Claire and Iain's little restaurant (we were the 4 of us that dinner plus an American couple) is lovingly and caringly decorated, with the kind of casual elegance which can only be had through the hard search for perfection. The food was hands down the best meal we had in Scotland. The wine list is growing and I shall look... More

We traveled for twelve days in the Scottish Highlands staying at some of the nicest hotels and and B&Bs, and the Coruisk House provided our most memorable stay. It was one of the nicest accommodations providing beautifully appointed rooms (best of all the beds during are travels) and wonderful meals and a truly beautiful location at a unique and beautiful... When booking our holiday on Skye, I checked which restaurants would suit our over fussy and high standards when it comes to fresh, local and brilliantly prepared ingredients (flavours enhanced rather than swamped) Sadly Michael Smith has left the three chimneys and it was only his good looks that lured me in that direction, Kinloch Lodge is fabulous in its... Loved the place. We stayed there for one night prior to hiking the next day. Claire is a great host and has a superb taste in design and food. She made sure our stay was enjoyable. Make sure you're going to Elgol to do some activity since there's truly nothing to do there and it is quite an isolated town.... More

We stayed for two night in Coruisk House for two nights in the course of a walking holiday in Skye. It was at a point at which my wife needed a bit of TLC, and this was exactly what Clare and Ian provided. Our bedroom had been put together with much care , and was a lovely place for a... More

Tiny - just 2 rooms and a small restaurant but sublime food and great comfort. Iain and Clare work very hard to give guests peace and relaxation. Apart from the room, there is also a cosy lounge with wood burner and a day bed to read and sleep on. Despite being well away from the city rush, good selection of... More

We'd stayed here before , albeit several years ago with different owners. We had a very pretty bedroom, and two good dinners of which the first was particularly delicious and probably the best food we ate on our trip. All round, a good stay with nice people. We expect that the sort of people who book hotels like this will... More

We splashed out and had one night of luxury at this beautiful restaurant with rooms. Definitely worth a visit, the food was the best we ate whilst visiting Skye. The room was beautiful and the decor was very elegant however I did think the price tag was high for the room.

My friend and I stayed one night at Coruisk House in October while touring through Skye. Clare greeted us upon our arrival and was friendly and welcoming. After talking with her one evening and the following morning, she almost felt like a friend, sharing stories. There are only two guest rooms at Coruisk and we booked both of them for... More

We stayed for just one night and Clare couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. We really had the most wonderful stay, the meal in the restaurant was of a very high standard indeed and the wine list was my idea of perfect. Coruisk is not your standard B&B experience, the owners have gone the extra mile to deliver something... More
