We weren’t sure what to expect going to a “kid” hotel. But hey… we have 2 small kids so we spent a few days trying out. What blew us away was the food. The buffet they have setup for breakfast & dinner is unbelievable. There are so many items to choose from it really surprised us. The quality of the food for a buffet was also top notch. There are a lot of amenities for the kids, but we mostly spent time in the pool. The staff at the pool was excellent (at the bar & the lifeguard). We also used the giant chess board, petted the animals & went to the blow up slides. Overall - nice stay & we’d recommend it to other families.

We went for lunch and to see the grounds. I can not comment on the spa itself, but the premises are interesting. The reception area was clean and "modern" The restaurant was essentially empty. One other table of 4 was occupied and a guy who wandered in and didnt order just sat there. The menu was a not easy to understand and we had someone who spoke Polish at the table. The waitresses were not much more help in explaining dishes. They brought an amuse bouche to the table which was nice. Despite the restaurant being empty it took quite a long time for them to bring the food. The food was all very good. There was an attempt to bring modern cuisine to Poland with some of the sauces and garnishes. It came across as forced. The asparagus soup had so much greenery in it and not enough of the soup which was excellent. The steak was very well done. Prices are high for Poland and the remote location…

Overall it is a nice place to stay, but there are few things to consider, unfortunatelly and some of them are crucial since they advertise as a hotel for kids. The place is very clean, surrounding and interior is very pleasing, there are great play areas both inside and outside. The care takers in kid area are very kind and great with kids. The food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. If you are not allergic. As for the downfalls: - even after contacting the hotel three times to ask about possible no-milk dishes (due to quite popular nowadays kid's allergy and after being asked about allergies in reservation proccess) and being assured there won't be any problem, it was. For three days straight. Speaking with restaurant manager ended in me simply feeling ashamed and frustrated, while other guests listened with interest. The problem was not solved until a bit harsher reaction from my side on third breakfast when yet again there was no milk-free dishes on kids menu. It was fixed in under 15 minutes then. Had they simply inform me they are not able to provide such diet I would bring my own food. - according to our friends- another gueats at the hotel, the inside swimming pool was not that good for kids- no changing place for small one and so on. - some dangerous solutions in the house- very steep staircase which resulted in one of the kids falling down. After asking for some kind of stair barrier to prevent from another accident we were informed that it's impossible to put one there. - a square piece of glass on the kitchen table in common area which was about 1cm too big for the table. And on the perfect height of kids heads... Overall- nice place to stay but in my opinion few things overlooked. And my personal experience not that great due to problem with communication about the menu.…

We stayed at Bacowka Radawa for 3 nights as a friend's wedding took place there. Over all the place seems nice, near the woods and a lake, with chalets everywhere and a paved small road for golf carts (used by cleaning ladies) that connects them all. It also has some a voleyball court, a field to wander around and some cozy places under the trees. The designer did a wonderful job, but forgot the practicality of the its design though. One example would be the shower which had only 3 walls and no door (which looks nice) but also a much too small drain, thus easily flooding the bathroom. Moreover the bathroom door had an unusual carving in its lower middle side (which again looked modern) but thus allowing the water from the flooded bathroom to continue its way into the room. The result was far from what I would have expected from a 4 star rated resort. The food at the restaurant tends to be fancy, but some meals (like a Kale cream soup) are really not that good. If you think these were the worst parts, you couldn't be much further from the truth. The service is absolutely miserable. Most of the staff can't speak even basic English. When we tried to eat at around 11:00 after 2 flights and an hour drive we were literally kicked out of the restaurant (there were 6 of us) because...apparently we were... "too late" for breakfast and I guess to early for lunch. *We later found out there are other places to eat in Radawa but nobody gave us any option on where to go - " just get out!" was the feeling they gave us. The cleaning ladies even though they came to our room didn't take any of our garbage for 3 days and didn't even provide enough toilet paper to last throughout our stay. We took the garbage ourselves eventually and yes we didn't find big dumpsters inside the resort so we had to take it in one of the dumpsters in town (this is for 1 star resorts and campings). On top of it all even though they put 4 of us into a normal chalet we ended up paying as much (per person) as 2 of our friends who stayed by themselves in a similar chalet. Super! I wouldn't recommend this, especially if you are coming from a fare distance away. You find better services and resorts for lower prices almost anywhere in Europe or Southern Europe at least (Spain, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and so on..)…
