Bonvoy top tier traveling with family of 5 aged 6, 3 and 9 months This Hotel was our first stop in Phuket after an extensive 19 hours trip from Frankfurt via Changi with an 10 hours stopover. Thanks to the local regulations we needed to get an overly expensive taxi service in order to meet the Test&Go sceme but that‘s nothing the hotel is to blame for. The bus was fine, the drive short and the welcome great although the only thing my wife and I had in mind was a bed as you know - kids tend to sleep on turns on a trip… 1) Facilities The Hotel is very well maintained compared to some others. The first 2 days we were on the 4th floor in a regular room where the elevator broke. They actually have. 3 or 4 elevators but only one for the 4th floor and it’s a bit annoying to walk the stairs with 2 kids, a toddler and his wagon. The Hotel fixed the lift within 30 minutes to an hour after reporting it. 6 Stars for that to be honest The hotel has 2 pools of which one is the major pool near the beach and the other next to the kid’s club. A big plus is that the children’s pool has shady areas as the main one does not and due to the sun it feels more like a hot tub. The Kid’s club is great and the staff is very nice and helpful. 2) Rooms The Standart rooms are great the Villas top that by several times as you have a lot more privacy, a private pool, more space etc. 3) Restaurants The breakfast was one of the best we ever had, fresh juice, ice cream, waffles etc. I compare that by the pancakes: If you take them away and they are still fresh the next day it’s a good one. Thai food was excellent, western food sure was good too but I skipped that. For Dinner there are two options: The Sandbox, a western styled one with burger and pizza, which we skipped besides french fries for the kids and a Thai one on top which looks great and tastes even better. reservation is needed though especially if you prefer to sit outside while watching the sunset. 4) Staff The staff is very polite and helpful. Kid’s club staff is great and the kids loved them. We will come back next time we visit Phuket for sure. The proximity to the airport and the quietness of the place makes it a great start for any visit

This is the second time I and my girlfriend have come to this resort in as little as two months, and I'm so unbelievably happy about the service. In Thailand, service is very difficult to come by, but because the service here is so tremendous, we had to come back. In the evening, Aommy and Eng, two of the ladies that assisted us with dinner in the breakfast hall, were so welcoming; not only two months ago, but this trip, too. Their level of consistency is unbelievable, and the poolboys are phenomenal, too! If I could give a recommendation, though, it's the women at the front desk. The male receptionists are great, but the women are not very friendly, don't say good morning, and have a very "Bangkok approach" to greeting people with not much enthusiasm. The first impression is the most important, so it's absolutely vital to have those types of personalities working reception. Nonetheless, amazing breakfast, dinner, and a superb gym!

Amazing resort in a peaceful location and surrounded by beautiful natural flora. Facilities are 5 star and the staff were very attentive to servicing guests above expectations. I stayed in a pool villa which was magic. The room was extremely clean, modern and the plunge pool was a bonus to help cool down when needed. The facilities were first class. The restaurants offered delicious meals and you must try the iconic restaurant Takieng for off this planet Thai cuisine.

Friendly staff, several amenities and restaurants on site. Stayed here prior to flight home. Convention was being held at the resort so it was quite busy. Enjoyed eating at the Thai oceanfront restaurant. My first room was clean, large and well laid out. Unfortunately had some issues with noise from the adjacent elevator. Staff immediately handled the situation and moved me to a different room. Staff were very gracious and helpful. This experience really made all of the difference in my stay at this resort.

Welcome back! We have regularly visited this hotel pre covid and we wondered after 2+ years if they could meet their pre covid levels for amazing hospitality and service. We shouldn’t have worried. The staff, the food, the service and the warmth were all there like they never missed a beat. The thing we really love about this hotel is seeing the management team on the floor, in the restaurants working with their team and spending time talking to the guests. Congratulations to Brad, Jacob, Kate and their wonderful team. I would say that the food is the highlight of our stay but overall the incredible service is what brings us back every time We can’t fault this hotel and we plan to be back again soon. Thank you for your hospitality you showed our family - Paul, Marina & Seth

