We were made to feel welcome from the moment of our arrival until our departure.A clean well appointed room. Lots of choices on the breakfast menu, which was cooked beautifully. Manon and Ann were delightful. Manon was extremely helpful with advice and tips about the places we intended to visit. Lots of walks and National Trust properties to visit in... More

The Old House has a wonderful Garden Wing, it has lovely period rooms, so comfortable and set in the most amazing 1acre garden. The private seating area outside a wonderful bedroom patio door is amazing to just sit out , read, drink a glass of wine or tea from the wonderful Victorian crockery. So civilised and relaxing, it was like... More

Our room was very well appointed, comfortable and nicely decorated. It was spotlessly clean, with nice bed linen and towels and a well planned bathroom. We were invited to pre-order our breakfast and its time by leaving a card outside the bedroom when we returned from the wedding at night. The breakfast menu was interesting with a delicious fresh fruit... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights on our arrival from Australia. Sarah's room was just what we needed to help us get over jet-lag - a large room with a big comfy bed, decent shower, delicious breakfast and peace and quiet. Manor and Anne were welcoming and friendly but not intrusive and were helpful with suggestions for eating... More

A wonderful B&B that is perfectly situated to walk the Quantock Hills and surrounding area. The gardens are simply stunning and some of its flowers are put into vases around the house, which is a lovely touch. The owners are both very hospitable, the breakfasts are delicious and very substantial plus our room was clean and cosy. Would definitely visit... More
