Singita Kwitonda is new and (as a huge fan of the Singita brand) is nothing less than spectacular! We'd like to give a huge thank you to the team of Kate Murray, James Burnham-King, Alice Wilhelm, Jean Claude Muhoza, Lydia Nzayo for making our trip memorable. This is the best way to see the Mountain Gorillas and Golden Monkeys. The rooms, food, staff, location, decor are nothing less than amazing. We truly expect this lodge to be ranked as one of (if not in the #1 spot) the best hotels in the world.

Dear PaigeM502, Thank you for the inspiring review. Our aim is most certainly to achieve top honours internationally in due time. However, we are staying grounded for now, making sure we carefully bed down the foundations to support the operation and surrounding community for many years to come. We are humbly and quietly confident that if the newly assembled and trained team keep their heads down and continue to treat every guest that enters the country as a blessing and miracle – the rewards should start rolling in for this spectacular property and country. Please do stay in touch. Warm regards, Brad Murray and the Singita Kwitonda family. General Manager - Singita Kwitonda Lodge

This brand new lodge is stunning. If you are seeking a luxurious home-base for your gorilla trek experience then this is the place. We had our own beautiful house with all of the modern comforts and amenities one could think of. Outdoor/indoor fireplaces, outdoor/indoor showers, Dyson hairdryer, bedside charging outlets, stocked minibar, daily laundry service, and spectacular volcano views. The bathroom has a massage table and my massage with Ilena was outstanding. The food and wine were delicious and we loved the tapas-style dining. Of course, you are here for the gorillas and Singita has thought of everything to enhance your trek. Their mudroom has warm jackets, gators, gloves, walking sticks, and backpacks. And they send you off with a delicious packed snack. When you return from your trek they are waiting for you with hot hand towels and big smiles. What a grand experience this was. Thank you for the memories Singita Kwitonda.

Dear mwspecial, What a delight to read your comment. It was a great pleasure hosting you and we are very glad to see how positive your stay was. While designing the lodge, every detail has been designed in order to make our guests feel at home and so your comments made us exceptionally proud. Thank you for being part of the conservation purpose in Rwanda. Just by staying at Singita and experiencing a Gorilla trek you have contributed to the expansion of this endangered species. We truly hope we will be able to welcome you again. With warmest regards, Lydia Nzayo. Assistant Lodge Manager - Singita Kwitonda Lodge

Dear FA52018, Thank you for the positive feedback. The guest suites have had great reviews since opening. The architects, interior designers and in fact everyone who put them together so meticulously from Singita head office, will be delighted to read your kind words. I will pass on the wonderful feedback relating to the SVNP family on the ground here in Rwanda - thank you! All the best for 2020. Warm regards, Brad Murray. General Manager - Singita Kwitonda Lodge

This resort is brand spanking new but you can hardly tell as the staff is excellent. I love plants and nature and the landscape is new I can tell that a short period of time as the thousands of trees mature it will only be more spectacular

Dear Exploration736115, Thank you for your feedback. The Rwandan team are growing in confidence daily, and are really enjoying the being exposed to and meeting amazing people from all corners of the globe. With reference to the landscaping, it is amazing how a previously poorly managed section of land adjacent to a National Park can be restored to its former natural state in a relatively short time frame. We have noticed an incredible return of frogs, chameleons, birds and then larger animals such as genet, civet, jackal, buffalo and even the odd forest elephant visit. Every Singita employee takes pride in knowing that they work for a conservation company. We, along with the incredible Rwanda National Park rangers, have a responsibility to protect Rwanda fauna and flora for future generations to enjoy. We look forward to having you back one day. Warm regards, Brad Murray. General Manager – Singita Kwitonda Lodge

Every aspect of our stay was spectacular. Although the backdrop of the volcanoes was amazing, the comforts of the common areas and our room were like nothing before. More importantly, the staff is helpful and always anticipates your needs. Then there is the food. Creative, fresh and tasty. This is a life changing experience.
