We stayed for 10 days during July and were amazed by the beautiful surroundings and very cozy apartment. Sarah and Mark made us feel very welcome and were formidable hosts. They gave us great tips about the surrounding area and events to visit, as well as helping with bookings for restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely miss breakfast on the terrace and drinking wine whilst looking at the sunset on the valley
A big surprise when we arrived. The views, the silence and a perfect room. A beautidul place to stay a couple of days. There is a lot to see and do in the surroundung. The hosts are very friendly. We will come back!!!
The best Hideaway place ever! The location is fantastic, in the heart of beautiful Italy, cute and magic garden with a nice pool, very clean, comfortable and peaceful room and friendly environment. Sarah and Mark are exceptional hosts, eager to assist with our visit of the area. Thanks to their friendly attitude, our little getaway trip turned into a fantastic experience! The treats they prepared for snack/breakfast time are absolutely delicious. Grazie mille to Sarah and Mark!
I'm sure there are lots of lovely places to stay in Italy, but the difference here is the hosts! Mark and Sarah have a ton of experience in hospitality and it really shows. From the initial communications to when we (didn't want to) leave, everything was perfect. We especially appreciated the welcome basket full of homemade/local products. This was not the first time we've stayed with these guys, and it won't be the last. Thank you, Mark and Sarah!
A most beautiful, inspiring place to stay. Thanks to the owners Sarah & Mark! Huge garden in a peaceful valley. Really nice B & B, the Monti Sibillini area ist so amazing. We really did enjoy our holiday there...
We have just spent the most relaxing week staying at Il Nascondiglio. Sarah and Mark are THE perfect hosts and cannot do enough to help. The appartment was spotlessly clean and sanitized, there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us, including home made bread and cakes. Everything you could possibly need is there in the appartment, and the attention to detail is second to none. The setting is idyllic - the only noise we heard in the manicured garden was bird song. Sarah and Mark are always on hand to help with anything you need to know, they have a wealth of knowledge about the local area, and are happy to suggest things to do if you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet of the garden. There are ample sun loungers, tables and chairs, and lovely areas to sit in. You are spoilt for choice. We cannot wait to go back again. It really was perfect in every way.…
We were welcomed by the owners Mark & Sarah. It’s obvious they have their roots in hospitality. They created a wonderful B&B and from the first moment they make you feel at home! We stayed for one week, but next time we stay longer. Mark&Sarah know everything about the area and will provide you with the best ‘insider tips’! We visited places, the ‘regular’ tourist will never find. We thank Mark& Sarah for a wonderful stay and we will meet again! Suzan & Sander (the Netherlands 🇳🇱)
We stayed for 6 days in the well equipped appartment "Garden View". Beautiful and very quiet surroundings, good for just doiing nothing, drinking coffe in Amandola or just going to the Grande Piano.. Very enthousiastic hosts, who will give you all the necessary information (besides the bread and cupcakes!)
This place is beyond wonderful. We stayed at the 2-bedroom apartment with a terrace and a porch (valley view apartment). Very well equipped, nicely decorated with everything you need (really!), including a washing machine you can use (1 time included during your stay and for all the other times at very reasonble fee). The place is clean, quiet and beautifully set in the nature. Ask Mark for his homemade bread. It’s absolutely delish! Mark and Sarah are very nice, easy going and fun to talk to (in English and Italian). So, book this place. You will not regret it! Have a wonderful hike in the nature, visit historic cities closeby (and a little further away), relax on a lounger in the garden or simply practise the wellknown dolce far niente. We will definately come back as this place was the highlight of our vacation!…
We stayed in the Hideaway for four nights, and came back for another night because we enjoyed it so much. Our personal brief for this holiday was: "lots of fresh air, verdant greenery, good walking opportunities and access to lovely local restaurants". The Hideaway scores ten-out-of-ten on all accounts. What a truly beautiful place it is, tucked away in the foothills of the Sibillini Mountains. Rooms are lovely, well equipped and clean, and there is private seating outside on the terrace and in the large, lush garden. There is a barbecue and a swimming pool, which we did not use, but it all looked very tempting. We chose a double room with breakfast, and this was a wonderful start of the day - homemade fresh muffins and bread, local peaches and melon, cheese and ham, orange juice and coffee. What more do you want? Sarah and Mark are brilliant hosts and make you feel very much at home. They are also a font of information about local activities, restaurants and facilities, and they will help reserve a table at a suggested eatery, which is necessary during the current health regulations. The Hideaway is more than highly recommended - we hope to be back in the not-too-distant future!…
