We made a booking for 8 people - received an e-mail from Louise Joubert of Bukisa, cancelling the booking at very short notice. We were offered a time later, with the added 'bonus' of an extra day free. Again an issue with our booking, but again the 'bonus' of another extra day free. Eventually got a booking well in advance.... More

I loved this place. Absolute peace and quite in the heart of the bush veld. The game drives were personal, and passionate. My only complaint is the service...too much..the staff are always around. This does not allow for any private time while at camp

We went in February 2015, we were the only guests and were well looked after by the then ranger Johan, he has since left, as apparently many ohers have. Food was mediocre Tabetha the cook ran the roost, we had to eat to suit her programme, if she wanted to watch tv then we had to eat, if we wanted... More

The beauty of this place is, is that it's set in a wildlife sanctuary which is a non profit organization, all the animals have been rescued and given a second chance. We had an owl nesting in front of our room in a flower bed set in a green oasis.

Bush Camp is so much of an understatement. This is a fantastic place! Large, comfortable chalets in a bush setting. Well furnished and equipped. Boma is so comfortable with a view to a lit waterhole. The food is fantastic home cooking and served with style. Helpings are rather large (not a compaint lol). Game drives were fun and interesting. The... More

We stayed here with friends a while ago, it was absolutely fabulous. The rooms are cool and comfortable. The food provided was really good and they catered to individual diets as well. We bought a load of drinks with us, but they would also provide for you if you asked or gave preferences. We went on two game drives on... More

The very pleasent staff at Sanwild looks after you from the time you arrive until you leave. It is a relatively small resort providing personal service. You can definitely relax and be ensured that you will see some wildlife. in addition, you get to support a good cause and learn more about conservation.
