It is quite amazing that there is such a beautiful spot just three hours away from Mumbai. One of the highlights of Kundalika cottages is that they're located very close to the river. This place has a lot of potential to make it big, but for unknown reasons, it is in ruins. Stepping into the cottages, gives you the same feeling one would get, when checking into those low cost lodges, by a railway station - damp walls, rusted girders supporting a dusty asbestos sheet, faded bed sheets and loosely hanging cane roll-up...

We reached very late! strongly recommend to reach when there is sunlight. Kolad being a village doesnt have street lights. We were not able to find this location. Roads are very bad.
