I booked the 9 day yoga holiday retreat and was so happy in my decision! With all the choices in activities they offered I was slightly apprehensive as to how well these would be pulled off but I have to say every activity was so enjoyable. The spa treatments were luxurious and the tours I took part in were so fun. The regular yoga classes were also great. The hourly shuttles down to the beaches also worked well for that bit of flexibility. All the food and drinks offered at the resort were tasty and healthy and I had fun trying to work my way through the menu. Everyone there was super friendly and kind and the accomodation was so comfortable and spacious. As soon as I stepped foot inside CC’s Hideaway I just felt such a nice relaxed and peaceful vibe. Definitely recommend CC’s if you’re travelling solo and looking at taking some time out for yourself.…

We have had a good Yoga Retreat package at CC's Hideaway. The Yoga practice twice a day was good and to our liking. The food selection and quality for our 3 meals each day was also very good. We also enjoyed ourselves with the selection of different Program A (mostly outdoors) activities for our stay there. What impressed us was the wonderful staff and the very good service rendered during our stay. We will definitely be back and have started recommending to our other Yoga friends back home.

I went there on my own for a few days of yoga and it couldn't have been better. The quality of the yoga classes and instructors was far beyond my expectations, the hotel has a very friendly atmosphere, well located, clean, kind staff... I can't wait to go back soon :)

Overall I wasn’t happy with my stay and checked out early and only got partial refund which was frustrating. The rooms were overpriced and avaerage. I booked the tranquility package but when I checked in no one advised how it worked so I had to search online and in emails. Then finally found the booklet which wasn’t clear. I then worked out the yoga times only 1 in morning and 1 in afternoon at set times. The worst thing was the yoga room was above my room so I heard thumping on the floorboard all the time even when classes weren’t on. When I asked to change rooms the receptionist was rude and made it extremely difficult and made it feel like it was my problem deal with it. That’s why I asked to get a refund and leave only after staying 1 day and 1 night but they didn’t explain what the refund would entail before they gave it to me. I thought I would get the training 3 nights refunded as it was their fault. They only refunded 2 nights. By then I was so annoyed - I copped my loss and left. …

Sorry this didn’t work out for you. When I hear that my staff was rude, I immediately research this on our end. As most reviews will attest, “rude” is the opposite of what most guests think of our staff. I was unable to verify your claim. As to noise, our staff indicated you made a complaint about the noise when no one was in the studio above your room. When a customer comes and almost immediately asks to leave without giving us a chance to address their concerns, we will impose the stated early cancellation fees in accordance with the booking conditions. We were more than willing to move you to another room and a manager would have made amends for the first class or possibly even 2 missed classes. We are perplexed why you didn’t ask reception for any help regarding your program. We do acknowledge that your having a room only booking prior to your retreat is why your retreat package was initially overlooked. We do have mangers and a retreat coordinator who could have helped if they had known. Our GM became aware as you were already beginning to checkout. We will modify our operations to internally confirm customers get their consultations but after thousands of customers over many years- this really hasn’t been necessary. The rooftop yoga was the main reason I came to this place daily for 30 days and stayed only because of the awesomeness of all the staff: from the front desk, to the drivers, the tour guides and the yoga teachers. The staff is the reason why this place will continue to exist, not the facilities, definitely not the tours (you overpay for something you can do on your own) and the yoga schedule is not quiet followed, no consistencies (teachers are different each time, except for two regular teachers). The rest of the teachers are substitutes? But, they are awesome!!

I stayed at CCsHideaway in early March for 5 nights - 1 'normal' night and then 4 nights on the Detox Package. The room was simple, clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable (spacious bathroom, balcony with chairs, comfortable large bed, smart TV). I chose the Detox Package as it offered the most yoga classes and meant I didn't need to think about what to eat etc as it was all organised for me. It was the most generous detox package I've had - between the smoothies, shots, fruit platters, gorgeous breakfast bowls, salads etc, there's no chance of going hungry! There is a consultation & follow up offered with a nutritionist when you choose this package if needed. It's a cozy resort with a small central pool, located up a steep hill away from the busy beach area (just a 45 min hike up to the Big Buddha), but they offer a free shuttle up and down to 6 points along Kata/Karon beach throughout the day which is great if you want to experience the tourist buzz. I had two treatments at the resort's spa and just wish I'd booked in more! The prices are competitive with what you'll find in town, but lovely and private and the therapist is very good! The yoga classes were all great - there was a good mix each day (2 or 3 classes to choose from most days) including Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Aerial & beach yoga (morning and sunset) & pilates one day too. The instructors (who come in to the resort from outside for their specific classes) were all lovely; Alonso is a Chilean yoga instructor who is currently based there at the resort for a few months and is absolutely brilliant! He has a fantastic way of teaching, really knows his stuff and makes you want to do more. You can follow him on instagram #alonsodevgram As a solo traveller just wanting to chill out / reset / have some me time, CCsHideaway was just what the Dr ordered. Where do I begin! What an amazing experience staying at CCs. I went on the 9 day yoga experience and it was incredible. It was tucked away in the hills and I had a room overlooking the ocean which was amazing to wake up to every morning. The staff was incredible the food was top notch an overall 10 in my experience. I met some incredible people on my stay that were on the same journey as myself. Christina was a doll, Nim you were my favorite what an excellent human being and tour guide to show you the area. Chef noom provides you with some of the best food you could imagine and Win, Yaya, and Mimi were the best trio behind the bar and waitstaff. I can’t wait to come back to visit you guys! Thank you for everything it was life changing for me!

I went there for 10 days with the Yoga package. The fact that everything is included in the package makes you vacation so easy and relaxing! Nothing to think about, just enjoying all the activities they offer. The Yoga teachers are so experimented and the classes so perfect and all different, the food is just so good and healthy, the activities each day are absolutely perfect and ! As a solo traveler I made new friends that were in the same mindset as mine! The rooms are very comfortable and clean, so are the beds. I slept so well! I highly recommend CC's Hideaway, especially for solo travelers!

Wonderful place, quite, high quality service, wonderful food, great stuff.I went for a yoga retreat, the program was ultra professional,great teachers and treatments. I also took many activities that were well organized and wonderfully guided. It was an amazing vacation thanks to this place, I'll surely come back. Spent 5 days here and it was a great break. This hotel is high up in the hills overlooking the ocean. Can be difficult if you are not athletic to walk up to....but they have an hourly shuttle down to the beach and other points in the city which works very well. Yoga was excellent with strong teachers who paced class enough even for a beginner like myself. Wife took the ariel yoga which is a bit challenging, but fun. Because of its intimate size it feels like a private international club and people make friends quickly. The staff is vey helpful with suggestions on everything. They offer various tours/cooking classes which is a nice addition to your stay. The included breakfast was good, and each day there was a variety of healthy food. Will definitely return!
