Nestled close to the stunning Playa de Muro beach, Zafiro Bahía is celebrated for its family-friendly atmosphere and modern, well-maintained spaces. While some guests have mixed feelings about the evening entertainment and value, the spacious rooms and variety of amenities, including pools and beach access, are often praised. Despite occasional reports of slow service and room cleanliness issues, many visitors appreciate the hotel's cleanliness and the friendly, helpful staff. However, travelers looking for city nightlife may find the location a bit secluded.

We tried a different hotel chain from our usual choice of Iberostar and we weren't disappointed... We chose this hotel due to the proximity of the beach literally on the doorstep and the choice of pools.
We upgraded our room on arrival and were given a lovely spacious room facing the pool, nice walk in shower, very big room and huge balcony.
The food choice in the buffet restaurant was really good, plenty for everyone even our 2 fussy kids. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly keeping the food stocked up and tables clean. Didn't eat in the poolside restaurant through the day but used our one sitting per week with our All Inclusive. It was just OK... bit of a change nothing special we didn't feel. Breakfast again plenty of choice, nice food.
I found the constant tapping of the all inclusive bracelet a bit tiresome after a while surely just the fact your wearing one should suffice. My biggest gripe though was the queue length at the poolside bar at some points it can be quite long due to the cocktail making of guests possibly a self serve beer tap could be available or alternatively more bar staff. That said the staff were very friendly and worked really hard all day attending to guests every request.
Our kids loved the pools especially the giant ball but they equally enjoyed the pool with the slides and the pool with whirlpools.
My son played football a couple of times and crazy golf and both these areas are in need of a little refurb. My little girl attended the kids club and absolutely loved it as well as the kids mini disco in the pool.
The evening entertainment was very hit and miss if I'm honest more miss than hit but it passes the time and the bar staff keep the drinks coming with table service.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Zafiro Bahia and would both recommend and return

We have just finished our weeks stay half board. The hotel is lovely, spacious and clean rooms. We had a private pool room number 1004 which got the sun all day (when it came out) and it was in perfect location for pool, restaurants and the beach.
Only downside is you pay a lot extra for the private pool & can’t use it as they are absolutely freezing cold.
Our parents had a top floor room with hot tub which felt a-lot more dated and less looked after than our room. The hot tub didn’t stay very warm and was a bit run down.
The kids club staff are incredible a big thanks to Sebastian for putting on football every day for my son and all the eager football kids.
Thanks to Philipa & Lisa for always being so attentive to our two children. The whole team work all day keeping the kids entertained and always have smiles on their faces.
The buffet restaurant had great choice & always tasted fresh.
A couple of negatives would be the pool temperatures in all pools, they really are unusable as they are ice cold. Such a shame when we have a little boy who has been dying to swim all holiday.
Also being charged for a travel cot I think is unfair when booking a holiday for a family this should not be an extra cost in my opinion the rooms should accommodate what you have booked.
The area around the hotel is quiet a few restaurants in walking distance. If you walk a bit further(about 20 mins) you will find a busier area with more shops, bars & restaurants which were nice.
Overall for our first stay in a Zafiro hotel we are really pleased and have already booked to go to a different Zafiro in May.

We are just home from an 11 night stay at Zafiro Bahia. We were in block 3 with a private pool - this was excellent. We were close to all the amenities and had some privacy. The pool was the highlight of our accommodation but the apartment itself was also spacious and clean and comfortable.
The all inclusive was excellent. I especially loved the bistro for lunch and had good gluten free options for me. Staff were friendly. Adult only section has amazing views and we were lucky to get some time there individually. My daughter participated in some of the kids activities which was also good.
The only problem I had was the very busy buffet. During covid, I expected the food to be served by staff and staggered times for guests. Hand sanitising should have been enforced at the door to the buffet as well as the one way system. It was a “free for all” and at times I felt very uncomfortable with number of people, lack of social distancing and multiple handling of the serving ware. Whilst I would definitely go back to the hotel and it’s close proximity to a gorgeous beach, Playa de Muro resort itself is disappointing. We often went to Port of Alcudia or old town for dinner for variety and change of scenery which is a short taxi ride away. My son lost his previous blue teddy and I am disappointed that the hotel has not responded to my emails to check lost property since we returned home. All in all though a good hotel and a good holiday.

The Zafiro Bahia was an outstanding venue for our summer escape (visited August 2021).

The main swimming space was cleaned daily, and felt atmospheric with the palm trees and views of the Mediterranean. The main pools do get busy, but the adult-only infinity pool was a great escape.

In addition to the pools, the beach (Playa de Muro) is less than 100 metres walk away, which does get busy - but offered a warm, calm sea which was ideal for paddle boarders. Equally the beach is wonderful for early morning / sunset walks.

The room could maybe have done with a little TLC in places (in the shower for example), but overall it was comfortable, clean and cool (effective, but quiet air con).

The buffet was excellent, lots of choice which rotated daily. We particularly enjoyed the themed Asian cuisine nights. You will not go hungry!

We would not hesitate to stay again.

We spent a week during the Easter school holidays. 2 adults and kids aged 6 and 8. All inclusive. Our sea view room had superb views as described. Kids were happy the entire time: food choices at the bistro and buffet, pools, kids clubs activities. We were also happy with the convenience of all inclusive. the drinks/cocktails were great, the wine/cava during lunch and dinner. the food selection at breakfast lunch and dinner buffets were good, including themed nights. Not gourmet but certainly good variety. The pools were great however were very cold as they were not heated at all. Our 1 bed suite was fine for the 4 of us. the sofa int he livign room converted into beds for the kids. the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. pool towels were available daily for beach and pool, changed every Monday Wednesday and Friday. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby for convenience and also a pharmacy. there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away which goes to Alcudia, Palma etc. very convenient. The beach is spectacular wtih fine white sand and turquoise blue waters. Definitely would come back again...maybe when it is more warm!

