We enjoyed our stay at this sprawling hillside resort and everything is dedicated to the high-end traveler. The property seems ideal for families and small groups that bring their own intimate group to enjoy themselves together as there are few opportunities to mix with other guests. We had read so much about the PRU restaurant that I confirmed our dinner reservation before I booked the hotel. PRU was really a one of kind experience and we were NOT disappointed. The mix of flavors and presentation was beyond fantastic. One of the best dining experiences we've ever had, and we have been to many around the world. I booked the Junior Pool Suite at the top of the property to save a little money and it was nice but next time I'd book the larger Pool Villa closer to the beach. The room was a bit bland but had a beautiful bathroom and the pool was too small to really get much out of it. The beach is not very attractive at low tide with a rocky bottom but their pool is really nice and perfect for lap swimming. We later stayed at the Surin Hotel and that beach there was ideal for swimming. Had a great time and would consider coming back.…
For a hotel with so many good review we were disappointed; there is a clear lack of maintenance (scratches across all furnitures, shower sealing, stains on sofa). Mattress was very very poor (had a look under the sheets and it was horrible) Very few personal in the beach/pool areas as well as in breakfast service. So they are quickly overwhelmed and it you can wait so long for a bottle of water. Menu for breakfast is limited m. Clear issue with mousquetons - you will get beaten as they are everywhere (even in the breakfast buffet). Personal is good but messy - why calling 100 of times for the buggy? Why calling by mistake at 8 am? Why waiting for the room to get ready while arrival has been confirmed 3 times in the last 1 month? Etc.
We stayed for four nights in an oceanview villa with private pool. Wow! The villa was well appointed, large, immaculate, and bathroom products were high quality. Nothing was too much to ask for. Hotel staff were always on hand to assist with anything. With the exception of one day, we did not leave the hotel. It was so wonderful! Breakfast and lunch at the deck restaurant were fine. Dinner was always a wonderful experience. We couldn’t swim at the beach - way too rocky (pretty to look at). We just enjoyed our private pool after realizing this. I would definitely love to go back.
After a 3 year absence, we finally made a trip back to Trisara and it was just as excellent as we remembered it - even with new management! The new GM Marc Denton is excellent! He was always around to talk to guests and check in on the experience. We had to move rooms the last day (late flight) and were moved to a beautiful suite where we could relax and enjoy the day. Christmas is always a busy time; however, we always felt taken care of and pampered. The resort has aged nicely and Phucket is getting more sophisticated with new restaurants with so many ex-pats moving there. We went to the spa multiple times and the experience was amazing. The treatments were always on time and the space is gorgeous. We ate most of our meals at the resort and the food is excellent - the view from the deck is spectacular! The breakfast is fine; however, the brunch is amazing- so many choices! One person in our party left a rather expensive watch in the safe and we feared the worst- not only did Mark locate the watch, he and his team worked for weeks to help return the watch. No small feat from Thailand to the states with multiple forms and customs to deal with- but he got it done! I highly recommend this resort and plan on returning again without hesitation. The resort does a great job of allowing a time to relax and rejuvenate- I read a lot and enjoyed the plunge pool and deck area of our suite. …
Unlike many of the hotels and resorts on this island Trisara is snuggled away from the crowds and noise. The accommodations and the staff are top notch. Even the smallest villa was hardly small. The only downside is that the villas are spread out on a hill and a certain amount of walking is required unless one opts for transport by golf cart. There are several different restaurants with both indoor and outdoor capability. All of the staff that I encountered were terrific, friendly and helpful. One couldn't ask for more!
This is our first time in Phuket but we visited many five stars resorts across the world. Trisara ranks high in the list. Great service, amazing lush and very spacious rooms with magical views. Service in particular stands out that you feel the hotel is customizing a tailored experience for you. The breakfast is great with very high quality ingredients yet average variety. The plants and trees around the resort are assorted in a way thats makes it like a heaven on earth. I tried the Jara Spa and was great yet expensive than others outside the resort as you can imagine. Also, tried 5 sessions of tennis with Lek and he is a good coach who can get your skills up here or there. Overall, I highly recommend Trisara if you want to spend long time at resort rather than the city.
This is our 2nd stay here which was just as excellent as our first stay. Villa are very big and spacious with outdoor shower . The villas are the best in Phuket and very private . Food is excellent as many people have reviewed already. Service is excellent . All staff very friendly and helpful . The beach is rocky when the sea goes down but in the morning the sea is high so there is no problem to swim in the sea . Your child will love the kids club . I swim in the sea in the morning and feel like this is paradise on earth
Our stay at Trisara was made great by the incredible team. Den, the general manager was charming and offered his assistance should we need anything. He invited us to the resorts anniversary cocktail party on the beach which was lovely event. Fluke was an amazing bar tender at the beach bar. He kept our glasses and our bellies full. Thank you, Fluke. Aek and Jhan, thank you for the first aid after our incident on the coral. I have a small scar on my knee as a souvenir of my time in Thailand and it will always remind me of your amazing country. We should have listened to reason but kayaking on the Andaman Sea was too enticing to pass up. Jhan, thank you for the attempt to find my sunglasses. You are a true gentleman. I hope not to offend anyone by excluding them from my review but I want to give a shout out to these beautiful souls: Tor, Sylvain, Tak, Black, Sunny, Jacky, Meena, Kate, Bow, Jang, Ball, Beer, Bas and Pepsi. The entire team at Trisara will make your stay extra special. Thank you.…
[Whatever customer wants is done in Trisara] Trisara is the best resort in Phuket. I was able to spend a great vacation with my mom in Trisara with the care of the staff. Thanks to Nimi who is the manager in restaurant during daytime and MIld who works in concierge!!
Wow! Trisara is so beautiful and so well maintained with each villa hidden amongst the trees and foliage. We stayed in an ocean view villa and couldn’t have been happier. Our Villa was large, spotless, with lots of windows to enjoy views of our large private pool and the ocean below. Sleeping at night and hearing the waves roll in was so peaceful. The staff was so wonderful, courteous and helpful. Special thanks to housekeeping for such such a wonderful job done. The food was excellent and our private pool at our villa was just awesome. We loved it!
