To some it may seem petty but I found so many things wrong with this hotel. On the positive side staff were all very friendly and generally helpful despite English being very poor in some. Rooms were large and kept spotless by the room staff but struggled to put any clothes away due to having not a single drawer or wardrobe in the room, only a small rail with a couple of hangers. The swim up pools were great but thankfully ours was in the sun most of the day, only half of the rooms got any sun so be careful were you are. The larger pool areas seemed very quiet which was just as well as the number of loungers was very limited, most having missing arms of requiring replacement. Breakfast I personally found dreadful, not a big fan of salad and stew although some did seem to find this adequate. constantly running out of cups which took 10 minutes before another 3 or 4 would come from the kitchen. poor selection of bread and pastries all of which generally kept open for the flies to feast on. Cant comment on the evening food as we ate out every night but did hear the complimentary meal to be very poor. The hotel did try to encourage residents to stay in the hotel at night with evening entertainment but very rarely seen anyone sat listening. Perhaps the silly prices for alcohol didn't help £25 for two small glasses of wine and £5 for a small bottle of local beer. Perhaps the worst thing about this hotel is the location, a good 20 minutes walk into the main area of Karon which I personally found to have nothing to offer other than overcrowded restaurants and the odd bar surrounded by weed shops. Twenty minutes of walking around motorbikes and badly parked cars just made the walk an ordeal several times a day ,and evening. .Not been to Phuket before and if I did return I would avoid Karon with Kata being much nicer. Finally on checkout yesterday morning staff were insistent we should pay £2.50 for a glass we broke in our room! never I have been asked to pay for a breakage in any hotel I have stayed in worldwide. Sorry but some major investment required in the rundown hotel with a management who seem to know how to run a hotel well.

We stayed here for 10 nights and couldn’t fault it - the service was excellent. They gave us a complimentary meal voucher so we ate at the restaurant once evening and that was nice. We enjoyed the singers most nights and would stay again.

Hi we arrived on 1st January although we should have been there on morning of 31st December. When we arrived had a lovely greeting from the reception but found they could speak very little English. Our rep was there but didnt greet us. Our room was ok bit outdated but clean. The pool which is lovely but you have 2 big steps to get into so unless your agile or have dodgy knees can be a bit awkward. I thought the pool went all round the hotel but it cuts off insections. There is a fridge and kettle. The swim up bar is ok but we were not aware you pay Vat and service charge on food and drinks, there is no map or itinery in the room when l did manage to speak to the rep 5 days into the holiday she advised its all on my phone on tui app which on holiday l dont use my phone unhelpful. Depending on if yr staying a week or 2 you get a free evening meal. 1 for 10 days, 2 if a fortnight. Breakfast is good good variety and staff lovely. Evening entertainment is the same singer every night. Outside not alot around, a few bars and a couple of restaurants. Its about 20 depending how fast you walk to shope and beach, thete is a shuttle runs twice daily only drops off. If you like the gym dont bother 70% doesnt work l did mention to the rep but no comeback. My partner isnt allowed in the sun so normally does the gym reads in the shade so he joined the gym Outside the hotel its 600 bah a week. Just yo advise the air conditioning is old works well but nosie. All in all nice clean hotel food ok lovely people but l wouldnt go back also far from the beach and not alot outside. Take mosi stuff. A must is katon busy lively place.

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon trip to 3 different places in Thailand. We have been staying in Air bob's so this was out little luxury stay. Staff are nice and friendly, rooms a little dated but clean ( apart from very dusty behind bed ) . We told them it was honeymoon trip but this wasn't acknowledged at all throughout our stay and no little nice touches were added. One of the main reasons was we loved the room service delivered on a boat concept but on the day we ordered food we were told the lady had hurt her back so no boat delivery. Food was nice though just a shame the whole unique concept of the hotel didn't happen! Breakfast ok but not restocked a lot so if you go later the choice isn't great. Spa was lovely and very reasonably priced!