We have been waiting desperately to come back to Thailand but didn't want to spend our precious vacation time in quarantine. So as soon as the Test & Go programme to Phuket was announced we booked straight away. Getting here was pretty easy although the paperwork prior to departure from was a little onerous. We are so happy to be back and the team at Renaissance Phuket are clearly excited and delighted to see visitors return. The property is set in gardens that are immaculately maintained but give you a sense they have been here for a very long time. Many of the common areas and children's pool are well shaded which makes all the difference in making the whole resort enjoyable all through the day. The property is set on an idyllic beach and apart from neighboring hotels creating a natural and peaceful beachfront oasis. Sunsets in the ocean are spectacular and the main restaurant takes full advantage with all glass walls providing brilliant views for all dinners. Breakfast is brilliant as we have come to expect from Marriott across Thailand. The Renaissance Phuket is one of the best and although the variety may not be as quite as large of some of the much bigger resorts it's still very good and the quality top class. Khun Seng's egg Benedict is a true signature Breakfast dish and one I couldn't resist every day of our stay. The standout that sets this hotel apart from many others is the exceptional high standard of service. Super attentive service with staff seemingly anticipating every need in a friendly and relaxed way. Whether you plan on a quick breakfast to get going on an activity or a long relaxed multi- hour breakfast/brunch the staff are happy to accommodate and make the experience a highlight of each day. Robin, Kate and the whole team really go out their way to make every interaction with guests a positive one. The kids loved the kids club activities and spending many hours making new friends in the kids pool area. This area is brilliant for kids with a waterpark for infants and a waterslide and slightly deeper areas for bigger kids. Set in a mature "Jungle like garden" and well shaded throughout the day this is a brilliant place for families to spend plenty of time relaxing and cooling off. For the bigger kids happy hour cocktails served around or in the pool from 3-5pm are a perfect way to unwind at the end of a stressless day. Always served with a smile by Khun Sek. Khun Golf's Thai boxing class also a lot of fun. Thanks also to Khun Dang and the other housekeepers that kept our Villa looking luxurious despite our 2 kids best efforts to make it look like their bedroom floor at home. We were lucky enough to be upgraded from a standard room to a Villa for most of our stay and a 1 bedroom suite for a couple of nights. These are really special rooms and made our experience very special. The Villas in particular are a great place to spend time together in a very private luxurious setting. A note for those reading this that are skeptical of loyalty programs and large chain hotels or brands in general. I'm also pretty skeptical by nature and in no way compensated by Marriott (except as any other loyal customer thats a member of Bonvoy) We made a decision some years ago when we started to experience the benefits of status with Marriott to try to stay with Marriott where possible. We've sometimes limited our options a bit and passed up some great one-off deals with other chains. But Marriott Bonvoy is one loyalty program that has really rewarded us in return. We haven't stayed outside of a Marriott Hotel in some years because even if we don't get upgraded we always get looked after. Marriott has a great culture of looking after their staff and the communities in which they operate. This translates to looking after their customers. This is a real example where a great corporate culture results in a strong and profitable business that looks after their people and delivers a great value product and customer experience. They have passed the pandemic test in strong form putting people before profits. This isn't something that's advertised but if like me you ask. You'll find out that they have continued to pay staff and run at significant losses over the last few years and helped the community where they can. They've also looked after loyal customers by retaining status levels and not reducing benefits despite low travel and spend volumes. Airlines that have consistently eroded their loyalty programs could learn a lot from Marriott. Back to the Renaissance Phuket which reinforced the consistently brilliant experience we have with Marriott. It's one of the best we have stayed with. Great Hotel - Brilliant staff! We will definitely be back whenever we come to Phuket.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Our experiences are consistently outstanding here. We like the pool, lawn, and beach. The beachside restaurant is such a pleasant place to relax. The smoker specials were delicious and a nice change of pace from Thai food. The hotel was full for Thai New Year. The staff was very busy, but never missed a beat. We often wondered if the staff ever leaves the hotel! They are always present. Kate was so helpful in making dinner reservations and managing our lunch and dinner plans…she was always so pleasant. Khun Seang’s eggs Benedict are our favorite. Khun Pond, Khun Poo have great memories and were so helpful at breakfast. Khun R and Robin were constantly helpful at the beach restaurant. We loved our last dinner with Khun Ammy at the restaurant upstairs. Jacob, the chef was always around and greeted us each morning. The breakfast at this hotel is our favorite in Thailand. The quality of the food and the beautiful pond are memorable. Thanks for another fantastic stay. Brad and his team are wonderful. This hotel remains a family favorite.

The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The resort is easy to navigate and there are plenty of amenities. The staff are excellent and really look after the guests. The hotel is a bit isolated from other places nearby and I would recommend having a hire car or driver if you want to explore further afield.

I love staying at Renaissance Phuket. The hotel is very beautiful and surrounded with lots of nature. Seeing the sunset from the hotel is one of my favorite things to do in the afternoon. Just need to make sure it is not a cloudy day, then all is great. Other than that, the service here is great. I had fantastic service from all the helpful staff. The staff always came with a friendly smile and greeted us every morning cheerfully. They work their best to serve all the clients. Overall, I had an exceptional experience here!
