Had a fantastic week here, the van was spotless and comfortable with great attention to detail. Lovely site with a nice little shop and delicious home made scones to order. Both ourself and our daughter and grandchildren loved the walk down into Coverack and having the field for our dog great. The owners are lovely and make you very welcome, nothing to much trouble. Already booked again.

As a family we arrived after a very trying journey to Cornwall ( 6 hours turned into 11), which is a record for us as we have been coming to Cornwall for years, but we soon realised that due to the pandemic this area had suddenly become attractive for the masses! We ordered a mini shop from the holiday parks small but well stocked shop; Sue one of the sites owners made sure drinks were in the fridge along with milk butter and bacon. On arrival due to Sue’s foresight we had cold drinks on hand, which were welcome in the 25c heat. Sue had also looked after some forward ordered frozen pasties and placed three into the fridge to thaw for us, putting the rest in the freezer of our Lankidden holiday home. The Holiday Park has seen masses of investment over the last 4 years and as a consequence has been up- graded to gold four pennant award, which is well deserved. Road ways and both toilet block have been totally refurbished to very high standards. Upgraded security keeps you and your property safe; the new entrance barriers with electronic cards are a great improvement. They have an ongoing holiday home replacement program in place and have many new units already on site. Ours was 2 years old and very comfortable with good quality implements within which ensured you wanted for nothing. Both Sue and Mark have overseen a complete modernisation of their business and this is resulting in many very happy customers who return again. We have already booked for 2022 and wish all the family a special thanks for making our holiday one to remember.

I’ve stayed at this campsite twice now (both times with friends) and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The staff are lovely, toilets/showers are spotless and it’s only a 20 minute walk from the pub in Coverack. We asked for a spot away from kids both times because we can’t hack the early start that comes with them and the owners were more than happy to oblige. There’s a big field for dogs, firewood/fire pits available on site and even a games room. What more could you want!

We have just returned from our 2nd visit this year. We discovered this campsite when searching for accommodation on the Lizard Peninsula as had planned some coastal walks. A great find!! On both occasions we stayed in a static mobile home. The homes were both relatively new and extremely clean. They both had well equipped kitchens and the shower room was quite spacious. There are roughly only about 20 mobile homes in total with some possibly privately owned. The grounds of the campsite are immaculate with the shower/toilet blocks newly renovated. There’s a couple of camping/touring fields, a children’s play area, a small games room and a small shop selling essentials. If you like entertainment in the evening and lots going on this is not the campsite for you. The campsite has a really chilled vibe - in saying that we’ve not stayed in really high season so it may be different. It’s clear that the owners, Mark & Sue have invested a lot of time and money to update the campsite facilities and grounds. There’s so much info in the welcome guide regarding the site, area, places to eat, visit, walk etc. The nearest village is Coverack which is a 20 minute walk through the lanes (or across the field). There’s a couple places to eat, a village shop and a beach with a small harbour. There’s a fantastic (I say that now) walk from the headland to Beagle’s Point with stunning scenery. I would take the easier route if you have kids - we chose the rock climbing route which was challenging. There’s plenty of places nearby - Lizard Point, Kynance Cove (a real must), Mullion Cove, Poldhu Beach, Kennan Sands, Porthleven…..the list goes on. We found a great farm shop at Ruan Minor called Treleague Dairy. The nearest supermarkets are in Helston - Sainsbury’s, Tesco. Another fab stay and I’m sure we will be back again soon.

On first glance this site has everything. We have just returned from a week there and it does tick a lot of the boxes. However there are a few things that could do with improving in our opinion. First the positives. The site is clean and toilets, wash room and laundry are all well maintained. The play area also is fantastic. It's owners are friendly and welcoming and the little shop has all the things you need without going out. It can be really peaceful however that is a double edged sword. The main problem is actually other campers on this site and I think the owners being nice do need to enforce certain areas of their rules. We were backing onto a separate field which seemed to be holding a large group of people, they constantly made noise well after the 10pm quiet time, on one night till well after midnight. Our neighbours who had a younger child had apparently mentioned this to the owners but the noise continued. We aren't fun sponges but when these people were holding the Olympics during the day with shouting, clapping and hollaring like they had a chance of gold, then some muppet playing a guitar badly and the worse krapyoke. I know it's campers that should follow rules but this type of thing just annoys others on site. Also we were shown to our pitch and told to keep within the boundaries, which we did, however others seemed not to of had this memo as they were all over the place, some people almost into the only access in and out of our pitch. Which led to many huffs and puffs when we had the audacity to want to get out. Think the drier certainly could do with an upgrade, quite expensive and only a small domestic doesn't do the job especially on a wet week. Lastly Dogs... This I'm sure is again owners but some of these owners just let there precious pooch do what it wants, barking and wandering around. I think more patrols (not to extremes on some other sites) but definitely more of an appearance could result in these issues being resolved.
