Our house is an intimate set for a small number of guests. You will find here a friendly, homely atmosphere, high standard of the rooms and a tasty and healthy cuisine.

Beautiful Things and a Passive-Aggressive Attitude

The guesthouse is placed in a charming village by a marsh filled with storks, cows, and mosquitos. While the settlement is mostly old wooden cottages, the 3sarny guesthouse is a complex of newly built houses pertaining the classicism of Polish traditional dworek. The place looks beautiful, with custom furniture and expensive equipment (two supersized LCDs, roomba robot vacuum, etc.). The landlady kept on reminding us how much she and her husband have invested in. A fork I dropped "might have damaged the tiles". Soon her remarks made us feel guilty for using the house. Especially, when our kids were climbing the sofas ("Could you not put your feet on the couch?"), bashing the screens with remote controls or drifting their toy-cars on the soft wooden surfaces. None of that came unnoticed. When my 14 months old son was crying around 8 a.m., and I tried to sooth him, she suggested her husband could take him for a "walk in the forest". Ridiculous as it sounded, there was a hidden message in it: pretending to be nice and polite on the surface, but underneath complaining we could wake the other guests up. We felt like visiting a strict distant family rather than a welcoming guesthouse. Unfortunately, the attention to expensive things didn't go with a professional attitude. During our week stay the rooms and bathrooms haven't been cleaned a single time, and since there was no cleaning equipment, they became quite dirty with no toilet paper nor soap. We were leaving the guesthouse after having a great time with our friends, but with mixed feelings. It all cleared when we were unexpectedly charged 150PLN for just using the grill. Bottom line: if you like ordnung, stiff conversations, and are into expensive furniture and top-notch home appliance 3sarny is the place for you. If you are looking for a warm, outgoing host, who lives in the heart of the forest for the love of the nature, you might get disappointed. PS. It's a cold review, so I'd like to admit that the landlord was the nicest of all the people we met in 3sarny, and if we spent more time with him, probably we'd have different opinion about the place. The breakfasts were very tasty, too.…

Thank you for your feedback. All comments are important to us. We analize them, draw conclusions and constantly improve, because we want our guest to feel good in our common home. The stay in our pension is based on agrotourism, which means that we share rooms in the house where we live together with our guest for some time. To make this time nice for all and comfortable stay we strive to take care of two simple rules. First of all we ask our guests to respect the peace of the other residents, secondly to take elementary care of the guest house equipment. These rules are very natural to our guests in general. To be honest, the situation in which we reminded about them happened for the first time. There was no bad will, especially no aggression. The cleaning issue is set in the simple rules accepted at booking time. It follows that we do not enter the occupied rooms, but we clean and replace the towels on request. Our guest house have very intimate and family character. We prefer to have direct contact with our guests and for such we always encourage you from the first moment we receive you. Too bad this time we weren’t able to communicate properly with each other. Thank you again for your comment. We take your comments to heart.
