We stayed two nights at the hotel, in August. We were very well received, the room was ultra quiet, the restaurant were very tasty. In the daytime visitors can walk anywhere in the mountains, or follow well-indicated trails down to Ventron. For a change, please try the neighbouring restaurant and terrasse. We felt sorry to leave this nice place....

What can I say. The location is the big seller for this place. On top of the mountain, neat drive up to the hotel, just the right thing for our motorbike trip. Clean room with a lovely view. The half board option is defenitely a good deal. Since the hotel is right across from the slopes, I guess it might...

We stayed at Hotel les Buttes in early July for one night. Our room was on the first floor and was a generous size, complete with a balcony facing the ski slope. The hotel is close to the top of the valley, so if you head out through the trees, you get great views of the Vosges area, and there's...

Very nice hotel, in the middle of the Vosges, in the iddle of nature. Rooms are cozy and the hotel is decorated in wood, alpine-style. Food is very nice, but for having nice wine count on those over 50€ the bottle. Also, if you want to have lunch or dinner next to the windows, better reserve! Very friendly staff.

Ski slope is right in front of the hotel. Great for treking as well. The hotel is nice and the staff friendly. Suitable for bigger children too as there is a small indoor pool. The food was very tasty.

We visited on the way south and were charmed by the location peacefulness and overall relaxation provided by this hidden mountain top treasure. The catering is excellent and very well presented and served, and the petit dejuner enough to last all day!

Beautiful location, amazing surroundings, lovely room, unfortunately average food in restaurant, and staff especially in restaurant (apart of reception desk) who can not speak English in 4 Star hotel very disappointed.

Hotel des Buttes was a delightful place to spend a long weekend. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the hotel has a charming, cosy atmosphere. One minor caution is that the hotel is a little remote and dining options other than the hotel seemed to be limited. The restaurant was good but pricy with limited kids' options.
