This is really the loveliest hostel i stayed in. The very pretty Tipi tent with comfy bed and anti-muzzy net and circular size makes it very cozy and familiar. The various showers, electrical( warm but little water) solar (warm when sunny) and normal (cold) with a great view of the mountains gives you a very outside feeling. Great kitchen and...

I had a wonderful time staying at La Pacha. We were a group of 10 that booked last-minute, and the owners could not have been more accommodating. We ended up extending our stay at the hostel because we had such a great experience the first night. It´s a beautiful location, not far from San Gil or Barichara, with a lot...

I don't normally write reviews but this place deserves a mention! I'd heard about La Pacha from somebody I had met in Tayrona. They highly recommended it. I checked out the website where I found instructions on how to get there. It was super easy, I took the bus towards Barichara and 15 minutes later arrived. I had a short...

What a gem La Pacha is. I visited with a friend and although we were only to spend one night, we stayed 4. Nestled in the hills between Barichara and San Gil, for those looking to stay off the beaten track and in serene surroundings, this is a must! Try their home produced goats milk and yoghurt, you won't be...

This hostel was an oasis from the adorable animals, amazing solar showers, cool bunks in a dome and unreal veggie food! The owners are so sweet the helpful and told us where to go each day, booked our bus tickets, and were generally always willing to help us. It is up the hill but very easy to get into town...

The owners are super friendly, helpful and will make you feel at home. They have an awesome hammock area and really cool tv-bus with loads of movies and...

If you find yourself in San Gil, definitely stay at La Pacha! We arrived after a long flight, and an even longer bus ride from Bogota. We were in touch with Justin, who made us sandwiches to eat upon our 11 pm arrival. We planned the rest of our time in San Gil with his help and input, and he...

This place is very cute and definitely worth a visit. I stayed in a dorm room and it was kept very clean. It gets a little cool at night, but there are plenty of blankets on the beds to keep you warm. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provide amazing meals if you don't feel like cooking for...
