Stayed here on the first 2 weeks of February in room 114 a very quiet part of the resort,

We requested a room which would get the sun most of the day via email.

On arrival we got our request & were very happy with our swim up room, Staff are as others have said...Happy, Polite & Very approachable.

This hotel can do with some improvements around the pools as there are weeds growing out of the pools overflow drains "See pictures"

Entertainment also needs improving "It's very poor"
Leaving resort for evening meals going into town centre about a 10 minute hazardous walk amongst the traffic with horrendous fumes from vehicles which made for a poor experience "Not the hotels fault"
However if there was better entertainment in resort we would have dined in & draught beer rather than bottled would be a great improvement.

Would we visit again? Yes if improvements were made.

I cannot praise this hotel enough, the staff, the hotel and the food were excellent. We had a pool
Villa which was beautiful and had plenty of room with a sofa as well. We had breakfast with our room and we cannot fault any of it, it was continentally being cleaned and food replenished. All staff were friendly and helpful. It is about a 25 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants but you can get a taxi from the hotel which is 500 bahts which is about £5 which is quite expensive for a 5 minute drive but worth it when it is so hot. The hotel grounds and facilities are really clean and I would highly recommend. Thank you to all staff for a faultless and beautiful holiday.

The staff here are so welcoming and helpful. Any problems are resolved quickly. Hotel has a beautiful set up with rooms winding round the water. Rooms are beautifully clean. The room service delivered by boat is a totally unique experience. The painting round the pool could do with a paint and more cleaning of the water to free it from foliage, leaves etc would be good but overall a very pleasant stay.

We’ve just returned from a lovely; relaxing 2 week break at Access. The pool access from all rooms and private terrace with comfortable loungers was a huge luxury and bonus and we enjoyed having this facility & used it every day.
The staff here are amazing & will do anything they can to help you.
Yes it’s true that there are no drawers in the room but we got round it by asking for extra coat hangers (which were delivered immediately) & put as much as we could on these leaving only undies in the case. No problem!
Also extra tea & coffee, as much as you want, will be provided by the cleaner if you ask. Same goes for bottled water.
Pool/beach towels can be changed daily if you ask.
We can highly recommend FAMILY BAR which an be found on turning right out of the hotel. It’s run by Lee & Emily who are a lovely; friendly couple and put on great nights with good music & strong cocktails. They are also helpful with local advice.

Visited here with my wife 19th March till 2nd April, was extremely Hot,rooms were very spacious and serviced every day with fresh pool towels. All the room have the pool right outside the patio doors which was a good send, also plenty of other sunbeds around with no trouble getting one. Pool bar served good cocktails, but was a little run down could do with some TLC.

The pool was always lovely and warm, the swim up bar served good cocktails but irt was a bit run down and needed some TLC as did the pool, didn't put us off though we were there most afternoons. Room service delivered by boat was good and the food was good and large portions we shared, recommended Mama Jins across the road the food is fantastic,we ate here a lot.

Beach is a hot 15 mins walk with loads of shops, restaurants along the way amazing beach, beds and brollies on the beach but not toilets, you have to go in one of the bars/restaurant and pay 20 bart each to use. Recommend the Jame Bond Island Tour that was brilliant, if you planing to go out and about by taxi download BOLT which is there version of Uber and half the price of the normal taxis.

Worth staying at this resort, wasn't busy when we visited due to covid so nearly empty about 6 couples,so there wasn't any entertainment but they were set up for some,Happy hour 17.00-19.00 well worth doing.

All in all a very nice stay with lovely friendly staff that will help with anything you want

To some it may seem petty but I found so many things wrong with this hotel. On the positive side staff were all very friendly and generally helpful despite English being very poor in some. Rooms were large and kept spotless by the room staff but struggled to put any clothes away due to having not a single drawer or wardrobe in the room, only a small rail with a couple of hangers. The swim up pools were great but thankfully ours was in the sun most of the day, only half of the rooms got any sun so be careful were you are.
The larger pool areas seemed very quiet which was just as well as the number of loungers was very limited, most having missing arms of requiring replacement. Breakfast I personally found dreadful, not a big fan of salad and stew although some did seem to find this adequate. constantly running out of cups which took 10 minutes before another 3 or 4 would come from the kitchen. poor selection of bread and pastries all of which generally kept open for the flies to feast on. Cant comment on the evening food as we ate out every night but did hear the complimentary meal to be very poor. The hotel did try to encourage residents to stay in the hotel at night with evening entertainment but very rarely seen anyone sat listening. Perhaps the silly prices for alcohol didn't help £25 for two small glasses of wine and £5 for a small bottle of local beer.
Perhaps the worst thing about this hotel is the location, a good 20 minutes walk into the main area of Karon which I personally found to have nothing to offer other than overcrowded restaurants and the odd bar surrounded by weed shops. Twenty minutes of walking around motorbikes and badly parked cars just made the walk an ordeal several times a day ,and evening. .Not been to Phuket before and if I did return I would avoid Karon with Kata being much nicer. Finally on checkout yesterday morning staff were insistent we should pay £2.50 for a glass we broke in our room! never I have been asked to pay for a breakage in any hotel I have stayed in worldwide. Sorry but some major investment required in the rundown hotel with a management who seem to know how to run a hotel well.

