We booked our stay at the Garalapin Guest house about a week in advance by email. Even in the first mail Sam and Clive were very friendly. The first impression was right. When Sam welcomed us, she was super friendly. We met Clive in the evening when we were standing outside and watching the stars. So this is one of...

It was our third visit to Skye and this was definitely the best place we've stayed at. The room was just lovely, it was clean, very cozy with beautiful bedding, the bathroom was tiny but it sufficed (especially for a short stay like ours). All the facilities were there - hair dryer, travel guides, WiFi etc. Breakfasts were delicious. Sam...

This was a unique B&B in a rural setting with sheep and cattle roaming the roads. The hosts were very nice and it was a very good breakfast. The negative for us was the location of the bathroom for the room we had. There are only two rooms, one with an ensuite (which we didn't have) and one, a family...

It’s a pity you didn’t book our other room when you chose to stay with us as it seems it would have accommodated you better. Unfortunately I was unable to swap your rooms as the double ensuite was already taken by our other guests. We find your comments a little harsh as we try to ensure our rural bed and...

It was a very nice B&B, a big room for us and our two children, the bathroom next to the room was very clean. The breakfast was good. The place was very nice and quiet. It was our children's best B&B in Scotland because of the trampoline in the garden !

Thanks for the review and your kind comments. We're really pleased you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. The trampoline is a big hit with our younger guests and gives them a chance to stretch their legs after a long car journey, many thanks & best wishes, Sam & Clive

Ideal location, 5 min drive from Portree, makes it a good base to visit the island. Very quiet and with a great view on the countryside. We visited Skye in April 2016 with our young one. We stayed in the family room 3 nigths, room is good size, clean and comfortable. And it's warm too, we can say as we...

Best B&B at our week-long road trip in Skotland. Outstanding breakfast, extremely friendly hosts and nice location, plus cool hens in the back yard. If you are planning a trip to Skye, book this B&B, you won´t regret it.

We stayed in the family room. Room is clean and comfortable. Good breakfast choices. The hosts are very thoughtful for having some toys in the cupboard and in the bathroom. Our little girl loved feeding the chickens in the morning. It was nice to have travel guides, magazines and DVDs in the room as well.

We had a great stay at Garalapin House B&B this July. The Isle of Skye is not to miss! The hosts are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean, the food is delicious, and the area up in the hills so quiet and beautiful. It's already been the second time for me that I was staying in Garalapin House! Sam and Clive had warmly welcomed my girlfriend and myself and were pleased that I have chosen Garalapin House again. We were staying in the double ensuite room, which is cosy and beautifully decorated. The B&B is a short drive outside Portree in the countryside...
