Our first reservation at the Westin Siray Bay Resort was in March 2020, but that was cancelled due to COVID 19. After 2 years, we are glad to stay at this beautiful property! We were at a Sala Villa with pool, and enjoyed every moment of it! An inspiring view of the Siray Bay presented in front of us at the villa, and it was especially wonderful to soak in the pool to take in the view of the changing colours of sunset. The beautiful scenery of the Siray Bay could be seen from almost every area of the resort, including the main shared pool. We had great food at the Seasonal Taste restaurant. The Breakfast Buffet had a great spread of food choices, and we could savour different dishes during our 3 breakfast sessions. There were also a good variety of ethnic cuisines - Thai, Arabic, Indian, Western to satisfy us for our lunches and dinners. We also received very personable and attentive service from the restaurant staff - Frada, Ting, Noon, Noey and Darren. The resort has a private beach, on which we enjoyed relaxing strolls, invigorating sea breeze and soothing scenery. However, the beach had coarse sand mixed with pebbles and rocks, which did not inspire confidence for barefoot wading or swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return during our next trip to Phuket. We note that the room facilities were dated and some equipment were faulty (eg. electrical switches not working, sliding door hinges that were loose). We understand the COVID 19 situation could have contributed to these, and were willing to accept them during this trip, for the other wonderful features of the resort. However, we hope that these could be improved the next time we visit it.…
What a beautiful natural setting! What a fabulous breakfast options to amaze you every morning! What an impeccable service you receive from front office employees as well as restaurant waiters especially Mr Darren and Ms Frada! The room was meticulously cleaned every morning the moment you leave the room. The pool temperature was perfect. The club car service never disappointed me. The daily free shuttle service to Phuket Town and Patong beach was a true added value. The view from the balcony was captivating. The spa menus is priced about 3x what you find outside but the package options (2.5 hour) have much better value.
Amazing hotel. Its really has a wonderful surroundings and amazing view. Rooms are very well mentained and clean. Staffs are very friendly. Food here is excellent too. Loved every part of my stay here at the hotel. Most of my most memorable Phuket trip and stay.
The restaurant staff at seasonal taste restaurant were excellent ! Very courteous and no request was hard for them to satisfy. Special mention to Frada and Hong who served us breakfast and also to Kat who was there to cater to our every need at dinner. Just a wonderful experience all in all !
The hotel is located away from the popular beaches. 50 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Phuket town. Very family oriented. Swimming pool with a fantastic view and pool bar. Stayed in a room with "private" pool access. However, take note that the pool is actually shared by 2 rooms which can be connected. Nice arrangement for big family staying in the connected rooms, otherwise it can be rather strange to be sharing a "private" pool with your stranger neighbor. Hotel is undergoing some much needed touch-ups after the pandemic lockdown periods.
Whilst we often go to Phuket, this time we stayed at the Westin Siray Bay for the first time. Before we arrived, GM Khun Sangchat made us feel we were going to be warmly welcomed. The personal touch exceeded all expectations and the culture of hospitality and warmness resonated throughout the entire team. From Khun Ellis, to Chef Khun Nong, to Khun Kat, Khun Kongkanjana, Khun Tantisook to the entire team, they treated our family like an extended family anticipating all our need. There were other hotel staff too from waiters, to buggy drivers, to staff at the beach. They were all amazing and genuine. All details of service and hospitality were done subtly, discreetly with sincerity. We enjoyed the 3 bedroom villa immensely, basking in the beautiful natural Phuket aesthetics and the serenity of the bay. We had a monkey visit us by our pool one day which added to the excitement. The team went out their way even to accommodate us for all arrangements outside of the hotel from ordering outside food to arranging our own yacht. This kindness is quite unique as many hotels try to capture all revenues in their own venues and services, but the willingness to help externally demonstrated their confidence, flexibility and guest centric culture. We loved every second of the trip and will for sure go back. another unforgettable experience was a private cooked Indian meal by chef Amar. Khun Nongs Yam Som O Poo Nhim and Yam Nhua Yang, and Larb Moo was also exceptional! We cannot wait to go visit our extended family in Phuket again and go back to OUR villa. Thank you Westin Siray Bay, you are exceptional.…
We have stayed in the Westin for our last leg of trip, very disappointed , without blaming them on some issues, You can feel that this hotel was very beautiful back in the days, or before Covid...I believe that Covid hit them hard and you can tell by the state of the hotel. Disappointed about the room as well, we booked a room with a pool, but keep in mind that the room are connected by the pool, so you easily end up with a stranger in front of your bed during the day. If we knew before that the pool room, are shared with a stranger or some screaming kids , I would have never booked this room. The big plus in the hotel is the kids club and absolutely lovely ladies there , which are very patient and extremely nice . I would give you 5* just for the kids club dropping from 9am to 12h and from 1pm to 5 if I am not wrong. The big plus compared to any places we went with kids club offering hotel. They are doing a lot of art and craft activities . The hotel needs a huge maintenance and cleaning, the access of the beach area is extremely dirty with plastics bags, bottles, and just rubbish ...Thats a big no no.. The reception staff need some training, they are absolutely not welcoming and you also feel that they don't want you there...I understand that everyone has his own days..but while working on front desk that's something you should leave in the changing area :-) The food at the restaurant need real improvement , we had some Arabic dish..for a change ...after asian food for 2 weeks..I think this dishes should be removed from the menu... The pizza was good ! We will not come back to Westin Phuket .…
Always wonderful to come back! We have been returning guests to the Westin Siray Bay since many years. We came directly once the island opened following covid lockdown in Summer 2021 and again now in 2022 and are delighted to see how well things have picked up! Great location and nice pools to relax in while overlooking the bay. Phuket town ist only a short drive away and we highly recommend to spend some time there exploring the streets. The whole service team is just lovely and so attentive, from the security guys to the check-in team, buggy drivers, housekeeping, spa, maintenance and everyone who works in the kitchens, restaurants and bars. A very special mention goes to Frada, Hong and Darren. We have known Frada and Hong since we started coming here and they take such good care of us, preparing us mangoes and always with a big smile!…
Of all Marriott and Westin I stayed, this one poorest. Breakfast arrangement disaster. Stuggle even to get coffee on your table. Going to upper rooms always struggle waiting for cart. Almost missed flight. they slipped hotel taxi booking
I was so happy with my stay here. Booked just 3 nights, a little escape from all responsibilities and for some much needed peace and quiet! This was exactly what I got. I loved it! The resort is beautifully maintained. Two pools are currently open plus the beach area where you can use paddle boards and kayaks. Recommend! I suspect it is not running at full occupancy due to the covid travel restrictions; this worked for me as it was so peaceful! There were plenty of beds and the Horizon Pool felt quite private with lots of small areas to relax. The sea view room was gorgeous. Spacious, large balcony, rain shower and bathtub. Water pressure was excellent and it was kept spotlessly clean. Really good selection of food with a variety of cuisines. I was also pleased they had soy milk for coffee! The buggies to get around the resort were amazing. There are lots of steps as the hotel is set on several levels. Mostly, I walked but the service was always there as fast. The gym is really spacious and well equipped - it’s also open 24hours I think! Perfect for early risers! I had a 90min de-stress massage at the Heavenly Spa and it was just what I needed! The spa staff were all lovely. Sindy was my masseuse. If I had been there longer I would have definitely done another couple of treatments. The front desk were very helpful and accommodating in helping with taxis and covid travel tests. Every member of staff I encountered was so warm and friendly. I must give a special mention to Kat who was especially caring and attentive in the Seasonal Tastes restaurant! I would definitely return. Perfect stay for what I was looking for!…
