Ses Fotges Aparthotel garners appreciation for its engaging atmosphere, including entertainment that wraps up at a reasonable hour and family-friendly amenities like the mini disco. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with guests consistently commending the spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas. The hotel's proximity to the beach and the convenience of room balconies with sea views are popular among guests, though some suggest the kitchen facilities could use enhancements. While the spacious rooms are generally well-received, a few visitors have noted issues with sofa beds and the occasional ant.
The staff's friendly and helpful service is frequently highlighted, contributing to the hotel's pleasant ambiance. Travelers find the hotel offers a good value for its amenities, although opinions on this aspect are mixed. The prime beachfront location is a highlight, with easy access to the sea and nearby attractions.

Detailed Reviews
Where do I start.Arrival.Professional young receptionist helped with our check in and questions, which included Free breakfast ×4 for a day of our choosing, nice touch.
Breakfast was more than enough with a great selection of hot and cold fresh food and drinks.Waiting staff were attentive ,courteous and very helpful.
Our reservation was for room only so no other food experience.
We booked the hotel as it offers beachfront and for that reason we didn't use the swimming pool facilities. However noticed on the way to the beach that the area was properly cleaned every morning.
We had a recently modernised room with partial seafront view which was a bonus. The room was large and functional. However traveling with 2teens,we would book a 2 bedroom unit next time.
Playa de muro beach is one the best I have experienced in Europe and I understand the attraction, best to experience for yourselves.
On our last day we enquired if possible on later check out, again reception staff very helpful but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked but they allowed us a little extra time.
My only problem is not with the hotel but with the local taxi service. Please be advised that ordering in prime time through the summer season is difficult, with the exception of airport service.Taxi ×4 is more cost effective than the bus.
Great family holiday in relaxed beachfront property with modernised large hotel room.
Best wishes for the remainder of Summer season 2021.

for a 3 star hotel this was pretty good, first off the staff were amazing always there and always ready to help, we got on so well with Aime and Hamzer we are now facebook friends, Fernando the owner was also fliting around and we had a couple of chats with him. while the hotel was not new it was kept clean and clean towels every day even. eating area was clean and bright, for our family the food was nice bit of variety with the occasional local dish, very well cooked so seconds were always on the cards.. Nice sand (beach) bar with snacks right next to the beach, the biggest plus as there were no roads to cross no buses to catch, just walk onto the beach.. sunbeds on the beach were a bit pricey, so we used the pool beds (plenty) and walked to the beach stopping for a hot chocolate on the way. overall a great holiday enjoyed by all..

If you love the beach you could not wish for a better location as the hotel steps straight onto a lovely well kept beach. Playa de Muro.
The hotel is very clean inside and out. All credit to the cleaning staff that work very hard.
The pools were cold as you would expect at the end of October but the sea was warm enough to swim in still. There was still water sports and boat trips from the beach but the season was ending while we were here.
The reception staff and management could not be any more helpful. Even though our Holiday Company never even let them know we were coming, they told us not to worry and sorted us out from the first minute until the last. We are so grateful to them.
If I had to criticise anything it would be the food, but only the lack of choice. I feel harsh saying this too because they were only catering for a few. And its usually the same wherever you go on All Inc.
The drinks were good quality.
The entertainment for the kids was great and Gloria was brilliant with them.
I would definitely come back for a nice relaxed break.

We have stayed before and enjoyed the hotel
This time as it was early in the season the room was very well priced so writing the review has been difficult
I would honestly have given 1 star but because we didn’t pay that much I’ve given 3.
The room was clean as is the hotel but very shabby , big holes in the frames of the patio doors so my first purchase was mosquito spray (and there are loads in this part of Majorca )
Unfortunately we were also right beside the lift so every time someone used it our room shook and a loud clanging happened. The noise of the lift eased off after 11 but started again around 7 when the maids came on
Had we been here for longer than 5 days I would have moved
Overall the hotel is in an excellent location , is very clean and has a good pool area - the islands best ice cream shop is right next door
I would come again but would request a refurbished room away from the lift. As a returning guest I would have expected more, as has been received in many other hotels

