We've just returned from our third visit to the Castello and we can't wait until we're able to return again. We both travel frequently for work and are fortunate to stay in wonderful hotels and to eat in great restaurants around the world. But if we had to pick our favorite place on earth this would be it!! Denise Pardini... More

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Denise and her staff have created a wonderful base for exploring the Piedmont. The hotel is exquisitely appointed and the staff looks after your every need from the moment you arrive. We were given wonderful suggestions for touring and dining. The breakfasts were excellent and the dinner we had at the hotel was... More

Absolutely the most outstanding place to stay while exploring Piedmont! Denise, and her staff provide their guests "exceptional" service! Literally, the list goes on forever! Upon arrival each guest is greeted with a sparkling glass of Prosecco, then handed a printed information packet. Denise has researched and documented so much information about Piedmont, that everything and anything you would ever... More

Where do I begin??? This property has been very tastefully done and the location is beautiful. Every corner inside or out has an effect...starting with the attentive assistance with scheduling tours and booking restaurants before our arrival....questions or emails were anwered within 24 h. We had a gracious welcome from chef-owner Denise Pardini and her staff, given a detailed explanation... More

Denise and her staff epitomize professionalism and graciousness. We have been to many outstanding hotels, but the Castello di Sinio is a singular experience. From the unique rooms to the fine dining, there is nothing quite like it anywhere in Italy. It's worth every penny.

I generally don't write reviews when I have nothing meaningful to add. But when a place is beyond extraordinary, I feel compelled to say so. So, here goes another five stars for Denise, her staff and her hotel. She aspires for 11 out of ten in her efforts and ends up hitting a 12. No detail too small to make... More

the hotel is superbly furnished and equipped. It is on a hill top overlooking the little town of Sinio. A beautiful garden with the scent of jasmine. And what a restaurant ! It is ideally situated for visiting the Barolo wine producing area

We stayed three nights at this restored castle in the little village of Sinio, in Piemonte, Italy It was restored by and is owned and operated by Denise Pardini, who is also the chef. The hotel has some strict rules which I believe allow it to operate at full efficiency. You can't book in before 2pm and certain areas are... More

We have been fortunate to visit wine regions throughout the world. This was our first visit to Piedmont. It will not be our last. For us the anchor to any memorable tour is the quality of the accommodations and the attentiveness of the staff. This gem falls into our Top Five Small hotels in the world. It started with Denise... We have just spent 7 nights at Castello Di Sinio and I am already yearning to go back. From the very first and throughout our entire time Denise, Isabella, and all her staff gave flawless, caring and friendly service. They all made us feel as though we were very special guests. Prior to arriving all communications were answered promptly and... More
