The one good thing about this hotel was th breakfast. For France it's very good with ham, cheese, yoghurt and eggs in addition to bread and croissants. However the quality of the rooms is very variable we stayed with friends and one room was quite nice and the other really wasn't at all. Also the service is a bit lax....

This old world chateau turned hotel is for those people who want the authentic french "provence" experience. No tvs, internet shaky as well but who needs those on holiday anyways. The charm of this place is in sipping champagne in the manicured garden with its ivy walls behind you. The staff is quite friendly, as is the tiny dog :)

This house with a charming garden has seen better days. The sleeping mattrass is hard , the bed is too small (1,4 m). We had no TV and the toilet and bath were on another floor. Breakfast was ok, but no fruit. Eggs only hard boiled. Temerature in the room was very hot due to warm water pipes on the...

Very good location, close to the highway but located in a quiet little town and next to a lovely canal (good for a nice walk in the evening). The property has lots of character, and a nice garden plus private parking. Very friendly host, discreet but ready to help out (directions, coffee, ...) and speaks English which is a big...

After a bad start in Epernay at a chain hotel, we decided to try the Tourist office. the lovely lady there was a great help and gave us a few options, of which this one stood out, thankfully. We booked 2 rooms and my parents were travelling with us, and after a little trouble finding the correct entry ( along...

We stayed with our kids for one night and we loved it. It has large and nice garden to run around. Outside there was a playground for kids. Rooms where large and nice. Size of bathroom was remarkable. Everything was clean, surrounding was quiet. Breakfast was not classical French (read small) - there was enough food for us and for...

We arrived later than we planned, but our host was still up kindly waiting for us. It was a bit tricky to find, but we stopped and asked someone as the entrance is around the back by the river. The rooms were large and beautiful. They met all of our needs perfectly! It is quite charming and the hostess was...

This is a beautiful little B&B some 10-15 mins outside Epernay, so if you go there for dinner you'll need a designated driver. We had a large sunny room facing the inner courtyard, with a hallway and large bedroom, all spotlessly clean. I don't think there were any other guests, but either way it was very peaceful and quiet. The...

The host was not there to check me in at the appropriate time. The sign also said to go around the back but the gate was closed. I had to bother a French couple to call and was told someone would be there in 15 minutes but finally showed up 45 minutes later. I missed an appointment and was quite...
