We arrived late in the evening, when it was dark and rainy, so it wasn't until the morning after we were able to fully enjoy the quaint village and the beautiful views from the hotel room. We stayed in two separate rooms with our two kids and were happy to find that the hotel had put us in rooms next to each other, as we hade wished when we made the booking. We discovered quite quickly that the WiFi signal was not very strong (non-existent) in our rooms but after I asked the receptionist/waiter in the hotel restaurant he immediately got on it and within thirty minutes they had hooked up an additional router and signal was excellent. Happy faces all over... The village is very small and quiet so naturally we had dinner at the hotel which was just lovely. A good mix of basic Macedonian food that everyone was very happy with. We were visiting during off-season so not a lot of guests but it seemed to be the place for locals to come and hang out - and smoke unfortunately. Amazing how distant indoor smoking seems now. Breakfast was included in the price and it was just perfect. Great coffee and a varied mix of bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and of course "aivar" which was home made and delicious. We just stayed one night but we were sad to leave.…
Good hotel but I expected something like a resort and with views from the park according to their website and commentaries but in fact you just have some views from the restaurant’s balcony and even though with several houses all around. Room is OK and comfortable but decoration is so, so. I booked a room with a balcony and what I had was a huge roof from the restaurant first and then lots of houses instead of trees. Restaurant decoration is really lovely and full of details (something that lacks a little in the rooms) and food was very good. We had dinner and breakfast there. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage through the stairs.
We stayed at Hotel Tutto one night during our bike trip through Macedonia and Albania. It was one of the few decent hotel experiences of the trip. The hotel lobby / dining / bar area is definitely the highlight of this quirky, arty hotel. The views of the village from the rooms and hotel terrace were great.
This lovely hotel is a little quirky, refreshing, and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The room was bright and cheery, pops of colour made it fun, the view from the balcony was priceless. This is a quiet little village, lovely to just wander around and enjoy local quiet life. The hotel has rooms both in the main building and in locations around the village so you can really experience life a bit like a local. The staff are very professional, helpful and generous with their time. Tutto conducted a cooking demonstration and we had matched wines served by a very professional staff member. Excellent service and the food was delicious. My only regret was we could not stay longer.
This is a great place to stay if exploring Mavrovo. The views from the bedroom and restaurant are great, and the rooms have everything you need. The staff are helpful, and the restaurant in particular is a real treat!
One of the best hotels I have ever been to. The location is amazing with beautiful views. It is enough just to sit in the restaurant and watch the surroundings. Staff was very kind. We especially appreciate how they treated our little 2years old son. Breakfast was delicious (especially ajvar and cheese). We also went for dinner twice and were always very satisfied. Regarding the room, it was spacious and well equipped (ofc it included beautiful view). In general it was perfect. The only flaw was that we stayed only for 2 nights. We will surely come back again!
We stopped by the restaurant at Hotel Tutto while exploring the Medrovo National Park. Though a little hard to find and lacking in signposting, the hotel was warm and cosy, with friendly staff and an incredible view over the village and valley. The waiting staff were friendly and were able to recommend great dishes (using good English). We had a delicious meal - highly recommend the Tutto’s meat pan and the chicken skewer. The hot tea made from local wild herbs was excellent. Really enjoyable experience and will be back to stay overnight next time.
We stayed in an apartment that was great for our family of 5. The only downfall was that there was no natural common space for us all to sit together. The surrounding town was not much to see, but this hotel is definitely a jewel! We would return just for the meals! Amazing.
A hidden treasure. Amazing to find a ecologically built hotel/restaurant that uses slow cooking. Janche is such a peaceful village surrounded by lovely nature. A perfect basis for hiking. Just go there!
Hotel Tutto, located in the small village of Jance is a true bliss. The hotel is amazing and the staff there are all exceptional. They are friendly and will go beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Tutto hotel has many rooms and I stayed in a simple double room. It had all I needed a comfy bed, bathroom which had all I needed. Please be aware that the hot water indeed is limited so you might find it difficult to have a 30 minute hot shower. There is a TV in the room (never watched that), but I guess according to modern standards it is a small TV. But the highlight, the balcony. It has the amazing view over the village. It is magnificent. If you do find yourself hungry, hotel Tutto has a restaurant, which servers great food at reasonable prices. Be aware that in case you would like some traditional dishes, they have to be pre-ordered (at least 5 hours in advance). The communication regarding to your stay might be hard as they are quite busy with their lovely hotel and they do not speak much English. If you know German or Italian, in addition to Macedonian 🙂, you are fine. Now to get there. If coming from Skopje, Mavrovo, just take the buss to Debar and it will have a bus stop near Jance, roughly 1km away. If coming from Ohrid. Make your way to Debar and take the bus to Skopje and hop off near Jance or take a taxi, which costs roughly 8 euros. In any case go there. Jance and the mountains make this place a true bliss. …
