Permits for non-residents were $800 U.S. when I was there. The National Park rangers, porter, and trackers should also be tipped when you finish. Tips vary widely. I think our group each gave the rangers $20, the porter... More

Hi Mike, On Day 1, we hiked to 10,000 ft; left the lodge before 7am and returned at 2pm. We were pretty tired, and spent the rest of the day resting/processing photos, Day 2 was much easier, and we were back at the lodge by... More
