This resort has to be in the top 3 in Phuket. Friendly and professional service was experienced. If your a 'foodie' then this resort is for you. We were disappointed we couldn't book the Michelin Star restaurant because they dont allow youngsters. Breakfast buffet was excellent. One of the best I've ever had compared to other high end hotels Ive stayed at. The villa was great and so were the views. My daughter loved the swimming lessons. Teacher was fantastic. Highly recommend
The 4 bedroom villa was fantastic with beautiful views and a huge swimming pool. Had most of our meals cooked by the Villa chef which was fantastic. The Villa host NOK made our stay even better. Nevertheless, the villa has a lot of frogs and mosquitoes.
This is our third visit in six months and everything is still as amazing as it was during our first two stays. Absolutely delighted to be back and to interact with all the team here, it’s like coming back to our second home. The BBQ buffet on the beach was outstanding with excellent live music and a memorable fire show. We were meant to go out, and must thank Khun Tor for helping us change our mind to join the buffet instead. We look forward to hopefully returning again very soon!
My family spent 7 nights in 3 hotels in Phuket. Trisara was the best among the three. Every touch point gave fantastic experience. I booked the hotel in a travel fair in Bangkok. Khun Mook and Khun Ron were very helpful and informative. The Line admin was super responsive on sending additional information I requested regarding travel rules entering Phuket as well as hotel's facilities for kids. The real Trisara experience started with the transfer of Volvo XC90 with super polite and friendly drivers. In the SUV fully equipped with a baby car seat, homemade granola bar and water, the driver acted as a local guide who can narrate about local attractions along the ride. Trisara has an interesting kids club. Facility-wise, it's not the best. But there're good range of both free and paid activities on demand. There's no schedule here (who needs it when you're on your holidays). Khun Nam and Khun Aim at kids club were fun and friendly. My 6YO didn't want to come home because he wanted to play Lego with the staff there. (Playing Lego with mom and dad obviously is not as fun as playing with p'Nam and p'Aim) The beach is home to hundreds of beautiful hermit crabs. The sand is fine although not powdery. The water is very clear that you can do snorkel diving right at the end of the jetty. There're free water sports to try but I didn't have time to do it. The room, ocean view pool villa, which is the highlight is super spacious. As there're big rocks near by the hotel beach, you can hear the wave crashing sound from the room. That sound was soothing to me. As I travelled with a 6YO kid and a 9 months baby, the hotel prepared milk bottle sanitizer and baby bathtub in addition to a big kid bed and a baby crib. The room has a lot of electricity outlets which all were installed power socket protectors to keep the little people safe. The cleanliness is one of the best I've experienced especially the pool.…
We love the pool in the villa so much the size and depth are practical and the view was beautiful, the room was spacious, clean and cozy, the service was exceptional! We had a really memorable stay!!!
Room is fantastic. Service is superb. I rate it as the best hotel so far. I highly recommend for the honeymoon and family trip. The shore is nice and clean. you can see the hermit crab and and the fish swimming in the sea. I look forward to go back there again if I have a chance.
We are just wrapping up another stay at Trisara. Everything remains in excellent condition - highest recommendation to make a visit. Ocean View Pool Villas and Ocean Front Pool Villas -- have been in both. They seem identical save for proximity to the ocean. Both are completely private with amazing views. On this stay, my partner stayed in a "Ocean View Pool Junior Suite" as an isolation room for the first night while waiting on Covid test results. These feel a bit small to us, with much much smaller pool, and the layout is not quite as nice. We suggest at least an Ocean View Pool Villa for the best Trisara experience. Trisara is only 15 minutes from the airport. Super private and secluded. No one bothers you, you can go the entire stay without seeing other people if you want, just bring a few clothes & take advantage of the great laundry service every day. Had 90-minute massage treatments every day; the spa here is excellent. You have a completely private, standalone villa within the spa area to yourself: private steam bath, shower, outdoor seating area, and treatment area for 1 or 2 people. Excellent service. Looking forward to coming back here as soon as possible. If you have been staying at Amanpuri (whether the hotel or the residences - we have done both), Trisara has a similar setup but easier to get to, more modern, we prefer it here. Staff is so friendly, casual, and looks after everyone with excellent service. If you like, you can use WhatsApp to communicate with the host team to coordinate everything during your stay: fast / easy / convenient for everyone.…
Trisara is the utmost luxury hotel for anyone could ask for. The service was beyond expected. The room was really spacious, clean and classy. Also, there were lots of activities for kids to enjoy during the stay. I and my family were really happy and enjoyed our stay at Trisara. We will surely go back to Trisara again.
