On three long stays in this establishment 2018/2019/2020 for business and leisure, I first conclude that the staff have always been pleasant towards me, however the management must be more elegant and welcoming on the part a few gestures with his usual clientele. We were here just for 12 hours, before we transitioned to another resort. The resort was very beautiful, had several pools and daybeds available that people were not fighting for. The prices were very accessible and the amenities and the resort were great for what you pay for. The resort has a day club off property that we did not get a chance to go visit and 2 pools on the hotel property. The environment was just amazing with all the beautiful tropical trees that smelled divine. We got an all inclusive breakfast, which I thought needed a few more selections but was decent for the one day we were there. The staff was hospitable and helpful in getting us a taxi and helping us out. Would definitely recommend for those who are looking for a cheaper stay.
We agree with the other 5 star comments (and we soon speak to Management if we consider we are not getting value for money or 'as advertised'). We arrived at 23.00 hrs after 24 hours of travelling and the minute we got out of the taxi and walked into the 'open-air' Reception we felt 'at peace'. An amazing 'welcome' and then taken to our wonderful room - spacious, lovely veranda looking onto the gardens and pool, very comfortable bed. A good night's sleep followed by one of the most relaxing days I have had. Admittedly the hotel wasn't full (starting to be affected by the Coronavirus) - but it was just so pretty and peaceful. After a lovely breakfast with friendly service we spent hours on the comfortable loungers and in the wonderful pool with plenty of shade. Early in the evening when the sun was going down we had a wonderful couple of hours or so at the rooftop infinity pool with some really tasty food. Unfortunately the next 2 days we were out on trips so this was our only full day (we really regretted this) but we did make the most on our return late afternoons. Got back in time to spend an hour at the Beach Club (very lively) watching the sun set - would liked to have had a bit more time there. Staff - excellent, friendly and smartly dressed. Pools - excellent. Comfortable sunbeds and cabanas. Well kept gardens. (Cannot understand the January 2020 review saying outside area was 'poorly maintained'.) Excellent massage. We were really disappointed to leave and had 'withdrawal' symptoms when going to our next location and it took a day or two to adapt. Many thanks Chompoo, Aof, Saimai, Restaurant and Bar Staff and the 2 lovely ladies who gave us our excellent massages. We will definitely return when we come to Phuket again.…
During trying times the staff remained efficient, friendly and courteous (the onset of CV19) The restaurant, pools and general facilities were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The breakfast selection was excellent
Admittedly this was a Tripadeal jaunt, but the motel played music 'thump, thump' ALL day. Food and drinks quite expensive. Not able to walk to anywhere - no nearby facilities...it's a shuttle to the beach and the shops.
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, pool side room with access to semi private pool, great facilities. Gym is well appointed. The Spa treatments are reasonably priced and very good. We ate at the Restaurent most nights, the food was stunning would highly recommend. Definitely would stay here again if visiting Phuket.
Our first time visiting Thailand & obviously the hotel too. We would highly recommend anyone stay here. The hotel is amazing as are the staff. Hospitality is next to none, such beautiful people and nothing is any trouble. I’m a big believer that if you treat others with respect they will equally return the same. A big shout out to the food & beverage Manager & also to his staff members Moo & Balloon. My observation is that he leads by example. We will definitely return to this hotel 10/10 👍👍 Exceptionally clean too, great job 😃
This was our second stay at the Dream Hotel having stayed here in February 2019. I’m delighted to stay that it was just as amazing as the first time round. The ’Wow Factor’ still exists as you enter the complex and many of the staff remembered us from last year which made our holiday that extra special. We were warmly welcomed again by Air, Aum and Saimai and allocated another lovely pool view room. The rooms are still stylish and ultra modern and kept spotlessly clean. The hotel’s ambience remains sophisticated but very relaxed, perfect when you’ve been travelling nonstop for over 30 hours and are looking forward to a relaxing holiday. The breakfast quality and choice is still out of this world. We are real foodies and this would be a Michelin starred breakfast. From the exotic fresh fruit to the salads and the omelettes, noodle soups and Thai curries, everything is just delicious. It was lovely to see friendly faces in the restaurant too, Mai, Haan, Bobo, Group, and the other waitresses and chefs do a fantastic job. We went on several trips while staying here. The brochures at reception are a great help in choosing the right ones and the staff give great advice and will book the trips for you. We went on an island hopping trip by speedboat to the Similan islands as recommended by Mhee. It was a fantastic day out to a set of paradise islands, 70km off the coast, well worth the money and one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed 8 nights at the Dream Hotel. Special mention must also go to Pou, Mootoo, Aof and the Managers, Chris and Chris. We had such a brilliant holiday again and we were so sad when it came to an end. On the plus side, in less than a year we will return and we cannot wait.…
Stayed here one night at the end of our 2 week Thailand trip before heading out of Phuket airport. Hotel is very modern and clean, fantastic views. We ordered room service and the food was fantastic!! Breakfast was also good. Airport is about 20 min away.
Excellent hotel overall. Rooms were large modern and clean. Staff were friendly. Location was good although a moped or car is needed for trips to boar avenue etc. Food and drinks at the hotel like surrounding hotels is expensive. Beach club was handy for using the beach with good house music.
