Stayed at Greenbank for 2 nights to attend a friends wedding and the room was big enough to hold the reception. I could have held a dance in the bathroom and although the shower (no bath) was on the small side, everything was clean and felt like home from home with toiletries provided. The breakfast was enough to keep me... More

I find this a difficult review to compose. Our last visit was ten years ago when the "cottage" or "bungalow" was in excellent condition. Then, as now, the washing/showering facilities for a wheelchair user were/are excellent. Our recent visit found said accommodation shabby, with a TV that was extraordinarily difficult to,operate. The weeds had grown up through the door mat... More

Spent three nights here with our kids and had a wonderful time. The bungalow was very clean and well equipped and the view was phenomenal. It is isolated, so it's very quiet and peaceful but easy to drive to all of the sites on Skye. Our only problem was that the wi-fi didn't work well. Beyond that, we highly recommend.

As a disabled traveller, finding suitable accomodation is a worry. I am not a wheelchair user but need crutches. Access to the bungalow and the shower and toilet were just what I needed. No struggling which has spoiled previous holidays in places that do not understand our needs. Aside from that, the bungalow is spotless and very comfortable with everything... More

I've been there in July. Cozy and clean place, stunning surroundings and views right out of the room window, very quiet. Hazel was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. I couldn't desire a better place to stay on Skye. I am keeping to recommend the place to my friends. Looking forward to travel around Skye with my growing daughter and will certainly... More

My husband, son & I stayed at Greenbank for 2 nights in late August. The proprietess, Hazel, could not have been more genial and welcoming. The accommodations are simple, but clean and comfortable. Most importantly to us, it was soooo quiet! We were in the room facing the back, with a large window overlooking a green expanse of long grass... More

We stayed at Greenbank for 3 nights on our recent trip to Skye, it's a lovely little cottage on the Waternish Peninsula. When we arrived and shown to our room we were amazed at the view, it was fantastic, especially the first morning we could see the mist lying over Dunvegan Head with the moon sitting high in the sky... This is a gem to find. The location is quiet, yet not far from an Inn serving good food and real ales. The views out to sea are breathtaking. The rooms are generous in size, wheelchair friendly and are spotless. We had the use of a lounge and a kitchen, although this is normally let as a self catering wing.... More

My family and I stayed one night. It was windy and damp but the VIEW! Wow. Both rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was superb and our hostess was able to recommend a brilliant pub for our dinner the night we arrived. The beds are quite fluffy and though it was chilly, everyone was wonderfully warm. The internet... More
