We just recently stayed 2 nights at Carol's beautiful home high up in the scenic hills overlooking Collingwood and Georgian Bay as part of our 25th anniversary celebration. We stayed in the spacious King Quarter's Suite that essentially is the whole bottom floor of the house. We had our own little kitchen, a huge living room area with big screen... More

I absolutely loved staying at the Wild Apple Hill B&B. Carol made us feel so at home and provided such excellent service. The whole place is just perfect and the beds are comfy too! This was my first time at a B&B and I will never stay at a hotel again if I can help it.

We stayed at Wild Apple after being on the Bruce Trail for 5 days. What a refreshing way to relax after a hot day on the trail. We were the only guests that night and thus did not have to share the full bath. Yes, even a tub. My lovely wife really appreciated that. Carol was a wonderful hostess. We... More

We stayed in the King Suite , the most spacious accommodations you will find. Beautiful patio with an interesting fish pond, surrounded by wild flowers and nature at its finest. Secluded enough to be relaxing yet close to all the amenities and attractions you wish to see. Carol is warm and welcoming , it really does feel like your immaculate... More

If you are looking for a B&B that has peace, privacy, and panoramic views of Georgian Bay, yet is only minutes drive from Collingwood and other places of interest, then look no further than the Wild Apple Hill B&B. Carol, the hostess of this B&B, succeeds in every effort to make her home feel like your own "home away from... More

My husband and I have been to Wild Apple Hill Bed and Breakfast for at least five years and we go there about 2-3 times per year. The B&B is hidden in the forest, creating an instant peaceful atmosphere. The lovely grounds and beautiful decor of her home are the result of the owner, Carol Deffett. Carol is such a... More

Second stay, and it only gets better. The King's Quarters cannot be beat. Entire ground floor at your disposal, with walk out patio. Wood burning fireplace. Kitchen with dining. Big screen satellite tv. Sauna. Bed is so comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is always amazing. Will never stay anywhere else when in the collingwood area.

My wife and I decided to visit the Scandinavian Spa and looked around for a place to stay. Having never done the B&B thing before I wasn't sure about it but was so glad I did. This place was better than any hotel. Right from the start Carole made us feel so welcome. The room was great and I would... More

We have been at Wild Apple Hill twice before in the winter time to enjoy cross country skiing in the area. This time we were hiking on the Bruce Trail and cycling on the local rail trail. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Collingwood area, this is it! Carol is very welcoming and helpful. Her... More

Another vote for "great breakfasts"! This is a charming B&B with a spectacular hillside view overlooking the Collingwood area. It's a short drive to Scenic Caves, Blue Mountain, Collingwood and the Beaver Valley. Carol was an accommodating hostess with lots of suggestions for what to do in the surrounding area. She was renoing to expand the dining room in early... More
