We have just returned from a stay at this wonderful farm. We were greeted by the owner as soon as we arrived. He introduced himself and his farm which has a wide range of animals. We were shown to our room straight away. A beautiful little building housing a large shower room and bedroom. So quaint and cosy. The room was very well presented, clean and welcoming. The bed was even better. So cosy and you sunk into it. There is an outdoor area for guests to sit out and enjoy their stay. Some of their animals wander around you too. They are all so tame and wonderful to see and be around. The hosts were a dream, so welcoming and nothing is too much for them. After a good night's sleep we went to the dining room. Our table was set up beautifully awaiting us and the host ready to take our order. Fresh made bread awaited us as our full English cooked. It was superb! Very tasty and plenty to eat. We couldn't resist the bread and was very kindly told we could take a fresh loaf home. It didn't last long! After, the host again showed us the animals and told us their stories. Absolutely fascinating! We even fot to feed the sheep and have a conversation with the turkey! We were also invited to a BBQ in the evening which the guests suggested and the hosts were more than happy to host! Sadly, we had to return home that day or we would have loved it! We were told to stay as long as we liked and enjoy the farm. There is so much love and passion by the owners which is evident in the farm, buildings and b&b. We paid an amazing price for an amazing nights stay. We would highly recommend anyone to stay and enjoy a beautiful place with amazing hosts. …
This was our third stay at Brampton Dales. We love it, Hugh and Marrion are really welcoming and are really nice and chatty. Excellent rooms in a beautiful, peacefully idyllic setting. Great breakfast and special mention for the homemade bread, Hugh even gave us extra to take home. We cannot wait to go again.
Great accommodation, amazing breakfast, beautiful animals. Freshly baked bread was lovely. Hugh is very hospitable. Quiet location and village. Watched by turkeys waiting for leftover breakfast. Stuart the calf is adorable.
Hugh never fails to amaze us every year when we come for my birthday, the amount of effort he puts in to make our experience perfect is brilliant. He makes us feel so special each and every time. Yet again another perfect night stay, unbelievable food and even better company with hugh, marion, Sarah and all the amazing animals!
I was very late arriving but the host (Hugh) was waiting to guide me to my parking place and was very welcoming despite the time. Very cosy room, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Everything you could need in the room and bathroom and all very clean. Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast and Delicious Home baked bread. Absolutely couldn’t fault it and Will stay here again when in the area.