We booked a last minute self catering stay for 3 days. We had requested a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment due to having a toddler with us. we were happily surprised that this request was honored even at the late stage of our booking. we were also happily surprised that our room had been recently renovated. The kitchenette is small and lacking of utensils, if you want a kettle you need to ask reception and pay 20Euro deposit.
The pool was clean, and our son thoroughly enjoyed the good size of the kids pool (generally these are tiny!!) The kids evening entertainment is basically non existent, we had just come from a hotel which had a full production so he was disappointed.
We didn't dine at the restaurant so cannot comment.
One major downside was the amount of bugs in our room, we must have removed at least 10 every morning. I had noticed there was a large gap under the main door to our apartment and had to block it each night with a towel. This helped during the evenings but during the day we had the same amount again o remove before going to bed! we raised at reception to be told that's always an issue with being close to the beach...although we had just come from a hotel with a similar sett up close to the same beach and didn't have any issues. If the gaps below the doors were rectified I think this would dramatically reduce the number getting into the rooms!
The location is very central with lots of well reviewed restaurants on the doorstep. although it is loud being on the main strip but generally gets quieter around 10.30pm.
Happy enough with our stay, the hotel could do with some renovations in some parts but it was good value for our short stay.

Our family of four (two primary age children) had an excellent 10 days here in June. Perfect location - it literally backs onto the beach so you can enjoy the sea etc and 60 seconds later be back by the pool, so handy for getting a drink or leaving your stuff somewhere safe. Staff lovely, couldn't be more helpful. One tip (nothing to do with the hotel itself) would be not to use nearby cash machines, as they charge fee for withdrawal plus large commission on currency conversion. Definitely hope to return.

Absolutely stunning location, right on the beach
We had room 401 with the most beautiful view , the room was clean and nice with good air con we let the kids sleep in the bedroom and used to sofa beds in living room which I found the mattress hard but my partner loved it
Staff are lovely and smiley cleaners do a good job
Food was delicious , I could of done with a few more cake options but the hotel is small so this is understandable
We were all inclusive , ice creams are help yourself beside the snack bar own brand cornettos , magnum, feast and are very nice , coke is proper stuff .. what I didn’t like was if your all inclusive you get a option of about 6 things at snack bar .. fries , toasties , chocolate wrap and they are cheaply done not very nice but paying customers can choose from a massive menu and it all looks delicious.. the way I see it is because I’ve paid all inclusive which was a lot I should be able to choose from that menu too I’ve just basically paid up front for it .
We took a day trip with tui who we weren’t booked with but could still do the trips , we done the island tour which was amazing and I would definitely recommend… my son has mobility issues and this was fine for him not much walking involved
Pool was packed most the time and could do with a few features in to make it more fun but with the beautiful beach just there it didn’t really matter
The sea could become quite wavy which we loved and had lots of fun jumping the waves
Overall this is a lovely hotel and I would definitely return

What a holiday. Inolvidable, excelente, fenomenal!
We were greeted daily by the sound of the sea washing on the shore. The pool was also a welcome sight beneath; alive every morning with the happy sounds of other hotel guests. The staff truly mirrored the energy of the guests: constantly polite, friendly and funny(Manuel in particular!) they never disappointed. They work incredibly hard and really seem to enjoy their job which definitely makes a difference in improving the experience. The cleaners worked tirelessly to keep the place in its perfect sparkling costume daily.
The room was perfect for us. As a family it was well suited due to the twin bedroom which, at most hotels, is hard to come by. The apartment was always a pleasant refuge to retire to after a day sweltering in the hot Spanish sun (with excellent air-con). Yes, the rooms are not 5* hotel standard but they definitely don’t under offer. The room, mimicking the rest of the hotel, was extremely clean. Had an issue with the a leaky shower above our room; this was resolved quickly.
The food and kitchen team were again fab. The team providing a huge variety on the all inclusive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The trays were constantly restocked. I think our entire party believed that it was worthwhile doing all inclusive : The team were so accommodating. They prepared food ready for us at 5.30am so that we could catch our bus to the airport.
The location, with its close proximity to the sea, was handy; we could alternate between swims in the pool and swims in the sea. Whilst the location was beautiful, transport was tricky out of and back to the hotel. The bus services are extremely busy and taxis rarely arrive within 30 mins or never get to you. The best thing to do is to book through reception we found. The beach at the front of the hotel, however, is not ideal for those with young children as the sea( the ambivalent beast it is) can create large waves.
Overall a refreshing, joyous family holiday complete.