Check in was good the lady we had spoke good English room was ready on arrival which was a bonus.
Hotel Room- we had a room on the first floor is was a disabled room which we did not mind as we were only staying a few nights, room was clean and spacious it was overlooking the tennis courts so it was quiet, the only slight issue we had was the shower it was like standing on a grid rocking about and it had a horrible smell and the sinks the plugs did not work wasting water, beds were comfy and big plenty of storage space, large balcony.
Pools were great plenty to choose from and different depths the kids loved the inflatable in the main pool the lifeguards were always there and attentive making sure kids were sensible, getting a sunbed was no problem no flip flop run in a morning it was annoying when people left there towels all day and took up 4 beds, bit more difficult if you wanted one of the actual beds need to get up earlier for one of those.
Dining, drinks and food, we were all inclusive and felt we had a good choice available, food was lovely and the chefs always say hello and worked hard, dining hall was kept clean no stacking of dirty plates, we ate at the beach bar as well food was also good, i do not think the staff speak much english but this was ok.
Entertainment to be honest we did not see much of this but what we did seemed ok nothing special.
Location beach is right at the top of the hotel 2 minute walk it does get busy on the beach and only warning I would give is do not swim near the pier it can get quite rough and difficult as we found out but lifeguards are always there and they reacted quickly after our difficulty and put warning signs up shortly after.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely like to return one day.

This was our second visit to this hotel. We knew before that it is in a boring neighborhood, but are attracted by the fantastic beach with its bathtub-ish water. The hotel offers several pools, including +18 where we stayed every day. The adult pool is located closest to the beach and unfortunately we could see that every day uninvited guests came, people who did not stay in the hotel, who snuck in for sunbathing and swimming.

We stayed 3 adults in a well-planned and spacious room. There is soap in the shower, but you need to bring all other toiletries yourself. Bath towel (pool) is provided and can be changed three times a week.

The food is primarily served as buffet style. Once during the stay it was included an a 'la carte-dinner, which held high class. The buffet area was loud and cramped. None of the outdoor seating was particularly appealing, it was more for feeding than cozy meals. There were a lot of staff, who worked hard; but as I speak Spanish, I unfortunately overheard rude and annoyed comments about us guests on several occasions.

We did not use the gym this time as we took long walks on the beach instead. However, the gym is located in the basement and still looked good.

nice hotel with friendly staff. However, I am disappointed with the front desk. There were guests in front of me when we arrived at the hotel who asked what it cost to upgrade the room to a room with a private pool. Here the receptionist said that there are special offers right now for only 50 euros extra due to covid. Right after I asked for the exact same thing and was told 95 euro per night? why the diffrence? 22 euros for breakfast per person is also just over the top I think.

Otherwise it was a wonderful experience for us as a family and we will be back.

Dear overballe11, Above all, we would like to thank you for having chosen Zafiro Hotels for your holiday in Mallorca and for sharing your opinion with other travellers on TripAdvisor. I am glad to read you liked the hotel and that you would like to come back, it would be an absolute pleasure to welcome you back again. With regard to the difference in the price you overheard from previous guests in the Front Desk, I would like to take this opportunity to clarify that this was due to a difference in the room type. The cost of a room upgrade varies depending on the room type, and this is why we offer different prices. I think there might have been a confusion around this, and I am sorry you left with a wrong impression because of this and rated the hotel lower as a result. I sincerely hope you will reward us with another visit to one of our hotels in the best holiday destinations in Mallorca in the future. Pep Escalas Zafiro Bahia General Manager

A special occasion meant pushing the budget a little from our usual basic hotels and we were not disappointed. The hotel was superb, great facilities and rooms ( we had a room with private sun terrace and hot tub/jacuzzi ) . Food in buffet was excellent, we ate once in a la carte and it was a little disappointing, not terrible, just not to the standard the rest of the hotel. Staff were almost fawlty towersesque, one just took order thena nother brought someone elses sweets within a couple of miutes for example. Location is a little out of the main drag but it was walkable in ~ 40 mins. Buses were cheap if you used contactless payment.
Would happily stay again if in the area

Just got home from a 9 night stay and I can not praise the hotel enough, clean and tidy, room was cleaned daily with fresh towels to, lovely pools, food was great we was half board I must admit breakfast is quite normal and everyday is the same but saying that I certainly didn’t starve, evening meal I’m a veggie and found a great choice and very tasty food to, plenty of dessert choice also, cocktails are also very nice, the entertainment staff certainly keep busy and the Sunday night singer we loved.
I can not thank the reception staff I don’t recall names but was a male and female who swapped our room very quickly on Sunday night we had room with a private pool which was fabulous but after a week we returned to the room at 6pm and the most awful noise was going on from we assume the filter, we got ready to go to dinner but 7.30 it was getting louder after a visit from the maintenance man who bless him between us speaking no Spanish and him no english he rang reception who then rang us back told us to pack our stuff we can be moved, the room we got moved to was two doors down and a upgraded room which meant our pool was even bigger, thank you so much for sorting it all out so quickly and our first room was amazing but the second room was incredible.
The beach is lovely and the sea is turquoise In places and the peer makes beautiful pictures, we hired a car and found alcudia old town was stunning the Spanish town houses and streets are gorgeous with shops and restaurants.
We normally stay in andrax but we will definitely be coming back to stay here thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so lovely.

I'm not entirely sure. But suspect that the rooms on the ground floor are the best. Where there are private pools for the rooms on the right side of the hotel. Some rooms also have their own jacuzzi. I would not recommend the couch in the living room.
