We stayed at the Chateau in July with our 2 children (aged 2 and 6). In terms of the positives, the Chateau itself is very elegant and the grounds are great, so first impressions are nice. The kids loved the pool and the maze and plenty of space to run around. However, there were quite a few negatives. Firstly the... More

We made the detour to the Chateau de Courcelles from a Champagne river cruise and it was well worth it. From the amuse bouche through to the petits fours with the coffee it was an exceptional gastronomic experience. The service was impeccable but not intrusive and the terrace setting sublime. We all chose the Prestige Menu Our taste buds warmed... More

We have stayed at Chateau de Courcelles 4 times in the last 8 years. Our previous 3 visits were exceptional hence the repeat visits. However during our most recent visit last week we found that things have changed, and not necessarily for the better. If you were staying here for the first time I've no doubt that you would be... We stayed just one night at this lovely chateau. It's not far from Reims but beware using sat nav as we ended up in a tiny village not far away. We had to use old fashioned sign posts to arrive at the Chateau. A few minutes later and we found the huge gates leading to the driveway. It's a very... More

The services were excellent, all staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this to friends and family. Points to suggest:- * someone available upon arrival to help with luggage, we had to go in and find someone * the room was a little dated, we were too hot and there was no... More

Ancient buildings and their grounds require a lot of upkeep as the long, pot-holed approach to the Chateau de Corcelles shows only too well! The fine 16/17th century building does show signs of its age in several places but overall it hides things well. It is a gracious house and its gardens maintained just enough to show what might have... More

We booked this hotel at the last minute as we had a morning flight back to the US out of Charles de Gaul and wanted to be close to the airport (it's ~1 hour away). It looked great online but in person it's amazing. It is truly as if you were a quest in a real chateau. Rooms were large... More

I was staying in room no.5, it's very light and fresh with a big princess bed! With a view overlooking the gardens. All the rooms are different in colors and style. Which means that every stay will be a new experience. The staff are very polite and professional. The food is just excellent! And the Chef came to speak with... More

We spent the first night of our 12 day road trip up through northern France here and it was a very enjoyable way to start the trip. The grounds are wonderful! We spent quite of bit of our short stay wandering around and appreciating the outdoor spaces. There is a pleasant terrace off the dinner conservatory where we were able... More

Great relaxing place to stay with adequate facilities and places to enjoy the sun. Great restaurant and hotel to relax. The "R" and the "C" gets the full value in this place. This was our second visit to get around in the champaign area and it maintains its qualities. One negative point to be handled by the management: the poor... More
