I stayed here for a few days recently and can recommend the place. It is well located opposite a beautiful beach. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was good value (considering the prime location) and the room was clean and large. The room even had a bath tub!! The restaurant enjoys a pleasant sea breeze. Many eating venues are within a comfortable walk.
Resturant was not as good this year evening meal or breakfast, No omelette man this year we were there Feb, 2019 this was our 5 year at this hotel staff very good rooms always clean pool good and clean some of the sun beds were broken and the umberellas not save the wind took them over the wall. The hotel is close to the beach shops & markets.
I likeed this hotel ,they even had umbrellas and slippers , the pool was so nice and there was no time limit for the pool, even at night you could swim.the hotel staff was polite and helpfull،the breakfast was good and delicious and the hotel location was great it was near to the beach and around the hotel was currency exchange ,market, pharmacy ,many restaurants and shops ,the room was clean and large but the bathroom is old and dirty and needs to be renovated and the wifi was not free at this hotel.
This Hotel has a very good location on Karon Beach. Our room was well proportioned with a nice balcony and somewhat of a seaview. We liked the room. Breakfast was very average even for a 2/3 star property. While the staff were friendly they seemed very unmotivated and the general command of English was low, even on reception. I did note that >90% of guests were Russian. We had a room on the back block and this involves walking up a side path passing motorbikes, deliveries and a hotel maintenance workshop. The back of the hotel was very untidy. To generalise the hotel would benefit from a good clean-up or refurbishment. Nevertheless if the price meets your budget, room and location could be a decider.
Pros: Friendly staff. Everyone is really helpful and they really love kids :) Nice pool areas and perfect temperature in the water. Location is perfect! Just a stone throw from the beach and nearby Karon Marketplace. Rooms are spacious and kept clean. We stayed in a standard room. Large bed and bathroom with a shower and a separate bathtub. The balcony was also very big and perfect for late evenings. Cons: The umbrellas by the pool is a hazard. They fly away with the slightest wind. I got hit in the head once, after that we didn’t use them anymore. The breakfast is not exactly European standard. It’s acceptable but hard to find anything except watermelon and plain white bread for the kids to eat. We stayed here for a week, would have stayed longer if they weren’t fully booked.…
My wife and I, both from Australia, stayed here for two nights in room 1403 (on the 4th floor, the top floor). We found the room to be very comfortable and spacious, with two single beds anchored together to make a fine and big double bed. It was also spotlessly clean. We ate breakfast at the hotel on both days -- that was maybe the only mediocre event -- an okay breakfast, Western and Asian -- quite okay with nothing exceptional to report. We also had two evening meals and in both cases the service was exceptionally good, and friendly -- perhaps the food was again nothing to get special remarks, but the atmosphere (open air) was very much to our liking. Wi-fi was fast enough to stream a Netflix movie. Air-con easy to control and capable. Beach access was right across the road (we did not try swimming, but others did). We'd go back, to be sure.…
Had dinner here last Monday evening. There was only one other table with guests and we had to wait nearly an hour to be served and for our meal to arrive. I ordered a prawn cocktail and it consisted of two bbq tiger prawns in their shells on a pile of salad, nothing like the picture in the menu. My hawaiian pizza (wanted simple meal after botched prawn cocktail). Further disappointment as pizza had no ham, 3 small pieces of pineapple and heaps of onion rings, capsicum, olives and pieces of chicken. Again nothing like the menu picture of a traditional ham and pineapple pizza. Meal cost in excess of $40 aussie and i would rate it 1/10. That point because the restaurant was open.
If you are travelling to phuket i do not recommed to stay here...not clean...room very poor...too much walking from the reception to reach our room...i am really disappointed...staff not helping..they were fixing something and the water gone out without any notice...
Stayed there with family through booking.com even requesting on e mail and through phone calls the request for a interconnected rooms was never met although we booked many weeks before arrival.Location is bang opposite Karon beach across the road, peaceful location, breakfast was okay live omellete station, noodles chicken fried rice ,sausages'Ham bacon etc fruits n juices ..cornflakes etc.Rooms were big n neat with minibar (chargeable reasonably)free water daily, walking distance to market and 7/11 stores .Main drawback was Wi fi no wifi in rooms...in this age of connectivity where even small cafes offer free wifi There were many adjacent hotel to this hotel where wifi was free n working .
The best point is having this hotel right across the beach. It was really convenient as there are also many restaurants around it. The room is quite old as seen in the wooden windows in the bathroom but the rooms were clean. The staff are also quite nice and accommodating. I would stay again given the location.
