We stayed two nights at Hotel Jakubus and would recommend it, especially if you are looking for a nice weekend retreat from nearby Wroclaw, or the perfect venue for a gorgeous wedding. The complex includes stables and eventing arena, private jacuzzi, horse riding activities, and two lakes (one for activities including kayaking and waterbiking) and one for releaxing by. There is a changing room and refreshment station, plus private small beach. The landscaped grounds are lovely for walking or you can relax on the lawn or terrace in a deck chair with a glass or two. Several guests had brought their dogs along which we thought was lovely. We had a two room studio with two single beds and one double bed in the main building (Room 8). The room was nicely furnished with a small table and two armchairs, and the bathroom was spacious with shower. Both rooms had airconditioning and the WiFi access was excellent. Unfortunately the water temperature in the shower was difficult to maintain, moving from warm to hot to cold without warning, but the water pressure itself was good. We ate both nights in the onsite restaurant. The meal on the first night was wonderful, definitely the best meal our entire trip to Poland, and the service from the waiter (who we understand was new) was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The meal on the second night was good, but not quite to the standard of the previous night however it was the Head Chef's night off. The service from the waitress Weronika was good. The breakfasts on both mornings had a wide range of dishes, and eggs could be cooked to order. The booking process was frustrating as you can only reserve online via 'dotpay', and while the dotpay payment options supposedly include MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, etc we couldn't make a reservation online, possibly as our bank cards are not Polish. We were able to reserve a room via Reception (Marcelina), but the online reservations systems could be improved to be more user friendly. We would recommend Hotel Jakubus and hope to return again in the future…
We were invited to a Wedding in the town about 7km from this hotel. On arrival you drive through a very small village and then suddenly this amazing place is visible. We only stayed one night and had the wedding reception at the hotel but I thought it was a stunning venue and if you like fishing and horse riding it's perfect! The food was good but I would not say it's a room service hotel although the staff are excellent. I found the room a bit small but comfortable but the views made up for it! I would highly recommend this for anyone thinking of having their wedding reception in the area.