Stayed here for 10 days self catering, paid for sea view room (side sea view really). I've been to many hotels both s/c and inclusive, this hotel is not a 4 star, it would be a 2 star at best. This was my 1st time in Alcudia so maybe this is the standard but on main land Spain and Canaries which I frequent often, the standard is alot higher.
Pro's
Beside the beach but it's very crowed and thin, you literally have to walk over ppl and kids to walk along sea front. The beach up by Port is a million times better.
Mattress was good
Power from shower good
Views good
Pool area nice
Bar staff nice
Con's
Hotel is very old and needs updating
Air con turns on and blows out warm air and smells
Bathroom is tiny and again very old, doors of shower don't close over properly, thy also come off the tracks
You can hear everything next door through vents in bathroom, including smells, disgusting.
S/C utensils are very poor, no toaster at all, you need to rent the kettle from reception (had to ask for it a couple of times), no oven and hardly ant work space.
You can only change pool towels twice a wk which we were not told about at reception.
Reception staff are rarely at counter, you have to say/shout 'Ola' so someone comes out. And in general they were not very pleasant.
Not much to pick from in regard to restaurants in the area. Supermarkets across the road.
I personally would not return for the price we paid.
If we ever come back to Alcudia we would stay by the Port area, alot nicer beach and more space. More restaurants and shops etc.
Bus 324 takes you to Port, use your bank card to tap on/off, its €1.80. Wear a face mask.
Old town Alcudia is very nice to walk around.
Sun loungers on beach are the most expensive I've ever paid anywhere, €14.25 for 2 beds n umbrella.
Price from airport to hotel was €83, evening time.

After lots of hotel research we choose Ses Fotges because of its proximity to the beach and the option to have a swim up apartment with a bit of outdoor space.
We were really happy with the choice. The beach is literally next to the hotel and is great for kids with warm shallow water quite a way out. The bit of beach right next to the hotel is busy but you can walk for ages either way along the beach to find quieter spots.
The swim up apartment was a winner for us as it meant we had a bit more space outside and our kids (7 & 11) could be in the pool at anytime without us all having to head to the main pool. Both the swim up and main pools were cold but once you were in it’s fine. The pool/beach towels were free and could be changed three times in the week we were there.
We went for the bed and breakfast option and the breakfast was great, loads of choice and all tasty and fresh. There are lots of restaurants along the road outside the hotel so you’re spoilt for choice if you’re not eating at the hotel all the time. Our room had a small kitchen area which meant we could make packed lunches and have some basics in the apartment. The only real downside for us was the kitchen amenities as it was missing things like a cloth to wash up with and a kettle so we had to boil water in a pan on the hob.
The layout of the apartment was great, the bedroom was large and although it’s not ideal to sleep in the lounge the sofa beds were comfy and the rooms were dark and quiet enough at night. We were in room 115 which was at the far end of the block facing the pools. If you were in rooms closer to the main pool/bar area it would probably be noisy until around 11 at the latest, but not rowdy noisy!
There was a large bathroom and then another room with sinks and more storage so plenty of space.
We had a car for the week so went and explored the north of the island which was beautiful and there is so much to do. The weather was warm most days and even when overcast you could still be in the sea and be wearing shorts/sandals. Would highly recommend the area and the hotel 😊
We were really happy with the choice. The beach is literally next to the hotel and is great for kids with warm shallow water quite a way out. The bit of beach right next to the hotel is busy but you can walk for ages either way along the beach to find quieter spots.

Oh ya, this shouldn't be an issue. There is a pool bar that does snack foods that they put in to-go containers that are perfect for the beach (sandwiches, crepes, fries, wraps). I don't know if you can from the main restaurant though as it isn't close to the beach and they only have glass plates (no glass allowed at pool and beach).
We were room 302 and it was perfect - great views! 2nd floor may not have as great of views as it's lower and not as clear view.
Yes there is a pay per use laundry