Stayed over Christmas & New year . Got back yesterday . We are missing the place already . The staff are all lovely as are the rooms & the food . We attended the Christmas eve gala event which was very enjoyable & reasonably priced ( £35 a head ) which included all the food you could eat + full evening of entertainment. The drinks are extra but i think were reasonably priced . For instance a bottle of local beer is around £2.50 . We booked for the New year's eve gala which apparently was part of our holiday deal ( Tui ) so it was free apart from the drinks but were really disappointed not to attend due to illness which was no fault of the hotel . The location of the hotel is on a quieter side of Karon which suited me & my wife as we like to walk places. A word of warning though the roads are not for the faint hearted . We weren't phased at all though & christened one part of the walk to the beach " Crazy Corner " closely followed by " Suicide straight " lol .. All in all a lovely hotel & lovely resort .
We would definitely return at the drop of a hat. Thanks for the lovely memorys Access Resort .

We stopped here in early March and had the most relaxing time. The Hotel is very serene with spacious cool rooms with the best air conditioning we have had in 7 years in Thailand. The patios outside your rooms are supplied with Sofa/sunbeds and all lead directly onto the stunning pools with your own under water bar stools. There are a few beds in communal areas for when the sun is not on your own poolside patio, however there could do with being more available. The Breakfast was okay , with decent choice, but could have done with being warmer. They have digital thermometers, which clearly don't work. However the service was excellent with superb staff all very friendly and helpful.
The location is also good. Yes its about 15min walk from beach, but this goes past great bars, restaurants, shops and temples on route. There is also the blue wooden buses going in both directions which can be flagged down right outside the hotel. There are also great local amenities with "Supper Cheap" supermarket and a great off license, both very close by. And in "Ma Ma Jins" there is one of the best restaurants in whole of Karon Beach is just across the road. ,

A friend had recommended that my husband and I go to Thailand for our winter holiday/honeymoon ( we were married in July) I had only ever heard good things about Thailand , many people claiming to love Thailand , its beautiful etc etc. We therefore went with high expectations. We were extremely disappointed. It absolutely depends on what hotel you stay in and what area you stay in. In regards to this hotel, the staff were lovely, smiley, polite and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate depending on your tastes and included , fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cheese, ham, egg station, toast, pancakes , bacon and there were numerous asian dishes to include rice and noodle dishes. We ate at the bar and in the poolside restaurant several times and can recommend the spaghetti bolognase, pizza, curry, noodles, salads, basically it was all pretty good and reasonably priced. HOWEVER part of the reason that I chose this hotel was because of the swim up terraces. I went to sit out on mine with my book in the beautiful warmth and within minutes there was an horrendous smell! I could see that there was a drain on my terrace and it appeared to be coming from there. As it was the evening I didn't want to bother the staff or TUI and hoped that it wouldn't be there the next day! The following day we went to the spa in the morning and has some fabulous treatments. We then got the hotels complimentary shuttle bus to the beach at 2pm (they have one at 10 and 2 but do not do a return which I think they child also do nice a day.
Driving down the main road outside the hotel which is more like a dual carriageway/motorway with 4 lanes of very busy traffic and no pavement , I was not impressed, the area looked very run down and certainly did not have a holiday vibe. The area surrounding the beach was dirty with rubbish overflowing from the bins and I just did not like the vibe at all. The beach itself was very nice, beautiful sand , warm sea, 200 baht for 2 loungers and an umbrella. There were no beach bars as such bit there were tents selling drinks , smoothies , coconuts etc. When we went to walk back to the hotel, about a 10 or 15 minute walk, my stress levels increased , trying to negotiate this very busy road with other tourists, locals carrying on their business. As we got half way up , there was an overwhelming smell , the same smell that I had smelt on my terrace. It was clear to me at this time that the smell was the sewers. we had to get taxis everywhere

Very nice hotel with fantastic staff! Large spacious hotel rooms and a lovely private terrace with direct access to the pool. On arrival we were upgraded and got an even bigger room with both double bed and sofa and bathroom with both separate shower and bubble bath. The pool was well maintained and the pool bar had good selection and decent prices. The evening portiere (June?) Was absolutely outstanding. Always very friendly and helpful. when I injured my neck he fixed, in no time, a softer pillow than what was included in the hotel's assortment -at 11pm.Deeply grateful. The hotel is located a bit from the beach but in return you do not have to listen to all the noise from the bars and the trafic. The hotel area becomes a quiet oasis. There are lots of nice affordable restaurants / cafes / bars just around the corner. (almost next door to a vegetarian restaurant). The location of the hotel may not be optimal for toddler families due to the traffic but for everyone else I highly recommend the hotel. If we visit karon again we will definitely stay here!
