Castello di Sinio is an outstanding property in terms of comfort, customer service and atmosphere. It manages to perfectly blend the experience of staying in a historic castle with the comforts of a modern inn ( a rare thing!) But beyond the lovely bedding, toiletries, perfect grounds, cheerful staff and a fabulous breakfast, Denise really made our first trip to... More

The Hotel Castello di Sinio is indeed perfection. There is not a blade of grass out of place, the courtyard is serene and the view to die for. Inside, rooms are wonderfully airconditioned and the wi-fi mostly works despite foot-deep stone walls. The team has everything taped and no opportunity to delight is over-looked. And therein lies the problem: house... More

Of course, getting reviews like this is so disappointing to all of us here who work with love & passion to take good care of our guests. I agree with the husband, I think it is unfair. And I think the real heart of the matter is about having to be considerate of fellow guests. Certain house rules are not... More

Based on the previous reviews, our expectations were very high. Yet, Denise and her staff managed to exceed them. Every aspect of the hotel was exceptional, from the rooms to the grounds to the staff and the food. Nothing here has been overlooked. In addition to the glass of Proseco when you arrive, Denise provides you with a booklet of... More

This was our second stay at Castello Di Sinio and it certainly won't be our last! Denise and her staff have perfected every detail in this truly beautiful hotel, to make sure your stay is everything you could dream for. Her food is exceptional, the surrounding countryside is breathtaking, and the wines, nectar!

HOW DOES ONE DESCRIBE A HOTEL AND STAFF OF EXCELLENCE. On arrival we were met by Isabella and Denise with a glass of cold sparkling wine, big smiles and an explanation pack of all the most interesting places to visit. Our car was taken care of and our cases magically arrived in our room before we did. Denise ( the... More

This was our 3rd visit and we are already looking forward to the next. Beautiful property and first class service. 11 rooms which are cozy, clean and comfortable with foam mattress beds. Decorated to match the splendour of the castle. Located minutes from some of the top Barolo vineyards. Great hiking in the area. Restaurant is a must with exceptional... More

This hotel has spoiled all other hotels for me. Every detail from the staff greeting us when we drove up to the sweet notes left with the weather for the following day, Denise has thought of everything! We enjoyed a gorgeous room for three nights and they recommended a wine tour where we just fell in love with Barolo wines... More

We stayed for 2 nights on the way south. This is a fabulous hotel with the most fantastic staff. Denise ensures that nothing is less than perfect - from a glass of fizz and a brief on the region on arrival, through to advice on the most pleasant drive as you leave. We dined at the Piazza Duomo on our... More

We've just returned from our third visit to the Castello and we can't wait until we're able to return again. We both travel frequently for work and are fortunate to stay in wonderful hotels and to eat in great restaurants around the world. But if we had to pick our favorite place on earth this would be it!!
