After spending a week in smaller hotels we weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived at the large Westin resort. From initial greeting from the excellent reception staff especially front desk employee Gas we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of service. We had a deluxe Seaview room with great views over the entire bay which was kept immaculately clean by the staff who did a brilliant side line in elephant and crab towel origami!!
The resort is thankfully slightly away from the main hubbub of Phuket but was very easy to get a taxi or to use the GRAB app(download this Uber style app before you arrive). Try Three Monkey restaurant and Natural restaurant
Food was always of the highest quality and we enjoyed the lunchtime vegetarian fajitas and mango gazpacho served by the lovely Ting in the Seasonal tastes restaurant.
Splash pool was at the top of the resort and was quiet and perfect for looking at the view and watching the sunset.
The hotel was quiet due to lack of Chinese visitors but this didn’t lower service levels.
Great spot for winter sun booked through secretescapes.com who provided a great holiday throughout our 3 centre trip.

This beautiful property is huge with great panoramic views is set on the hill. It was well maintained and had a remarkable buggy service to help you get around the property. Westin also had an online chat system that so it was convenient to stay in touch with the hotel when we were out and about.
It is a resort, so it is evident that it would be away from the hustle bustle. The hotel provided shuttle services (for a fee but cheaper than Grab or taxi) to Phuket Old Town, shopping centre and the Patong Beach). When out, we were able to book our ride back through the online chat.
The service was wonderful upon check-in. Being Marriott Bonvoy members, we got upgraded to the Duplex Suite. Thank you for that. There was a special breakfast area for the Titanium members with plenty of options. We would like to thank Fada and Hong for their hospitality and making our breakfast experience memorable.
The food at the hotel was delicious. We tried the EEST and Seasonal Tastes restaurants. Absolutely adored the presentation of the food.
However, we did have a setback. The room next to us was very noisy and we had to deal with that for 3 out of the 5 nights. Which was really inconvenient and didn’t let us sleep properly at night. We complained through the online chat - and the staff responded few mins later by calling our room to confirm if it was us who complained. The call was with good intent but irked us as we had fallen asleep again. The next morning we went to talk to management about it and we were assured that this was taken care of. The second time it happened we talked to a manager again and this time it was a different manager and we had to repeat the whole story again about what happened. There seemed to be a lack of communication among the staff members. This time we were given the option of changing our rooms but it was our last night — so we didn’t think it was a feasible solution.
There were two things that upset us about the option:
1. Why were we not given this option before?
2. We were not making the noise and disturbing others, so why should we bear the inconvenience of moving?
Upon checkout, we told the manager (a different one this time) about our experience of the noisy neighbours and again repeated the story. He was very kind about it, apologized and compensated us by offering us a ride to the airport. Thank you, Bom. Wish we had met you earlier.
Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would come back to this hotel again.

The Westin Phuket has expertly balanced the act of delivering platinum service, lodging, food and amenities while also maintaining safety and cleanliness.
The grounds are meticulously maintained with a legion of ground keepers that manicure the acres of natural foliage and keep the paths and pools crystal clear of leaves.
The concierge desk is always attended with helpful and friendly porters standing by to whisk patrons up to their picturesque hillside rooms with calming panoramic views of Siray Bay.
The morning breakfast (included with my stay) is offered at the Seasonal Tastes restaurant where patrons are met with smiles and greetings which have proved to be genuine and sincere. The truly friendly service paired with the expertly crafted dishes pose difficulty to make a choice each morning as all areas of the buffet are attractive and the various offerings delightfully enticing! Thank you Fada, Ting, Dee and Fatin for taking such wonderful care of us!

