This review would be 5 star but for the fact that there is 5 star food available in the same village - and in fairness you can't give everything 5 stars,,,,,,.. The food in Brandimarte is good nevertheless and guests won't be disappointed on that front, especially if you make a point of enjoying local produce. Where Brandimarte scores for...

Wanting to see Castelluccio and taste the local produce I chose this Agriturismo on the basis of the very positive TA reviews. We weren't disappointed! The Agriturismo (in reality a very nice hotel) has been open for 4 years and is located in a refurbished farm building towards the top of the rocky mound on which the village stands. The...

This place is located right in Castelluccio. Parking was easy outside the building. Staff are excellent, friendly and professional and take pride in the place. Rooms are clean & comfortable, with a great view from the upper floors, although the window could be bigger to take advantage of that (extremely minor gripe). Wifi works well. The restaurant is excellent as...

We had a very well appointed modern room with a terrace overlooking the Piano Grande. Hospitality and food highly recommended, A perfect place to stay in Castelluccio and ideal base to explore the southern Sibillini mountains

We stayed two nights and had a great service, clean and comfortable rooms. The food was excellent. Clean cloths, glasses and cutlery. You could see that owners and employees expend energy to appear with quality. We'll be back.

As always, let's get a few things straight... A review on Tripadvisor is a individual appreciation, NOT a biblical truth. We all have different experiences to build on. Last but not least, not every hamburger or pizza joint deserves Michelin stars. If you come to Catelluccio, you can't expect a Taj Mahal hotel, or a 3 star Michelin restaurant. If...

This is an excellent agroturismo and the lunch menu has a superb range of local dishes, of course featuring sausage, lentils, truffles and spelt. The house wine is also local and barely marked-up. It's very smartly appointed inside, bright and comfortable, service is relaxed and efficient, and above all is very good value. There is dining on the terrace outside,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Antica Cascina Brandimarte was the place where my parents sheltered animals during the coldest seasons. The present restaurant was occupied by the old hayloft. It was used to preserve the hay, that in the winter was the only source of nourishment for the cows. Animals were handled carefully because they were considered one of the main sources of income. An other important element was the agriculture, whose primary products were lentils, spelt, roveja (pea of wild provenance) and rye. Today Antica Cascina Brandimarte is a farm holiday, where you can relax and taste local dishes, which have made known our territory. ... more   less