We stayed at the Access Resort for Christmas and New Year. What a lovely hotel, all,of the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. We were given a free meal on one evening, the hotel food was delicious. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order. Every room had a swim up pool and we loved the room service being delivered by a canoe. There was a resident singer every evening, who was really good, we enjoyed listening to her. I would like to say a massive thank you to the receptionist who gave us the most special room on our last night, it was pure luxury. Alcoholic drinks were very expensive in the hotel, make sure you know how to convert the Thai baht before you order wine! We had the most special holiday and will return one day. Thank you to everyone at Access Resort who helped make this happen.

Just returned after 3 weeks at this hotel, yes the hotel is a bit dated in places but after been shut down due to covid that is to be expected, they do seem to be working on some forms of renovation. We were very happy with our room overlooking a garden area with sun loungers, large king bed, bath (didn't use), good size walk in shower, seating area, fridge, tv and plenty of storage space. (Room 215). The swim up pool was ideal for cooling down, popping back to your room to get drinks or having a longer swim. As previously reviewed by other guests the buffet breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. Every staff member we had contact with was excellent and so helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. We celebrated our anniversary whilst there and the room cleaners must have seen the cards on the unit as early that evening we had a knock at the door and a cake was delivered from management and the waitress was very apologetic that she couldn't deliver by canoe as it was raining at the time. There was one major contradiction to the hotel description and that was the WiFi, from day 1 to day 21 it was rubbish, some days no connection and when it connected it was slower than the old dial up speeds of the early nineties, also it was unprotected network, my anti virus advised it was not secure to use. I did mention this several times at reception and was told IT man working on it. I found this a bit strange as all the restaurants and even bars nearby had secure wifi that worked at fast speeds. That said, it wouldn't stop us visiting again but maybe the location would.

Great hotel - staff all very friendly and helpful with any questions. Rooms are fantastic- bath and shower with toiletries provided. Fridge in room, you get 2 free bottles of water a day. There are beers and water in the fridge that you can buy. Big room with twin beds , TV, seating area. Kettle with tea and coffee. Great beds on the terrace for relaxing while looking over the swim up pool. If you order room service it is delivered by boat to your terrace, it was fab and the food was great too. We were given a free buffet meal one night which was ok but the food you buy is much better. Had a drink at the swim up bar, lovely. Breakfast is buffet style with Bacon/egg station, cereal, pancakes / pastries and curry’s. Loved this hotel , would stay again Some good restaurants close by Mama Jin and Cappadocia both fab.

Visited with my son and friend for 10 nights and had the most amazing time, the staff where absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough for everything they done. It was my sons birthday while we where here and the hotel staff ordered a cake for him with balloons and all sang happy birthday which he loved. All staff where very friendly, always had a smile on their faces and where always happy to help. My little boy got lots of attention here and didn’t want to come home. The room was always kept clean and tidy with someone coming in everyday to clean and make beds, the pool area was lovely and great food and entertainment on a night I loved the singer. About a 15 minute walk to the beach which I thought was fine but there is taxis right outside the hotel which weren't too expensive. Always plenty of choice for breakfast and a lovely restaurant area. Thankyou very much to all at access resort, love Sam and Lailand xxx

My 1st time in Thailand and I travelled solo. I love this hotel and I love the staff. Very helpful and always smiling and nothing is to much trouble , I would definitely come here again, swim up pool was excellent and the pool staff work very hard daily to keep everything looking nice, there's free electric safes in every room ,it's literally 10/15 minute walk to beach with loads of cafes and bara along the route, so many places to eat on your door step and 7/11 shop 5 minutes from the hotel with a ATM outside for you to get cash, My room was cleaned daily and beers and water topped up in the fridge daily, room service is good aswel and you can order food 1030 pm shut off, I left a small tip for cleaners as they work real hard, 10 minute taxi ride to patong beach and the famous Bangla road....wow. thanks for making my stay a pleasant 1, I stayed in room 134 for 10 days ..... I hope to see you again in the next year or 2. Thanks access resort and villa ♥️