This is the second time I have stayed here, previously in November of 2018. I am not sure the downturn in service and quality of accommodation and food is because they are now owned by Mariott Bonvoy or not. Because my previous stay was fantastic myself and my partner decided to stay in January 2020.
Can I first say the staff are excellent. With special mention to Toto the bar tender at Prego and Joy our room attendant. I have travelled the world and stayed in all range of accommodation and I am extremely disappointed with;
We stayed in room 2422
• Rooms require a major upgrade. Holes in curtains, poor woodwork all chipped paint, lampshades stained and worn, sheets yellowing, bath was coming out of shell, balcony was tired and paint job desperately required.
• Pool service was non-existent, previously each sunbed was serviced by staff for drinks and food, one staff member behind the bar and that was it for over 30 -40 patrons.
• Breakfast was abysmal the quality and selection has reduced significantly. Nobody seems to be monitoring the levels of food adequately, 15-20 minutes to wait for an omelette, and the majority of the selection is for certain patrons.
• Food overall is absolutely…the only word I could use would be below average. We had lunch at Seasonal Tastes the whole chicken was reheated and the meat was tough and very dry. The jumbo prawns were overcooked and tasteless. We also dinned at Prego and I have Italian heritage and was brought up on fantastic Italian home cooking and this is miles away from even average. The menu is confused, mismatching of flavours, quality of produce below par, bread stale and tasteless. To be honest I don’t think I have ever tasted such truly bad Italian good in my life….btw you don’t put Mascarpone cheese on a pizza….REALLY and $10 Australian for a handful of “French Fries” that would not feed a cat is unreasonable.
• Coffee….I was desperate for a cup of coffee that is made by a decent coffee machine…please invest in a barista and good coffee….you will not regret it.
• The selling of wine in the lobby is sooo tacky.
• Overall hotel is unkeep and unloved...the ongoing maintenance of the hotel is very poor.
I am so very disappointed and we will be coming back to Thailand in November of 2020 and will not be staying with you again.

We arrived late in the evening and the check-in was not overly great. We were informed breakfast was not included with our room, which was fine, but the check-in agent made it seem like that was a bad thing and we should definitely sign up for the breakfast in the morning with her as it was only a special price at that time only.
Our room was decent, you can tell it is an older property. Cleanliness was good. The hotel rooms/villas are stacked on a hill, so the staff drive guests around in golf carts, or else the walk from the rooms to the pool/restaurant/lobby is quite far and steep.
The main pool is a bit small, and the seating is awkwardly laid out. The other pools were smaller and the areas around them were not well maintained. The main pool bar had good service. The gym facilities are dark.
The service overall was lacking, we didn’t find anyone to be particularly friendly, although housekeeping was always cheerful. The service at the breakfast restaurant was slow and we had to waive down servers as they never came to check on us.
Lastly, if you’re looking for a good beach resort, this is NOT it. The beach is quite far down below the hotel, and no one was there. The water was very dark and muddy looking, and the beach was not very nice.

We came in the sandbox program to the Westin. We warmly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to come to Phuket within the Sandbox Program. The facility is great, everything as you would want it from a 5 * hotel. All the people who take care of us here ensure the feel-good factor, which is definitely 150%! Whether it is the cleaning lady who takes care of everything in our room, the friendly service employee who brings the beer to our room in the evening, or the concierge team who brings us to our room with the golf carts in a friendly and humorous way. On behalf of all these people, we would like to highlight the breakfast team in particular: Frada, Hong, Ting, Prea, and especially Pick, who, with so much love and devotion, serve my wife a new soup every morning. Thanks to the Westin team, a great hotel where nothing is missing and which stands out especially because of its staff.

My husband and I loved this resort. We had a private villa with it's own pool, and I highly recommend splurging for this accommodation. It had a breathtaking view, was private, and perfect for a romantic getaway. The hotel view speaks for itself. We took advantage of the resort kayaking (included in your stay), and had a wonderful experience.
However, the best part of our stay was the unexpected hospitality from the employee who checked us in, Mark. We are Marriott bonvoy members, and travel often. Mark made a great impression on us, and stood out as a top tier customer service representative. Mark was a kind and efficient employee, who consistently went out of his way to help us, and exceeded all expectations of customer service. My husband is very interested in learning about culture of the area when we travel, and Mark answered my husband's endless questions, with such a wonderful and positive attitude. Mark ended up being our "go-to" guy, whom we asked for food recommendations, hotel needs, directions, and excursion recommendations. On our final day, we had a snorkeling excursion booked prior to our flight. Mark checked our luggage for the day and booked us a shower in the spa to ensure we had an opportunity to freshen up before the flight. At every turn, Mark went out of his way to provide 5 star service, and truly made our trip memorable. We wrote this review, just to say THANK YOU MARK!

