We have just returned from the Marina Phuket Resort, Thailand and have had a fantastic holiday. We loved the villas hidden by the flora giving customers privacy. Staff were very attentive and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the Salathai Restaurant for breakfast/evening meal which had lots of choice. On Valentine's Day we enjoyed a fabulous a-la-carte meal at the 'On the Rocks' Restaurant with a wonderful romantic setting overlooking Karon Beach. Staff knew who we were which gave a personal touch. The resort was well positioned for shops/bars. All in all we would recommend this resort to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

We had such an amazing time at Marina Phuket Resort and can't wait to return! The service was impeccable from our airport pickup by the hotel, to help getting taxis to go sightseeing, to the pool bar and meal service. We only knew a few Thai phrases but the hotel staff's English skills made it easier on us - we were very appreciative!!

The room was big with really nice touches and a very cold AC :) The pool is large and we'll kept with enough space around that it never felt busy. People did reserve chairs so we did the same, but it seemed like you could usually find a spot pretty easily. And the garden is spectacular! I loved hearing all the unique bird calls and seeing all the native plants.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were lovely. While drinks are not included the prices were reasonable. The meals were diverse and had something for everyone, I don't think we saw the same dish twice during our week long stay.

The location is superb! Beach access and an easy walk to other bars, shops and restaurants.

We stay in a lot of hotels across the US and internationally and this is one of our favorites. I can't stress enough how fantastic this place was and that you definitely should stay here!!

This is the last day of a 9 night stay for us here at the Marina Phuket Resort and we have had an amazing experience. I can honestly say that it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are helpful, friendly and so polite and respectful (Thai people generally seem to be ❤️). Our room and the hotel grounds are kept lovely. I especially love all of the exotic and tropical plants everywhere in the hotel. Our room is cleaned well every day with fresh bottles of water (4 of them), fresh beach towels and towels and all things we have used are replenished (tea bags, bath crystals, bath gel etc). It feels more like a serviced apartment which is perfect for us as we like our own space. You do obviously have the support of the hotel reception if you need it and the one time we approached them they were so helpful. On arrival we were greeted by a member of hotel staff who sat us down with a welcome drink and explained everything about the hotel in a calm and easy to take in way - sometimes I feel so tired from travel I can't take it all in but I did this time. She even walked us to our room and explained everything - so helpful. I have had a tummy bug since arriving from Bangkok and Elephant Hills so I have spent more time in the room than I normally would and the sea view, beach view and all the lovely greenery visible from our balcony has made it a pleasurable experience. Complementary dinner or lunch each day at the hotel restaurant Red Chopstix but again because of my bug I wasn't able to benefit from this as not been eating much. We stayed in 203 and can see the sea from the lovely balcony and the beach through the exotic planting. Again, the nicest and most comfortable room I have ever had.

Rooms are beautifully decorated with hardwood throughout, well worth paying for a sea view you can hear the waves - lovely. It can be quite a walk to your room from the entrance and/or to the beach over some quite slippery wooden walkways, something to bare in mind if you are unsteady on your feet. The breakfast was ok, order from menu, no variety - would have preferred a buffet option as we are over covid. Dinner in the restaurant was nice, perhaps a few more vegetarian options would have been good. Service was good throughout.

We were looking for something quiet, beautiful, & next to the beach. The Marina Resort delivers that in spades. From the lush tropical landscaping, the koi fish at the reception area, to the stunning rooms overlooking the ocean this was a breathtaking welcome to Thailand. After initially booking a garden view room we upgraded to ocean view which was spectacular but after seeing the garden view rooms with the beautiful birds singing everywhere those seemed just as lovely so whatever your room choice it’s a good one. We loved that everyday the breakfast staff tried to help us learn the language, always smiling & laughing like friends you had known forever. Karon beach is steps from their beachside restaurant which is fantastic for walking, swimming, snorkeling, & suntanning. The poolside massages were so amazing even my husband was grateful for our couples massage with the birds singing overhead & thunder off in the distance. We enjoyed every second of our stay here & when it was time to leave I was teary eyed to be leaving such amazing people & a wonderful place. Thank you all for the most blessed introduction to Thailand, everyone there truly represents the Land of Smiles through & through.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We booked through Kuoni holiday group and were given the absolute best service from the minute we came out of the airport up until we left phuket. Our kuoni rep from the hotel - apple - was superb, she assisted in booking excursions to various different places such as Thai cooking class Phuket. The hotel is so clean, huge attention is paid to detail and there is no limit to what they can do for you! We stayed here for a honeymoon week and had ocean views from our room. Would 100% recommend.

Just got back from this fabulous hotel - it is 5 star for everything - position/rooms/cleanliness/helpful staff/beautiful setting/ very short walk to an amazing beach. Breakfast and an evening meal were included and all of the food was of a very high standard. We had an ocean view room which was beautiful but all the rooms are like individual Thai cottages with other options being Garden View and Jungle View. Right between the resorts of Karon and Kata so always plenty to see and do on a night. I honestly wish I could live there

Prior to departing Australia for another cracking holiday in Thailand, I realised our family friend was having his birthday whilst in Thailand. So I did some research, and knowing that Greg loves a sunset and beach views, I stumbled across “On The Rock” restaurant which is part of Marina Phuket at Karon Beach.
Very happy to say that I was quite humbled at how easy it was to arrange a reservation, a small cake for celebrations, and the food that we had for dinner was incredible.
Our trip to Thailand this year is trip number 8.
We come here every year as we love the culture, the food, and the Thai’s are simply beautiful people who make us feel very welcome with every holiday.
Thank you to one and all at the On The Rock restaurant for making Greg’s birthday memorable. If we don’t make it back to you for another meal on this holiday, you can absolutely count on us being back in 2024.
Thank you !

Beachview Bungalows are great. Very proper rooms, very nice pool and very calm.

Only Disadvantage: Not for wheel chair drivers !

Breakfast restauranmt, which is used in the evening as dinner restaurant, has very beautiful view to Karon Beach

We had a wonderful few days at the Marina, staying as a family in two jungle rooms in August. The rooms were really beautiful and very comfortable. The whole hotel is surrounded by lush tropical gardens - the pool, which we often had to ourselves, is in an incredible setting. Breakfast in The Rocks was always special, with an amazing view across the bay. We also ate in the Red Chopstix restaurant several times - the food was consistently good. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and really got to know us over the time we were there. Outside the hotel there are restaurants and shops nearby which was very convenient. Its a great place to go for walks up and down the coast too. So glad we stayed there and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Hi! Overlooking pool didn't see the rooms, because of the jungle you couldn't see anything. There are rooms near the steps that lead to the pool. But it is necessary to you? There is noise, the pool is not cold, if you compare with the water of the sea, it is a little cooler. And so, it is very good to swim in the cool water when it is very hot outside.
