A real and authentic retreat- Situated right at the source of life - the fresh water flows, birdsong symphonies mountain trails, the tranquility a tonic. Gracious and generous hosts - it felt like a such a gift for them to have opened their hearth for us tourists. And to boot the home cooked food simply made our getaway pure perfection....

We stayed in the Aloe Tent for two days and it was amazing! Far too short! We arrived quite late and my lil hatchback had a bit of trouble getting to the place but we eventually made it. The view is stunning and private and tent and kitchen are well equipped are quite well equipped for a bush retreat. We...

Wide Horizons is as good as you can get. It's a real haven, up in the hills. I'd recommend having a solid car to get you up the dirt track, which all adds to the adventure! You will be amazed by the views, the welcome and the peace that you'll be met with. There is a beautiful walk up the...

The best of all Swaziland views are to be seen from the Rosecraft Farm. Wide Horizon is the name of the place (which is spot on) where we have spent our days in a luxury safari aloe tent. Driving up to the lodge is beautiful (a 4x4 is recommended with bad weather). Rose, a very charismatic lady, was awaiting us...

Our two nights at Wide Horizons was the highlight of our Swazi trip! We stayed in the Aloe Tent - a private, nice and comfortable tent with an amazing view. Wide Horizon is a hiker and mountain bikers paradise. We only had time for one 5 h long hike but will definitely come back and explore the hills and mountains...

This is a true gem, hidden amongst the rolling green hills of Swaziland. The views are spectacular and Wide Horizons feels like a home away from home. Rose, the owner, is so wonderful and kind and makes the most amazing home cooked meals. Everything was perfect and we left feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated!

The trip to get there over sandy roads leaves you wondering where it eventually all leads to, well don't worry it is: To Rose and her wonderful, amazingly beautiful and tranquil world, she so successfully created after 40 years of no doubt intense labour combined with a highly artistic spirit and insight in what the real essence of life is...

A true gem in the hills of Swaziland. We stayed at the Weavers nest. Very nice tent and well equipped kitchen, although we did not cook dinner ourselves as you can also order dinner, which was absolutely delicious. This is the perfect place to completely unwind, it's nice and quiet but there are lots of things to do. Rose and...

What a special place on top of a hill!! We slept at the weaversnest with the two of us. Although it was Easter and it was busy we had absolute privacy. My husband and I stayed at Wide Horizons (in the Weavers Nest Camp) for three nights in late Dec 2015 / early Jan 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The road to Rosecraft Farm / Wide Horizons is tough going, but it's worth it to be in true countryside, away from the madding crowds. I was glad we were in a...
