The on-site owners of this gite are very pleasant, friendly and helpful, but the gite itself was something of a disappointment. It is certainly not as luxurious as the owners' website would suggest, and we did not think it represented particularly good value for the rental cost. The shower room is cramped and not very well equipped; the television was...

Great place tucked away in the quiet village on Noulens. We based ourselves here for a week while checking out the Armagnac distilleries - great fun. Lots of lovely villages and markets to explore and some awesome restaurants. Also were able to just have some quiet days relaxing. We had great help from the owners with directions and places we...

Le Vieux Presbytere is a warm and comfortable escape from the contemporary world, down to the church bells and roosters that are the only noises you'll hear. We love the emptiness of the Gers region, and this gite is perfectly located to make the most of that tranquility but also not be too far from the villages and markets that...

We had a really lovely stay at Le Vieux Presbytère, in the village of Noulens, and would highly recommend it! It is situated next door to a beautiful church and is run by an English couple who were very friendly and readily available with a number of helpful recommendations on things to do and see in the surrounding area. We...

Pretty gite in a tiny country village. Had very good weather for September. Our hosts, Jackie and Richard, were charming, extremely friendly and helpful but also respected our privacy. The pool was lovely; cold but this suited us very well as it was so refreshing in hot weather. Jacky cooked for us one evening and the meal was delightful with...

We had 2 weeks at Le Vieux Presbytere, staying in the smaller of the gites. The interior was tastefully decorated and very well-equiped with everything we needed. Our two daughters (6 and 8) slept on a pull out sofa bed in the lounge which worked for us. There is a small shower room - quite small, not much room for...

I stayed here last year with my four year old son for two weeks and we just had a fabulous time. Jackie and Richard are wonderful hosts and are very willing to assist you with any questions...

Situated next door to an ancient church, this used to be the lodgings for the clergymen. It's now the home of Richard and Jackie, an English couple who've renovated the buildings and created two self-catering gites and a double room with ensuite bath and wet room. We stayed in the latter for three nights, needing somewhere where we could just...

My wife and I recently returned from our third stay at 'le view presbytere' in the village of Noulens in the Gers Southwest France. Each time we have holidayed in France we have spent the first week checking out different regions of the South, but lovely as they are, we always feel we can thoroughly relax and unwind once we...
