. The food quality was also good. We being vegeterians, there was no problem in enjoying the food here. We stayed in the sea view deluxe rooms on the 1st floor. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. Bathrooms are also big. ( a slight tink of age is visible though, but not to complain about ) The services in the rooms were great, the staff is very friendly and courteous. We also enjoyed dips in the pool. This is really a good option for a relaxing stay in this area.
This is my second stay in AVISA Nila and we stayed there 4-5 years back once and at that time we really liked this place, specially for the location and the experience. This made us go to this place once again and it was extremely disappointing. The location of this place is awesome, and there is where the good part ends. The place is really not properly maintained. The rooms are in poor conditions, bath rooms are pathetic, broken toilet seats, cracked mirror, dirty bath tub and the list is endless. The mattresses are sagging and we really got back pain after sleeping there for 2 nights. The service is equally disappointing. The staff is totally disinterested and you have to remind them again and again for the room service. During our stay of 2 days, once room service asked us to pick our food from cafeteria and another time they asked us to have food at the restaurant only as they were short of staff. It was shocking and first time we experienced this. Based on the old glory of this place, the owner has built lots of cabins at cheaper prices which has totally spoilt the place. You'll find people sitting in garden in group sitting and eating food like a picnic. Young people sit and drink sitting besides pool, people use the pool in their night suits (this was totally unbelievable) and staff does not care about it at all. You'll find used coffee cups and food items lying next to pool for hours. I have stayed at various kinds of places and never experienced this level of unprofessional attitude anywhere. All in all, consider this place if you want to have picnic sitting in the garden of resort, want to use swimming pool in night suits and OK to manage your own room service then this is the place, but if all of these things make you feel awkward then this is not the place for you. We stayed in premium sea view room and the cost of that is equivalent to any 4-5 star hotel, and it is not worth a that money at all. Give it a miss ! To owner, I really request you to revive this place as it was before. We felt really disappointed looking at the current condition…
We booked this based on its location and were not disappointed. It is right on the beach with back door opening on the beach. We were a large group and booked all the glass cottages which are right in the front of the pool. The cottages though quite small we did enjoyed the different experience. The service was good but very slow. House keeping surely needs some improvement. Food was average but few items did taste good. The person serving us was real nice. Pool was clean but did not use it for Covid reasons. For Scuba diving and other activity they do call the concerned agency and you can than deal with them. Best part is that for Scuba diving a boat comes right in front of the hotel and you just get on the beach and board it. Overall we were satisfied.
Every time the room was cleaned it had given out a very bad smell. The pool also was full of garbage and dust, and the food service was really slow. And the mattresses were very old and dusty. I don't recommend to stay. If you want to have a good trip then I recommend you to stay in any other hotel. Not good at all. Please read this review carefully before you register the money.
I did not enjoy it. It was not a good experience, when I visited the pool was not clean. The hotel near the swimming pool was nice, but the service was very slow. When the bathroom was cleaned there was a very bad smell. The mattress was really dusty. Not a good place to swim. There were no house slippers. Please a humble request to fix these problems. Bye
