Samkong palace is more like it for the price. A very clean room with a/c and modern furnishings. The staff was very nice. Cold water awaiting you in the lobby, coffee, tea and toast for breakfast. Can't ask for much more than that! Rooms cleaned daily on request and free wifi. Be sure to ask for the slip with the code.
A small budget hotel in Phuket. Not much facility but ok to stay. The room is clean the bed is not bad. No elevator, therefore not good for familty with elderly member. The location is not near any interesting spot of Phuket but not too far from the city center. Shops and convenience store are in walking distance.
Very nice apartment large room, no food preparation facilities though. Serviced daily and spotlessly clean. Staff pleasant and efficient. As a place to stay near to Bangkock Phuket International Hospital while having work done to one's teeth or bod it is excellent, a couple of minutes walking and you are in the hospital. Breakfast is only toast and coffee but that suited me. No pool, fitness or other facilities of a similar ilk but I was not interested in that sort of thing so no problem.
We spent 2 days in this hotel in February 2015. It was a good clean hotel with a very good price/quality ratio. A simple breakfast was included. WiFi worked OK, staff was friendly and helpful. There are a lot of nice restaurants around, and also very simple ones where locals eat, so it was a great experience to try extra spicy truly Thai food.
Returning after three years, it's like coming back home to a friendly, clean and proper place. The receptionist Ploi still remembers me! Her colleague Wan is new. General manager Tao, a local islander, speaks fluent English and is most helpful. The in-house security is good. Now a mini-fridge next to the reception counter offers self-service welcome drinks: a choice of refreshing citronella tea or water. Morning continental breakfast is available on the table in the lobby. At other times, you can help yourself to tea and coffee whenever you like, and I love it as you don't have to go upstairs to make your own beverage! My room on the first floor was bright and cheerful. The bath towels were arranged like a standing white swan on the big double bed, a nice touch. Shampoo and bath…
If you are looking for nothing but a bed then consider it. The place is not nice, in the middle of nowhere. I do not recommend staying in Phuket city and you should try to stay near patong or any other beach but this hotel is even far from the center of phuket city.
We've stayed here twice and recommended to friend who also loved their stay. It's a short walk to the hospital for cosmetic and dental surgery. A little further out of Old Phuket but hiring a scooter your not far from anything. Patong is a 20min ride away the rooms are big and have balconies, security 24hrs Wifi in room. Handy street food and it's all good, looking forward to our next stay here. It's a home away from home.
Really good value, modern and cozy. Room was really clean and big with king size bed, safe, nice bathroom, air-con, balcony, TV, fridge and free water in it. Friendly and helpful staff. 30 minutes walk from the Old Town of Phuket but an hour or so from main beaches. Would recommend it if you need quiet, clean place for good sleep.
Excellent hotel. 10 / 10 for cleanliness. Room as everything we needed and far surpassed what we would expect for the price. Compliment ry water in the fridge. Free but somewhat small breakfast, whist other not-so-nice hotels would charge extra for. Nice and quiet so easy to relax and sleep
Lovel hotel! It's very clean, modern, and good value for money! The rooms are huge. We have a large bed, Tv, free wifi, ensuite with hot shower, balcony and fridge (great for string milk for cereal, and for keeping fruit!) We've stayed here for 5 days and having travelled about its the nicest place we've stayed so far. The staff are so friendly and know who you are when you go downstairs to the lobby etc. the lobby is good- tea, coffee and toast! The only problem is it is a bit out of the way.., taxi drivers haven't really heard of it, and it can be expensive to get around (unless you're not afraid to get a moped, which you can arrange from the front desk, and it'll save you time and money!) the hotel do everything they can to make it easier for you though!! my boyfriend…