Just want to share how Westin manipulates it’s 4 days 3 nights hotel stay voucher . I was unable to make it this March school holiday due to COVID-19 concerns in Thailand.
I asked the supervisor Theerawan in Feb whether he can extend my voucher which expires in end March 2020.
He rejected my request right away and told me the voucher is not extendable and so I didn’t went ahead to cancel my room reservation in Feb.
I heard from my colleague that her hotel voucher which she won at Westin Bangkok is able to extend till end of this year and hence decided to approach Chloe Lim who is assistant manager of Westin Singapore to help to check if I can extend my voucher.
I am really disappointed and amazed that Westin Siray Bay Phuket mentioned that it was considered that I have utilised my voucher because I didn’t went ahead to cancel the booking in first place!
I was surprised to hear this as I don’t think their hotel occupancy is high during the March school holiday period which I have booked!
And what’s the point of me cancelling the booking since Theerawan told me that the voucher is not extendable?
This doesn’t makes sense and you can see that Westin is not sincere in offering free accommodation for 3 nights!
As I have 2 kids with me I will also be topping up to add in additional beds for them and I think Westin can also get to earn some money from me although I will be having 3 nights for free. I will also be paying for my kids breakfast in the hotel as well. I assumed that the hotel business is always very thriving for them to reject customers at this time.

We enjoyed a nearly three week stay at the Westin. We had a great routine of working out in their well kept gym, swimming in the large pool (of which they have two), enjoying the balcony pool attached to our room, the spaciousness of our room, the great and consistent cleaning of our room, the reliable transport in an oversized golf cart to our room (which was on a steep jungle hillside as were all the other rooms), the shuttle system from the airport was good, the taxi system to all local areas was good, the prices for everything was a fraction of what you’d pay in the USA, the hotel restaurants were good as well as the morning breakfast buffet (pay for that extra when you book your stay). Laundry service: I would suggest having a local taxi bring you to a place that does it all for you. 50 baht per kilogram is a good price. I would suggest saying, “no fabric softener please” since it’s quite perfumed and wayyyyy to much…you’ll end up smelling like a perfumery. The rooms all come with a giant umbrella. Take it with you and maybe take a second one from the front desk…rain can be quite intense. Also…go down to the beach on days when the bay is calm and take a kayak out for a cruise. Their are longboats and cool looking shoreline to checkout. You can have good workouts, get good sleep, eat tons, get shirts made (I had ten work shirts made at a local Thai/Chinese tailor with good cloth and all the customizations I asked for). Most importantly, the staff were kind and thoughtful.

Westin Sriray resort is located on a bay beach with a rocky shore and zero waves. Not nice for swimming. The resort has many pools on different levels to try out instead. They also have private villas with nice sized pools and lounges. Resort staff was friendly. One bar staff made a strawberry smoothie for us but she tasted the smoothie with a spoon and then used the same spoon to mix it again so that was not something I wanted added to that beverage. The pizza at the restaurant was really good the first day but then every day afterward was not the same. The breakfast buffet was very nice with many selections and pleasant view, friendly hostesses. The resort has a water duct and pots flowing through the property with beautiful plants but unfortunately it might have been the reason there were so many mosquitoes. Our villa also had so many mosquitoes that it was uncomfortable. My kids got so many bites that we did not enjoy going out to the outdoor pools and restaurants. During our stay there was a huge Indian wedding with a fire dance and display on the shoreline. The resort is not located next to any little restaurants or shops. There are taxi vans available to transport to Phuket Town Central Mall, about 15-20 mins away.
