This is a very individual and special boutique hotel...we absolutely loved it ..with just 10 rooms the attention to detail is so well done... understated style with abundant content.. superbly attentive staff, lovely breakfasts..with a bespoke kitchen on site they also turn out some absolutely wonderful evening meals ...it all deserves 5 stars and more...well done to all

Booked to stay a week here to celebrate my wife's 50th bitrthday. On the whole we had a nice time and loved Phuket, but we thought hotel stay doesn't live up to expectations. Be careful when choosing your room as not all the rooms have the same features as the photos on the website. The hotel did move us after a few days but the first impression and feeling of the hotel was disappointing. Also, we were not told about the hotel shuttle service and had to walk to and from the beach for the first few days. Doesn't sound a big deal but the hotel is literally located on the top of a steep hill. Again, lack of communication and attention to detail from a hotel that is supposed to be exclusive and a boutique hotel. Breakfast was also very bland and overpriced. You are much better eating at any of the beach side food stalls. We also had a in-house massage which was very over-rated and over-priced. The hotel charged us $40 AUD to organise. My advice would be to have a massage on the beach and support the local people and not the profiteering of the hotel. On a positive though, the staff are all beautiful and are willing to help out. The views from the hotel are also magnificent and the pool is amazing. I have also read many reviews and have noticed the Catherine responds to all the positive comments but does not seem to want to address any of the negative comments. I also emailed the resort to discuss these issues so they can improve for the benefit of other guests prior to posting anything on social media but I got no response. Regards

Booked the stay via Expedia which named it as Villa. Needless to say, was taken aback when we were led to a room instead. Breakfast had no variety. It’s basically just eggs, bakery, two kinds of cold cuts and yogurt - everyday. We had it for 2 out of 3 days. Location is really inconvenient. Be prepared to rent a car if you do not want to follow their shuttle service schedule. Lots of stairs in the house (Yes, I said house - with the owner’s face everywhere. Back of room service menu, back of spa menu and photo frames within the property) and it’s really dark in the property too as a lot of lights were not on during the day. Service was good though. We ordered room service at 9.30pm on the first day (during check in , we were told that it ends at 10pm) and were told that chef had gone home. But they insisted that they will call the chef back to cook although we said it’s fine. If you like to hang out at the balcony a lot (like us), don’t take Room 2. The balcony is side by side with the next room (Room 1). Conversations can be heard very clearly if both balconies are being used at the same time.

We stayed here for altogether 4 days, and Nanzy the manager was soooo sweet and kind and arranged for us to go on a boat tour. We had so much fun! She was so kind and remembered our names. I am definitely coming back next time I’m in Thailand!!
