I expected much more given the reviews. The grounds are very nice although we did not get much time to enjoy them because while we arrived at 3:00 pm no one was there to meet us. A doctor's appointment meant we cooled our heels until 5:00--and numerous phone calls went unanswered and no call back to our cellphone to advise...

Our stay at this lovely gites was memorable. Celine is a warm and gracious host and also speaks perfect English. The room décor was beautiful and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The grounds are large and gardens wonderful to look at. A great location to visit this area but also a perfect location for anyone needing to get to CDG...

This small B&B is on a busy road through the town, but once you get inside the gates you're in another world. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous rooms, and Celine is a charming hostess. There's not much in Plailly except for 2 bakeries and 1 great restaurant, but it's only 15 minutes from CDG airport. It's a good place to stay if...

Another stay at La Chasse Royale to enjoy such charming hospitality. This is a comfortable, very french hotel in the little village of Plailly with easy access to Paris and the southern Picardie contryside. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the garden is an oasis of calm after a day's work in the city. Celine Perreau speaks excellent English and...

While it's true that this lovely gites is located on a busy street, I found the street noise to be absolutely no problem. One must not be scared to pull in and out of a blind intersection to park here, however! I have limited mobility, and it is difficult to find a property with character that is also accessible. This...

We stayed our last night here, near the airport. We thought it would be quiet in this small village. Our room was cute, as was the property, and it was situated on a small D road. This D road was the route to and from the autoroute, Paris and environs. Trucks, cars, motorcycles zoomed by all night. Dangerous and loud....

We booked to stay at La Chasse Royale because of it's close proximity to CDG and we wanted to stay in the country outside of Paris for our last two nights in France. It was so very nice. Celine is so kind and sweet. Her two small boys are a delight. She will go out of her way to make...

We hate to stay at an airport hotel for our last night in a country. Not only are they expensive, but they are characterless. Three of us recently booked two rooms at the Chambres d'Hotes place known as La Chasse Royale. It is in a small town, Plailly, about 15 minutes from the airport. The rooms were very pleasant, as...
