Just got home from a lovely 1 week break. Can highly recommend this hotel. We had the junior swim up room. Nothing was to much trouble staff were amazing food was the best I've had and 2 minutes walk from the most beautiful beach. Only thing the evening entertainment wasn't much but it is early in the season. We will definitely be going back.
Lovely hotel which was very clean and staff always polite and extremely helpful. Food was great, can get a bit samey towards the end of the week but it was good quality. Glad I didn’t book a swim up room as these appeared to be in the shade for most of the day. The only concern I had was that the toilet door was frosted glass but had an inch gap down the side so privacy was compromised. This was only an issue due to being a relatively new couple. Overall, no major issues. However, it would be nice if there was a separate bar that stayed open until 12am where adults could relax. The lobby one closed at 10pm which meant using the one across the road.
Lovely and clean, staff were very polite and helpful, nice pool, food was amazing and a great selection. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss some good some not so good but over all this was an amazing holiday and can't recommend this hotel enough, truly memorable.
Before we arrived we were in a very different financial situation to when we booked (due to covid) so we emailed requesting we cancel our luxury upgrade. Request replied to and sorted. Arrived only to find they didn't know anything about it, next day they moved us but no refund offered :-( - night one in the restuarant after dinner my son was hit by a large piece of metal door casing falling on him narrowly missing my husband and son in law too. They are lucky we aren't the suing kind !! - safe to say this hindered our ability to relax and didn't get us off to the best start. However - this aside, the hotel is fabulous, the pools beautiful but freezing with the kids pool being the other side of the Road. The food was good - im fussy and i found stuff to eat and drink. The staff are lovely and do there best especially the reception, restuarant and entertainment staff. The food and timings of meals and entertainment are not really geared up for younger children. The suites are beautiful with a lounge and a bedroom along with a shower room and 2 seperate toilets and large balconies - our balcony overlooked a building being built but this is not the hotels fault and there was no one working on it. You can stroll to shops and the buses were great and quite cheap too. sad we got off to a bad start as we all made it out alive lol :-)…
This is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in abroad. I absolutely cannot fault it. The rooms were beautiful they supply everything you need microwave, kettle, iron and ironing board even a magnifying mirror! The staff are amazing especially a big shout out to the hotel animators Fran, Lara and Alex. They kept the kids and the adults entertained! The kids done t-shirt paining, and other creative actives etc an the men loved the archery and shooting contests and table tennis etc while we girls chilled by the pool…just perfect! The kids loved the evening entertainment. The food was beautiful with lots of choice. The breakfasts are lovely too with lots of choice. Quite a few branded drinks also in the AI deal. In all it was a lovely holiday which we cannot fault at all. Above all the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. There was 7 of us and they gave us a curtesy room for 1.5hrs to shower and change in before our airport pick up on last day. In all what a lovely 10 days we had.. we will definitely be back and we can’t recommend this place enough to people.…
We stayed for a week in April/May 2022. We experienced two medical emergencies (not related to the hotel) and all staff were exceptional in supporting our family and showing kindness. The buffet was varied. Rooms were well equipped
Our first trip abroad since July 2019 and Playa de Muro Suites did not disappoint. Hotel was clean and bright and the rooms were very comfortable. We booked a superior suite which has a separate bedroom with en-suite as well as a couch bed and family bathroom. Was ideal for our family of 4. There are 3 separate pools - one of which is a swim up pool only for adults staying in the ground floor rooms opposite the pool. The other 2 are for any guest and one of these pools has slides for kids. Our 2 had a great time visiting this pool while we relaxed at the other one. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always greeted us with a smile. Our transfer pick up for the return home was 90 mins after checkout at 12 noon so we enquired about a later checkout. The hotel charges per person so we decided not to bother for the sake of an hour and a half. The reception staff offered a courtesy room for 30 mins which allowed me to check us out at 12 while the kids played in the pool. We then headed to the courtesy room around 12.30 to get dried off and changed and relaxed in reception waiting for our pick up. Was such a lovely gesture and made our last day more enjoyable as it felt like we'd gotten an extra half day in the sun. We couldn't comment on the hotel evening entertainment as we always did our own thing after dinner but there was always something on in the evening for guests with a kids mini disco beforehand. The day entertainment was varied with options for kids as well as adults ranging from craft making to archery. Finally the restaurant - amazing!! The food was delicious and there was a great variety to choose from. My wife is pescatarian and there was always a fabulous range of vegetarian options and fresh fish to choose from. The week of our stay there was a Mexican night and Asian night and the food was lovely. We were all inclusive and in the past we've always had at least 1 night where we've decided to go to a restaurant in the resort and have a break from the hotel food. Didn't need or want to do it this time round and we could've easily stayed another week and would've enjoyed every meal. There were snacks available during the day and plenty of drink choices from the bars. All in all we could not have asked for a better holiday after 3 years of not getting away and we would and expect to stay here again in the future. Thank you so much Playa de Muro Suites for an amazing stay!…
Went for a short break with my husband. This hotel does not disappoint. From arrival to departure it was just great. It's not a massive complex its just such a nice size. We were in a junior swim up room and it definitely had the WOW factor. Own terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs, pool and bali bed. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. staff, food, facilities all brilliant. Will be back 100%
Stayed there with my 4yo and my sister. There’s a nice playground for children, there’s also a children’s swimming pool which is nice! Rooms were very clean! Last but not least; all staff members, from the chef cook to the cleaning ladies were super friendly. Thank you for the pleasant stay!
We have just returned from a week’s all inclusive at the Mar Playa de Muro suites. We found the hotel to be excellent.Small, friendly and well equipped. We had a superior suite for a family of four with teenagers. The room was very well presented and well equipped with two bathrooms( including two showers), two TVs with some English channels, iron and ironing board, fridge , shower gel , kettle and tea & coffee and a large double balcony. We had a pool room view but be aware these face onto a building which is being built( no work was happening while we were there). The staff at the hotel are simply BRILLIANT and can’t do enough for you. Big mention to Angie ( manageress) who always greeted us with a chat to make sure everything was ok. Also Sergio and Vanessa in the restaurant and German in the bar were fantastic. The food was very good with a wide range of choice and lots of vegetarian options and dairy free milk in the mornings ( if that’s important to you). Drinks were great with a lot of branded drinks and lots of cocktails ( which were freshly made rather than pre mixed) included in the AI menu. Entertainment was generally good and the staff there were also very welcoming without being a hassle. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back!…
