Lovely English cottage home with lots of decorative details. Owner and staff were friendly. The home cooked breakfast set in the glass pavilion overseeing the garden was warm and delicious. The scenery opposite the front road and behind the cottage was simply breathtaking. Wifi signal in the room was strong. Throughout our 12 days tour rounding England and Scotland, Toghill... More

Just returned from a two night stay at Toghill and would definitely stay again if I was in the area. It is a lovely old house with a very homely feel. We stayed in a twin room (no.2) which was cosy but a nice aspect and everything you'd need (hairdryer, plenty of tea/coffee, towels etc). The breakfast was very nice... More

Really enjoyed Toghill House Farm. Had 4 nights there and we were welcomed and all staff were very friendly. I took my dog which was no problem at all and she was welcomed too!! Not far to drive to Bath where I was visiting my son, so it was nice and handy. Excellent breakfasts.

BB was nice and clean with great views across the country. The Breakfast was good with a nice variety. We stayed in room 6 with was in the attic which had a lot of room but the head room was low in places. the bed was low to the ground and for a elderly person it would be difficult to... More

The building used to be a resting place for pilgrims travelling so dates back hundreds of years. It has been beautifully decorated - Laura Ashley bedding, Portmeiron crockery etc - but all very much in keeping with the building. I was made very welcome and shown to a really large comfortable room. The views across the surrounding countryside are great.... More

We arrived at the b&b at 3pm and knocked on the door, the lady who greeted us looked quite surprised as if we were not expected. Not the type of welcome I was expecting, she took us across the courtyard to the upstairs barn and showed us our room. We were told that heating did not come on until 4.30pm... More

We stayed overnight during a visit to Bath, in order to be close to Blue Leaf Ceramics (reviewed separately), where we had a reservation for a pottery session the next day. We were three couples: my husband and I, my daughter and her partner and my son and his partner. There is no common room or a place where one... More

Stayed for the weekend, the room was lovely and had enough space for three women to spread out! The building is set in beautiful countryside and all the staff are full of knowledge and helpful with any requests. Breakfast was top quality and plenty or variety, set you up for the day. This is in the middle of the countryside... More

We had to find an alternative B&B in the area as the one we usually use was not available. This was recommended and we were very pleased with it. It is just as advertised - on a working farm complete with friendly dogs. The room we had was in a converted barn and was very comfortable. It was also quiet,... More