We now know why everyone tells us that Trisara is the best place to stay in Phuket. We wish we could live here. All staff take great care of the guests. Excellent food in all restaurants such as Hideaway, Jampa and Pru. Once you arrive, there is no need to leave the resort
To summarise my review before going into the details, I really do like the property however it was not value for money, my experience did not meet the expectation of paying $2,200 per night for a mid category villa for 2. Perhaps, If you can get a better deal then you should absolutely consider it, in my case it was - high rate = high expectations. Location - (5 out of 5) This property is located only 20 minutes drive from the airport, in the unspoilt part of Phuket which feels like a paradise. It is truly a little sanctuary, surrounded by the vast mature garden and best sunset watching I have ever witnessed. It felt exclusive with a lot of privacy, which was one of the biggest highlights. It is the only place that has the private beach in Phuket and no trespassers. The beach however is tiny, and it is impossible to swim. There were many families with kids, we were unable to use swimming pool or beach facilities because it was a complete chaos! Kids running and screaming all the time, without masks - coughing almost into your face and smashing water everywhere. We spent all time in our villa, as it was impossible to relax in the common areas. Service - (2.5 out of 5) This was the biggest disappointment about this property. It is hard to rate because some one the staff were fantastic, but some were rude or poorly trained. I appreciate that Phuket was under lock down and perhaps staff was struggling getting back to work specially when serving a peak season of December; however there was a plenty moments that there were no excuses. Reservation lady was very rude and could not provide correct information for us to make the travel decision. She was pushing us to pay for the room without consideration that we might no be able to travel unless the paperwork is sorted out first. In fact, she provided us with the wrong advice on 2 occasions which compromised the paper process. She was rude, and talked over me without letting me or my partner to finish the sentence. We were close to choose a different hotel but another lady stepped in and saved the day. We were also advised that there will be a VIP meet and greed at the airport, however there was nobody so we made our way round through a very complex process. Concierge was not on the game, provided us with a restaurant recommendation that was nothing to what we requested (kind of spoiled our night). We then met a number of people who were sent to the same restaurant from our hotel which were also not happy, it is clear that there was some kind or arrangement. In general, I had to chase the concierge all the time as she was not very responsive or would forget things. Waiting stuff were dis coordinated, it was a typical scenario that within 10 minutes window we would be asked by 3 different people of what drinks or food we wanted to order, when the order was already placed. At some point it was becoming annoying as you are constantly troubled unnecessarily. The orders were taken wrong on a number of occasions, the service was slow overall. Again, not what you expect when you are paying $450 per dinner for 2 people - with couple of glasses of wine. Food 5/5 This was the best part, the food was one of the best I have ever tried. My big applause to the Chef and his team. We have been told by the friends that it was one of the bests on the island. However the choices are limited, there are only 2 restaurants, 2 are kind of combined together with seafood and Thai food; and one is a Micheline star. So you actually end up eating in the same restaurant every night, there is also nothing close around if you want to go out. Property 3.5/5 Property is nice but is run down and def needs an upgrade. Not what you would expect from $2,200 a night. The advantage is that you get your own villas with a large outdoor area and swimming pool which are beautiful. However you can tell that design looks very tired, corners and furniture are noticeably scuffed. Spa & Gym & Activities - 3.4/5 I tried two spa treatments with two different therapists. My concerns were not addressed which I spent 5 minutes explaining. Quality of the massage was very average. There were no innovative treatments. Also, the property has lacked activities, in this type of resort (I stayed in Yay Now Six Senses in the past), there are normally some yoga. meditation or healing activities. At Trisara all of that was outsourced and not well explained. Gym, was difficult to make an appointment.…
