The hotel is in an OK spot just across from the beach and the staff are generally lovely and friendly. However, they are battling with a completely neglected run down hotel with poor managment. No hot water most of the time, laminated floors peeling and creating step hazards, faulty air con turning itself on and off, thick grey mould on the shower ceiling, green swimming pools a lot of the time. Building work throughout in open areas and some rooms had showers over baths that you could not stand up in. We had three rooms for nine hights - a couple in their 60s and two couple in their later 20s with no kids. We were put in rooms immediately facing the kids pool and slide which was exceptionally noisy (and they did have vacant rooms elsewhere). My take home advice is check the room before you accept it - if you are already booked in. If not go elewhere there are much nicer hotels at teh same price.…

We were disappointed in our stay at Destination Karon. The property is in disrepair, generally needing some care. Staff didnt allow us to check in early, despite arriving at 11am (3pm checkin here). We later realised that the hotel is obviously lacking housekeeping staff, as our rooms were only cleaned once before 4pm. Often had to ask for water, towels , even toilet paper! On our second day, we had zero water to our room for two hours. Reported it to front desk staff, and problem wasn't rectified until my husband went and found a maintenance man himself (he wasnt told about the issue from front staff). Received a note at checkin re: repairs taking place. Who knows how long this has been occurring or will continue for? The private plunge pool rooms seem like they're out of order at the moment. Be aware that these aren't private at all. Upstairs balcony looks over, as does walkway to rooms. Easy to take a nice pool photo here, IF you avoid the unsightly parts (broken pool decking, construction sheeting and green algae in pool). The property seems popular with European families. Wouldn't recommend for couples. We liked the location on Karon but wouldn't stay here again. …

Great hotel great staff great for kids. Children under 12 have free breakfast which is unheard of this day and age. Good pools. Hotel restaurants a bit pricey but that's the only negative. Happy hour is good

If I had a zero rating I would give it 0.We had booked 2 rooms in this resort.Upon check in we got to our room and the room was not properly cleaned someones eggs and stuff were still in the fridge.Credit given to the Manager of duty Judy who apologised and also understood our concern.She also helped us move our elderly parents closer to us as they were on the far end.Fast forward a few days later the A/C in. Our room stopped working and they managed to sort out.Then fast forward 27th July 2023 a different manager on duty and the A/C stopped working so they changed our room.So we moved room and my kids went to enjoy the pool ,Upon returning they had a bath and while with there mum in the shower the water stopped this was around 6pm. Upon calling reception and speaking to them they said it will take 60minutes to sort out.After 60minutes nothing we on vacation trying to get ready to go out but got no water the toilet overflowing as it won't flush.Go back down to reception the manager on duty offers me a room upgrade with a pool and free airport transfer.I refused it as what's the use of a upgrade if u got no water to go do what u planned for the night.At 10pm while my kids are fast asleep they busy checking the water in the room.Fast forward its now 00:30 28th July water coming out brownish and the waters cold.I even have videos of the dirty water.What a wasted day of my holiday just don't book this hotel they of no help.I sit here at this time not having supper.i was promised a visit by the General Manager by the staff on shift tomorrow.If u know what's Good for you don't book this so called family holiday…

I stay here with my family for 5days with 2rooms. Its too beautifull view and very kind staff. I stay in 3214/3215 near the pool, it's easy to go to the kids pool with slider. The staff at front desk is helpfull

Excellent hotel! The location is just perfect, in front of the beach. Lots of amenities, and activities to do, even for kids. The staff is really nice, especially Amanda and Rifey. They took care of us all the time; impossible to get bored. Thanks for a great stay!!!
