We went for a staycation and book extra room for friends to catch up at a same place with our young children. The reception was helpful, Mr. Nick had very good temperament and memory ( we all wear the mask but he still could remember everyone ) We received upgrade to a suite as Marriott platinum. The room was good size and big enough for few adults and kids had good time together. The hotel is famous in kids friendly, our children had a ball in kids club, but the pool was not so much. We didn’t get to visit the lounge as its limited for aged 18 and over. Also we could not take some fruit or dessert for children even they are not allowed to visit the lounge. Breakfast are good selections and tasty!! Especially they could allow take away if guest choose not to dinning in restaurants which makes parents do much easier!! Its also close to the high speed train and shops, park just few minutes drive. I would love to turn this property again as it’s a great choose for our trip in Taiwan.…

I stayed at Sheraton Hsinchu for around 50 days and it was really good. The hotel itself is modern and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The staff are friendly and service is good. If you are staying for long periods, the breakfast spread can get a tad monotonous, but that is me nitpicking. Location-wise, there are a lot of places to roam around and try out foods nearby. There’s also a couple of canals close by that are relaxing to take a walk next to. Sheraton gets a lot of guests who come as part of tour packages (I assume) in buses, so deciding to check in or out when such a bus arrives can put you in a very long queue. Tip: ask for an East Wing room that faces the road and not the West Wing. You get to see the HSR line and mountains in the distance.…

Not impressed, dissatisfied and hotel does not deserving its reputation, standard and according price level. To be fair and objective upfront: well located, spacious nice rooms and good beds. All the basics are excellent. The poor service simply made my stay disappointing. It startet with a 30 minute line to check-in, a dirty and smoke smelling room. Room change went OK and the manager apologized correctly and well. She did a good job. At check-in I was informed that there would not be room service due to lack of staff. What, a Sheraton as AirBnB experience where you just rent a room? Yes indeed. I have never experienced this. Most awkward was that it was justified with high occupancy and indicated with a “eco label” to save natural resources. This is pure greed. If you do not have enough staff, you should occupy less rooms to keep the standard that your guest pay for and may expect. But no, you charge premium rates and expect your guests to make up their own bed and tidy their room. Not acceptable and it gets worse. No Bar open just a coffee place that closes at 21:00. Consequently groups of guests are buying drinks at 7Eleven and making their own evening in the lobby. It reminded my of my days backpacking in hostels. Breakfast a pure disaster. No places, noisy, empty dishes, no glasses or cutlery. Like at school camps you just try grab some foods and make the best of the situation. No my idea of a relaxing start of the day. To the management of Sheraton. I fully understand the post COVID challenges to find and train staff. This is very difficult, I acknowledge. Restaurants and hotels around the globe face similar issues. I have comprehension but I do not accept how you manage the situation. You should fight for your reputation and keep your standards up. Nothing much to mention about this hotel other than it’s classic Sheraton business style hotel. I book the Deluxe Corner room which comes with ample of space. Large bath and shower, standard comfortable bed. Only complain I had there’s nothing at minibar – although convenient store is nearby. Curtains by the study and bar can be hard to reach. The room can be gloomy – not enough bright lights. There’s also nothing much in Hsinchu in general… I’m just here to meet my friends and Sheraton appears to be the best in Hsinchu City :D

This is my 3rd time stays in this Marriott property, and this time was during the pandemic COVID (maybe?), so the services I had received was not at all respectful. 1, Unlike most of other Marriott properties, there is no pre-arrival email to remind if there any changes or services unavailability for Bonvoy Platinum supposed to receive, e.g. Executive lounge closure. Shameful. 2, Communication errors between FO and F&B about the breakfast offerings. 3, When I stressed I’d like to have a greeting to VP John Chou whom I’ve pleasantly encountered in the past stay, Mike Mao, Duty FO Manager however in the 1st instance, had rejected and saying “HE is the Biggest guy in the hotel over the weekend” (surprise!) This is regretful to see such a Sheraton brand I enjoyed in the past having such a bureaucratic feelings, and I never get a change to know whether my greeting message to VP Chou trying to reflect the issues for feedback is received, from June 5 Saturday till now. Pity. p.s. all other duty FO managers I met before were superb except Mike, just don’t like to destroy some good efforts still within FO.…

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights during a business trip in March 2020. The hotel is excellent. Great room with was very dark and quiet at night and with a good bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful with lots of choice. I also made use of the gym, pool and sauna couple of times. The gym was much better than what you usually get in hotels. Pool and spa were great too. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit further away from downtown Hsinchu and from the Science park but still I would choose it again next time I will be in Hsinchu.

We only stayed for one night with friend, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay here. Really appreciated for the all arrangement from front office team to make my birthday trip was fabulous! Club at 22F was amazing and we enjoyed the service and food so much. Room was clean and comfortable, birthday amenities placed in room prior our arrival and really surprised. Efficient service provided each department. Staffs were warm and professional at front desk and club!

I stayed in Hsinchu Sheraton since the first day it started. The service is still outstanding after years. The staffs in the reception and the club lounge are very friendly. Sometimes you can feel they are fresh and still work as as trainee, but you can feel they are doing their every best to help the customer. I like the swimming pool in this hotel, it is indoor and has the warm water system. I can swim througout the year when I stay this hotel. I can't expect the room is very new since the hotel has been built from 10 years. Anyway, the room is vey clean and comfortable. It means the hotel has good management.

Although I only stayed one night, I still enjoyed the fantastic service from the hotel staff, and the facilities also quite good! But in this period, I think the staff should wear mask to protect customers and themselves from disease spreading!! Truly a good time here, I’ll visit again soon. :)

Premium Business Hotel With nice lounge service during the stay! The room is quite big but still have space to improve, such as cozy interior decoration and elegant wall paper. How to make business image to improve up to elegant & luxury, that shall bu focused on. The hotel elevator down to parking lot is quite small and shall wait quite long due to busy operation.
