A great place to stay overnight if you're traveling down the Peninsula. The cabins are well situated, close to nearby day bush walks, local natural attractions and Port Arthur making it very easy to get around. The cabin itself was spotless inside, spa was fantastic, hot water for our cabin was provided by gas so no running out if you're... More

A cosy, contemporary self contained unit with a big TV, a fully decked out kitchenette that even has a dishwasher and espresso machine! A beautiful bathroom with laundry facilities. A king size bed and then, the pièce de résistance... The jacuzzi right next to the bed. The missus and I were in heaven for our stay, drinking champagne and eating... More

Let me just start by saying we stayed here as our last destination as we toured the East Coast... And this was easily the best we found. The cleanliness and beautifully appointed cabins were something of a surprise and a welcome site for travelled eyes. Kim the Owner and Host, who has recently taken over, shows the 20 years 5... Great little spot, well priced easy to find. Unfortunately someone had tracked some dirt in, but after a quick clean up the place was perfect. Couldn't find a broom or dust brush so maybe a handy thing to add to a well kitted out kitchen. Dirt aside still a great choice

My husband, 2year old and myself stayed for one night at The Mussel Boys cabin. We met the owner who has just taken over in the last week. Our cabin was clean and tidy and a real pleasure to stay in. We cooked the night we were there and I had everything I needed to do a simple meal. The... More

Arrived at this unit to find it really filthy. Obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Every surface was grubby and sticky, the kitchen was filthy, and the bathroom was a disgrace....there were pubic hairs on the vanity and the shower was filthy and mouldy. The kitchen has hardly anything in it, literally only two of anything, with about... More

My husband & I had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. The unit was modern and included everything you would need. The owner was lovely & the area is just beautiful. Would highly recommend for someone looking for a tranquil escape. My only tip would be that the coffee cups could be a bit bigger, but that's neither here... More

The Mussel Boys self contained units are in a great location overlooking the water but just off the highway between eaglehawk neck and Taranna. After a day sightseeing it was perfect to retreat to the unit and cook up a gourmet meal using fresh local produce we had bought that day. The best bit was the spa-bath in the room,... More

Beautiful studio, fantastic location for exploring the peninsula. Great value for money - $130 for two with a spa and king bed. Kitchenette well equipped. Lovely host - Eloise went out of her way to help us out. Highly recommended.
