We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this charming little gem of a resort as an adult family of six and cannot recommend it highly enough. We stayed in the bungalows that are nestled in their own little tranquil, tropical oasis. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels always available. But the real stars of this show are it's exceptional owners Pascal and Phillipe and the folks who work with them, Wan and Kamon. Nothing was to much trouble for any of them and they were always available to help by either providing breakfast, lunch or dinner, organising excursions, sorting out your laundry or just offering some local advice....it was on Pascal's recommendation of a local tailor that I bought a suit. The beach is a good 20 minutes walk away, but just before you turn down the road towards the beach there is a fantastic Italian coffee shop and bakery that wouldn't be out of place on the streets on Bangkok or London, so you can always stop there and watch the world go by. Overall we cannot recommend this resort highly enough, ten out of ten. (And we nearly forgot, the adorable Flip and his 2 feline friends).

· This property is a must stay! The owners (Pascal and Phillipe) are amazing to have dealt with on our 10night stay at their accommodation. We stayed in the bungalow and it was just perfect for value and relaxation, the grounds on which the resort is located on is pure paradise and you truely feel like you are in a jungle retreat, just perfect with a lovely pool and jacuzzi and a small bamboo pool bar which has very reasonable price drinks, cocktails and food. Myself and my partner also booked tours, excursions and taxi’s from Pascal and they all where perfect and very very cheap prices, best to book with Pascal! Honestly this is just worth the money and so much more and the owners do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and at home and answer to your every need with a lovely smile and great French hosting. We will return on our next time to Thailand and most definitely stay here and recommend anyone to stay here too! Also I see they are building brand new luxury bungalows with a beautiful pool. I will be excited to stay in this on our return for that extra bit of comfort. Towns and shops are a very good walking distance and a nice walk where locals are very friendly, beach is very close and if you do not wish to walk you can rent a scooter directly from Ban Elephant Blanc Bungalows. Thank you so much guys you truely made our first holiday to Thailand a very exceptional and beautiful one. P.s also let us check out later with no hesitation or problem just a lovely smile.

After deliberating whether or not to stay here or a mainstream hotel, we definitely made the right choice. Both Pascal and Phillipe were exceptional hosts. The bungalows were very clean and had all the amenities of a big hotel, however the setting leads you to believe you are in paradise. The grounds and the pool were extremely well kept, both sun cream and towels are provided which we thought was a nice touch. If you are considering booking this place, do not hesitate, just book it, you will NOT be disappointed. This is extremely good value for money, we will definitely return. Thank you Pascal and Phillipe for a great stay.

Beware there are actually two different properties. Ban Elephant Blanc Apartment and Ban Elephant Blanc Bungalows. The problem is that the reviews for The Apartments are actually for the Bungalows. The hotel is aware of this and so is Hotels dot com, yet neither will take responsibility. We booked the apartments based on the reviews stating it was an “oasis” and had a beautiful outdoor area. It is definitely not an oasis. It was an ugly building, in a shabby alley next to a loud maintenance building. The rooms were at least clean and in a decent location(the only positives). These apartments are cashing in on the good reviews of the other property and had no problem doing it. Even admitting that they were aware of it. When we tried to change hotels they refused to refund any part of our money. Perhaps they are nice people if you stay at the Bungalows...but in this case they definitely were not nice or honest.
