My wife and i here for work checked in yesterday, first thing i noticed was it had poor lighting, pots and pans were recently washed but still had grime on them, they where put away wet, some had a bit of water left in them, the toaster, coffee pot, kettle dirty with grease and grime, utensil drawer dirty, around the 4 burner stove top was caked with grease that was there for an extended amount of time by the looks of it, bathroom was not clean as it should be, not sure how clean the carpet is but i have my suspicion it hasn't been cleaned either?

We have stayed in many hotels in small town Sask and outdated, well-used rooms are not a problem for us. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. We lucked out with a full size fridge. Price was appropriate. What we had an issue with was he cleanliness of the rooms. There were splatters on walls, bathroom shower was caked with grime. The shower curtain was same and had brown crud that was likely mould. There was filth collected in corners and creases that led us to believe things were always simply wiped off and not scrubbed or deeply cleaned. We were in 2nd floor and opened window because the air conditioner was insufficient. The window pains were layered with dust and dirt. The double curtains were also completely dusty. There were crumbs in the fridge. The carpet in the room was in good condition but it had not been vacuumed before we checked in. The carpeted outdoor hallway was completely covered in dirt and clearly not vacuumed ever. We moved the night stand a little to find a plug in and there was significant dust and dirt beneath and behind the bed. The worst thing was probably the dirty smudges and discolouration around the light switches and door handles, indicating those areas are not regularly cleaned properly. I didn’t feel like any concerns would have been well received by the manager, as he was quite unapproachable. We are not complainers but a dirty hotel room is not cool.

The rooms are disgusting, the walls have splatters on them, the kitchen and bathroom were filthy, the outside door didn't close properly, curtins falling down, dirty teatowel, bathmat had holes in it. If you didn'take maid service by noon, you didn't get your room cleaned. Overpriced, terrible experience.

The whole family was home for a 90th birthday party. We seem to have out grown Moms home so we booked 3 rooms at the Tobin Lake motel. Beds were great, rooms clean. Quiet. Toast, muffins, apples and coffee for breakfast. It filled the holes in the kids tummies.

Could be an average motel to stay at if it were cleaned properly. The coffee pot was dirty, bathroom was dirty, and dirty finger prints, etc. Has a couple newer amenities like beds and TVs but is dirty therefore I would not stay here again.
