Beautiful house, home and hospitality, very interesting history, generously shared by hosts Margaret and Pyers. We had a most luxurious bedroom, full of charm and wonderful views. Dinner was superb, as was breakfast, the highest of standards I have come across in many country houses....More

Visited here lately and was pleasantly surprised. Had a one to one tour for €7 and was not dissapointed. Guide was enthusiastic but not overbearing. Facinating history. Nice change to find a Gaelic house rather than the usual Anglo Irish House. Grounds are breathtaking too.

Chanced upon Clonalis House one wet windy Saturday in June. It's a hidden gem. Guided tour conducted by Katie was delightful, she was informative with just the right amount of fun. Well worth €7 each and highly recommended.
